Apparently Guy Fieri was here! Ordered the spaghetti and meatballs togo on ubereats and was blown away by the portion size. It was humongous! The pasta (egg pasta btw) was cooked al dente, and the sauce coated the noodles nicely without being too salty. Although i do wish there was a third meatball instead of two, just to balance out the proportion of carbs to protein. Overall enjoyed my lunch!

Super cute family restaurant. Our server was kind and knowledgeable. The chopped antipasto salad was HUGE for just the small! The chicken parm penne vodka was good- the sauce was runnier than I prefer and not as rich as I am accustomed to. The chicken parm was wonderfully prepared. Portions were excellent for the price.

Came here to update my review from 4 years ago, that this place is still delish, still amazing. Came in a Saturday night and made a reservation, which I definitely recommend doing!

As an Italian from NJ, Mrs. Robino's is the closest thing I've had to my grandmas cooking! Everything we've had is incredible, the service is always quick and friendly, and you really feel like you're eating at someone's house. Mrs. Robino's is truly a Wilmington staple!

Overcooked Beef Braciole - dried out meatball and way too thick pasta

Oh Guy Fieri, you've done me wrong. We took a short road trip to Delaware to check out the authentic and highly recommended Mrs. Robino's and I was so sadly disappointed. Italian is my all time favorite and homemade scratch pasta always steals my heart. This however... not so much. This pitiful dark, dirty multi-roomed "restaurant" with bath and bodywork's candles burning on odd empty tables had me questioning if we even wanted to stay. Homestyle. I told myself. Let just pretend we are in Nona's cramped row home on a holiday. How dare I insult any Italian grandma that way. We ordered the "Guys sampler" and the way overcooked Braciole was simmering far too long and had a burnt sauce flavor and chewy texture. Not to mention the toothpicks that simmered so long they were broken down within the meat. The spaghetti was more of a Bucatini and way too thick. The ravioli were thick and could have been rolled thinner but were the only edible part of the meal. My chicken parm was pitiful. I've honestly had better at the Olive Garden. The sauce... the deep dark red sauce that topped everything was thick and pasty. Barely seasoned and lackluster. Our waitress was barely attentive and disappeared leaving us wanting for more refills on our drinks and then took forever to get our check to us. I give three stars to be generous just in case this was an off occurrence, but will not return for a second chance.

Mrs. Robino's was very nice. It is located close to the Wilmington Waterfront and has been featured in Guy Fieri's television show. I really enjoyed all of the picture frames they have throughout the restaurant. It's like Tony Soprano, and all renowned Italian actors, ate here. Our server, Bill, did a very good job. He kept us very comfortable and kept our drinks refilled. We really enjoyed the crispy cauliflower appetizer. They were cooked to perfection and the seasoning placed them on another level. We shared the Margherita Pizza. The pizza was thin, which I prefer, had fresh ingredients, and was at the right temperature throughout the meal. The cheese raviolis came with a large meatball and the sauce was flavorful. Don't hesitate to come into Mrs. Rabino's. You will enjoy a nice Italian meal and leave satisfied.

I am finally getting around to doing this review. It has been over 30 years since I last dined here. The restaurant was crowded and our server was attentive. There are a couple of dining areas. They are all pretty loud and somewhat cramped, but manageable. Parking arrangements are a bit unique, but there are available spots. After an appetizer of arancini, my wife got the veal cutlet, my daughter got the chicken parmesan, and I got the beef braciole (the Guy Fieri special). The food came out rather quickly, but still seemed rather lukewarm. They tend to use a lot of sauce, so be aware if you like a lesser amount. I still can't seem to find a place that has a braciole like my mom made. This braciole was good, but really garlicky. The homemade pasta is excellent and makes the trip worth the trouble. That's why they've been around for so long. Mrs. Robino's is a Wilmington landmark and a must visit.

The bar had an afterwork crowd and it appeared a bit understaffed. For my meal I ordered grilled octopus for a starter and I think it was one of the best I've ever had. Tender, savory with a really flavorful sauce. My wife had the Ricotta focaccia. Loved it. For dinner I had the pasta with mushroom and truffle. It was amazing. Temperature was perfect. It was hot, creamy and amazingly flavorful. My wife had the bream fish dish. She enjoyed that as well. For dessert we had the almond/chocolate tort. Very nicely warmed with a rich chocolate flavor to end the meal. I'll be back for sure.

The ambiance is super fun as it's hidden to the side of a food hall, but tucked away so it feels very intimate. The food was phenomenal. I got the chicken Parmesan (although it's an appetizer it filled me up), my husband got the sausage pizza and my friend got eggplant parm. While the food was amazing, the one complaint I had was the service. I felt bad I feel like the server was handling every single table, and while the server was super nice and helpful, our food took forever and getting water and the check took a while as well. During my visit, I ordered a salad and the ricotta gnocchi. I had originally planned to try the chicken parmesan, but unfortunately, they were out. The salad and drink were both fine, but the main course was a letdown. The portion was surprisingly small. At $24, I expected something more substantial, not what felt like an appetizer-sized dish. In total, I spent nearly $60 and left still hungry and underwhelmed.

Our ranking of the dishes we ate: --Carbonara--yes yes yes, a delightful explosion --Lamb neck--the richness of the broth cut slightly with the acidity of the passionfruit...order this --Branzino--light, flaky, heavily seasoned skin (in the best way) --Burrata pop tart--a classic that the entire table will love --Beef Tartare--loved the pillowy bread twist on this dish --Salmon--these are meant to be eaten in 1 bite, a pop of citrus with salty roe at the end --Scallop--this was the only miss for me. I thought the flavors were competing with each other instead of complementing. The Ode to Chocolate was awesome with so many different flavors and textures. A chocolate lovers dream! The staff here was super friendly and helpful. Each dish was described as it came out. I always love that because it shows how much care goes into each dish.
