My contractor suggested we go here.
I called and was told you can walk in, you do not need an appointment. We live no where near this place. We get there and were told the sales lady had to go home so we were pretty much on our own.
Another staff member tried to help but he admitted he does not do the sales part and we were frustrated that we drove so far to not have a good experience. We slapped stickers on remnant slabs and were told Joanne the salesperson would get back with us. Basically just a waste of our time and the staff knew it too.
You walk in to a showroom type area with sink options and small samples of countertops. Then in the back are the slabs but it was not rows and rows of slabs, it felt pretty congested and slabs sitting on top of each other so you could not really get a good look of the slabs.
Called Joanne and said we pretty much need to come back and she would help us find a slab. So it was frustrating to waste a trip out of there. We came back and thankfully Joanne was great. We brought our tile samples and she quickly had 3 slabs that she thought would look good and would be enough slab for what we needed for our bathroom. She shared that two counters we liked were the same price even though one was quartz and one was quartzite. We picked our slab and then the owner? measurer? came out to measure. Took a week or so for this to get scheduled.
He was okay, not very friendly - felt like he treated me lesser than being a woman kind of vibe. Thankfully my contractor got on the phone and told him what we needed - we needed a countertop but also thresholds and slabs for our shower and niches. I asked him how long it would take and he did not really give me an answer so I asked again. He then said about 10 days or so. The follow up from Joanne was lacking a bit as well - we were texting each other and I frequently had to follow up with her.
Install day went ok - the two staff were young guys. However, I was not happy with the way they did the bathroom countertop where the backsplash meets the counter. One side had a gap and the other was flushed. I didn't care if there was an edge or not but for them not to be the same threw me off. I texted Joanne and asked her if it could matched. Thankfully she was good about getting someone out to fix it. They came out about 5 days later to fix it and make both backsplash and countertop flushed. I was a happy customer at that point.
The slab is gorgeous and works beautifully with my bathroom design. But with so many countertop suppliers, I likely would try another supplier for my next project. read more
