4 cheese mushroom pizza - $16
Kristin K.

Love LOVE love the Italian Centre. I remember when this location opened up about 10 years ago and it was such a big deal that us north side R's didn't have to drive southside anymore to grab a pizza, latte, their famous Italian sub sandwiches, their hormemade pasta and sauces and of course their deli and olive bar! The restaurant is open until 8pm here. Perfect for a quick lunch date or to order a pizza while you shop (like I did today while killing time before a hockey game). The downside about this location is the parking lot is small and it can be quite busy on 170th as they are essentially across the street from WEM. Regardless this will continue to be a staple for me and my love of all things Italian Centre!

I've been going there since they opened! It's a bit bigger than my most favourite location (51 ave) and it seems it's as Popular as the other store! :) I love the produce area! Usually they have high quality fruits! The bakery is also my favourite. My number one choice is still chocolate croissants! :)

We love Italian Centre Shop! Love that you can stop by to buy groceries, pick up a meal or even some treats! We love their Pistachio cake so much my brother requestion it as his birthday cake last year. Also, tried this Golden Apple jam in one of their charcuterie sets one time (yes, you can get those too) and it was so good and went back just to buy more jam!

Isles and goodies.

Love it here! Stopped to eat lunch. Had the crab corner chowder soup and focaccia sandwich with capicola spinach sandwich. Both fabulous. Yum. The cappuccino was amazing. Smooth and flavorful. After we ate we looked around and had many opportunities to purchase and delight in all the foods for sales a great place to shop for all you deli needs and desires and more. Bakery. Butcher. Etc etc.

The Prociutto Rucola Pizza is layers of healthy-ish pizza heaven.

I love this store and I'm happy they are very close to us! :)…read moreThe store design is fantastic and I love their uniform. It has a very warm and welcoming vibe. We find products here that are usually hard to find somewhere else. The staff have been very friendly and helpful and when you have a question, they won't leave you till you find what you needed even if you ask them store manager. I love their butchery department and bakery the best. They always have fresh and high quality products that you can smell it from the opposite side of the store. Overall I have been always enjoying my shopping experience there and I highly recommend them! :)

There was lots of hype surrounding its opening and there were long lines waiting to go in when it first opened. I checked it out a few weeks after it opened and I'm not sure if it is worth the hype. There were a wide variety of local company products that can be bought at this store which is great. However the goal of my last visit was to try their in store made food. The ready made food in store was very disappointing. The Alberta Pork Ribs which they claim to be cherry wood smoked for 18 hours was very dry and salty. The hand cut potato wedges and potato salad were nothing special and got too salty. The classic smashed burger was a normal burger that wasn't worth the price. The large chili was overpriced for the portions that was given and reminded me of the chili you can get at Tim Hortons for less the price. The ready made food was just really mediocre. Perhaps just stick with doing grocery shopping here. Ordering the ready made food here is not a good idea.

This new grocery store sticks out in the neighbourhood with its neon green building colour, it's…read morereally hard to miss it! There's a lot of parking and the carts did not require coins (quarters) to use. COViD protocols are followed here and there was a person there to wipe down my cart before using. I wasn't sure what to expect cuz google reviews referred to it as a desi store, and their store opening neighbourhood mail out noted it was a south Asian grocer. I was pleasantly surprised that there's a ton of variety here catering to all sorts of Asian groceries as well as western groceries. The building is brightly lit and the produce is plentiful, fresh, lots of different kinds (including Asian veggies) and affordable (I saw no bruising or wilting on the fruits and veggies either). I'd say a large majority of the store caters to East Indians which suits the demographic here, but there was also lots of foods that specifically target Filipino, Korean, Chinese, etc. that would usually be found by going to multiple specialty shops...I'm glad it's like a one stop shop! There were a lot of discounted goods too and some even have stickers with additional savings at checkout; $5 fully decorated fudge cake?... Um yes please!! Honestly, I walked in for fruit and came out an hour later like a bandit! There's even some interesting flavours like fruit HP sauce, or masala smoked chicken deli meat. I am also impressed they sell a good variety of meat skewers and halal meat. They also sell reusable grocery bags if you forget your own, or you can ask for a box which is free. You can also opt to donate $10 for a mystery grocery food bag to be donated to the less fortunate fortunate. I'm pretty pumped that this place is so close to home, it might even become my new regular grocery store since there's so many new things I want to come back to try and add to the weekly family meal plan.

But No Frills had stock in sale items I wanted to purchase and I didn't find it dirty. The produce section had a great variety as good prices. I bought a huge tub of blueberries for $4! Some of the fruit didn't seem so great with bruises but most of it was fresh. Found lots of great buys including canned tuna for 97 cents, chicken drumsticks for less than $2/lb, 6 bagels for $1.67, margarine tub for $1, and other items for $1. Wow, great prices! There are some departments that were smaller than other stores including the meat and bakery. Bring your own bags or you can use the boxes they have. Parking lot is a zoo though, as we witnessed a few near accidents.
