I finally tried the pizza and went with the Toscana. I was the only one in the restaurant at 5pm on a weekday so no wait whatsoever. Italia Pizza is another Neapolitan pizza place in Atlanta metro area. They have huge space, making it look like a factory with benches. It is your typical, trendy restaurant design. And they have a bunch of Italian memorabilia to remind you it's Italian! When you look at their menu, the menu is reminiscent of another, popular Neapolitan pizza chain in Atlanta that rhymes with "Pantico." Some of them are plain copies of their pizzas with different names. Just like the other restaurant that rhymes with "Pantico," they have the same desserts like gelatos and cannoli. Honestly, they copied so much of it, it might as well be that restaurant. How is their pizza? It's pretty good. I thought the crust was a bit on the salty side. But it was baked well. It had decent charring, good spring and chew, and airy. The sauce was good and the ingredients were fresh. They had condiments at the bar, but it didn't have crushed garlic. Sad. The place is so clean, with large tables just right for parties or families, and the service is very fast. The food here is really consistent and delicious! I've tried a few different pizzas from here but my favorite is the Margherita -- I always go back to it. The service is amazing as well and the food always comes out around the same time so you know exactly how long you're waiting (10-15 min). The ambiance is nice -- lots of space. Stopped by yesterday for lunch and it was SO good! Their pizzas are the classic thin crust style and everything is made super fresh. Pizzas range from $18.50-22ish but are LARGE so it's a great place to go with a group to get a few pizzas to try. We got the Margherita pizza and the Bellucci pizza and both were amazing. They also have a little counter next to the register with containers of spices and oils that you can try adding to the pizza, I recommend trying the spicy oil, it's got a sweetness with a nice kick to it! And definitely don't skip dessert. We had their cannoli which was so crisp on the outside and perfectly creamy on the inside. It's a little bit of a drive for us since we come from West Midtown but we can't wait to go back! Highly recommend for getting your pizza fix! read more

So I had a very rough day and I just wanted a moment to myself. I ordered the toscana personal pizza with the toscana red blend and tiramisu. This was amazing! The pizza was authentic and crispy yet soft, with a perfect pairing with the red wine. The tiramisu might have been store purchased however it was the right store where it was the right consistency and flavor expected from a well balanced dessert. Having seen this place pop up on as a new PIzza place I wanted to try it out. I placed an order for pickup at 6:15 and when I got there the last pizza was just coming out of the oven. The inside of this place is pretty huge, industrial as it seems like is the normal thing nowadays, but the decor definitely went for the whole Italian, Ferrari with football (soccer) playing on the TV. While the pizzas didn't really come out in a circular shape, it was still pretty great. I ordered the Toscana and the Milano, and to be honest both were pretty great. I still prefer the Milano over the Toscana if it came down between the two. The pizza itself definitely can rival some of the other pizzas around the area and I would say it was better than most. The crust was flakey and had a nice chew to it, but it also was airy. I would say just eating the crust by itself was a treat. The toppings were minimal, but flavorful. I wouldn't mind just getting a margherita from here (as you should when properly testing out a pizza), but I would say that it was pretty great. A friend that I ate with compared it to the level of Antico's, which I would say is a pretty sound judgment. The size of the pizza is pretty big, with huge slices. My pizza was a bit lopsided? It wasn't circular, but I chalk that up to training? I will probably come back here, due to the distance. Finding special pizzas is tough, but Itala isn't bad. If you're in the neighborhood or close by, definitely come through and try it out. I would come back and try some of their other items on the menu, but I will probably always come out of the place with at least two pizzas. read more

If you work in the surrounding area and need something quick but QUALITY for lunch, do yourself a favor and stop by here for a pizza that they cook in a Woodfire oven to order. They have started to offer personal size pizzas for 9.99 at lunchtime so it is the perfect portion. I got the Bellucci, which had the perfect amount of truffle oil and shiitake mushrooms. I also loved the crust! I wrapped up my lunch with one delicious scoop of gelato. The inside of the restaurant is so clean and spacious there is tons of seating. The workers were so nice, helpful, and accommodating. I hope to see more people in their restaurant! I will be making this a weekly rotation on my lunch breaks from now on. read more

The people there are super nice and helpful. We ordered online and the order was correct and ready when promised. The place itself is consistent with other Antico clones with the picnic tables, gelato, etc. The ingredients also seemed fresh and of high quality. We ordered a margarita, and a sausage/pepperoni along with two of the Italiano salads. For the cost the food was underwhelming. The pizza lacked flavor overall. I would add or increase the use is a good pecorino. Adding this at home helped. Also the crust lacks the flavor of proper fermentation. The salads were mostly just greens. I added some red onion and cucumber at home. There needs to be more in addition to the spring greens. The other ingredients were lost in a sea of green. Total bill was over $60 and probably not quite worth the cost considering the details. They just opened. The pizza here is spectacular, and how quickly the pizza gets to your table is incredible. Our pizzas were ready in what felt like less than 10 minutes. They were very thin with a soft, fluffy crust characteristic of Neapolitan pizzas. We got the Leonardo which was sweet & a little spicy and the Capri Verdure in which the mushrooms, artichoke & cheese worked really well together (this was my favorite of the two). I think the perfect pizza would be the combination of these two's toppings! There's a tray where you can pick up small containers of additional toppings from your usual crushed red pepper flakes and oregano to the not so common basil, spicy oil, and more. You can also scoop marinara sauce from a giant pot to dip your crust in. The restaurant's interior is spacious with picnic tables spread around. Near the front left, there's display cases for the desserts: cakes, cannoli, gelato, and more. In the back behind the counter, you can see the giant wood-fired pizza ovens. The sauce is very fresh, boasting lots of flavor. The fresh mozzarella so good. Everything on the pizza was imported from Italy except the fresh mushrooms. I treated myself to a cannoli.
