A co-worker of mine suggested Napoli 1 for a work dinner and I fell in love with it. It's such an amazing place for some great pizza, salad, and the desserts are divine! It's located in Johns Creek at the corner of Medlock Bridge and Wilson Road. The interior is gorgeous and transports you to Little Italy in my honest opinion. The staff is amazing and always does all they can to ensure your visit is everything you want. They offer guests to bring their own drinks to accompany their dinner, which is a nice option. The hubby and I always order a pizza to share as well as a double salad, and we always leave satisfied with leftovers for another day. One of the freshest pizza doughs I've come across in GA! Definitely the standout of the pizza. Perfect amount of crispness and chewiness. I tried the Toto's pepperoni and Tosca white truffle mushroom pizza. Personal favorite was the Tosca. Ordered Togo, but the inside of the restaurant looked nice and comfortable. This is a Neapolitan Pizza place run by Koreans. It shows that you don't need Authentic Italians to make a mean Neapolitan style pizza. You can be Korean. They have the ovens, the dough, and the ingredients. The place is wide open with a lot of benches for you to sit. You order at the counter, sit, and they bring out the food for you. Everything is open so you can see the pizzaiolo cranking out the pies in their 800++ degree oven. They only have pizza here. Don't expect pasta, wings or what not. They also have salads and some desserts such as gelatos and cakes. The pizza is one size. And you can choose among many variations. I tried their Margherita and Toto's, which is basically a Margherita with pepperoni. Their crust was great. It's a well made Neapolitan style pizza. It's airy, chewy, and crispy. The ingredients are fresh and good. What I liked about Toto's was that the pepperoni was very good. They got some high quality somewhere, and it's one of the better pepperonis I've tasted it. They also aren't afraid to put some color in the crust. I think most people don't like too much charring, but I do like some good char on the crust. It's a delicate balance to be charred but not burnt. Their main competition is Italia Pizza down the road. One of the reasons I like Napoli 1 over Italia Pizza is because Napoli 1 has minced garlic in their condiment area, and Italia Pizza doesn't. Napoli 1 also have chili oils, Parmesan cheese, pepper flakes, and olive oil. Complimentary mineral water is available too. Their salads are good and fresh, but it's just a salad. I'm not a fan of salads anywhere. But since they have no other items on the menu, and I'm ordering 2 pizzas is too much, the salad provides a healthy-ish appetizer while we wait for the pizzas. We also have 2 kids. And they cut the pizzas into smaller slices for them. I think that's a nice touch. Napoli 1 follows the same formula as other Neapolitan pizza places that we've been to over many years. End of the day, they serve great pizza. That's all it matters. read more

I wish they tried harder. I specifically asked that the pizza be crisper on the bottom because the last time it was so soggy I wonder if the even cooked it. When I went to pick the pizza up, soggy. I asked if the could put in back in the oven to finish cooking the dough. The answer came back NO. They had already sliced the pizza. I told the guy, I was not paying for an uncooked pizza and went across the street to Mellow Mushroom. I am extremely disappointed in what they have been reduced to. Fantastic pizza with very fresh pizza dough, housemade marinara sauce "on tap" to ladle onto your pizza or just take shots of, and a bar area with minced garlic, amazing olive oil with garlic inside, calabrian peppers, etc.! The special Inferno pizza was FIRE, but definitely not too spicy. The sopressata, onions, garlic, basil, fresh mozzarella and calabrian peppers sitting on top of their divine marinara sauce hit the spot. Crisp Italian Peroni beer on tap, and a free scoop of gelato (through Yelp checkin) after the pizza. What more could we ask for! read more

We were initally gonna go to Antico's, but my friend said that there is a new pizza place in Johns Creek, so we decided to check it out. Napoli 1 Pizza is located in Johns Creek and honestly can be hard to miss if you're not looking for it correctly. I've lived in Johns Creek for about 8 years of my life, and that plaza was never really popping for some reason. Anyways -- we visited on a Sunday evening and the restaurant was pretty empty. It looks like the place is Korean-owned, which I thought was interesting. An Antico-esque pizza joint owned by an Asian? While I was skeptical, I still wanted to try it out. We ordered the margheritta and a meat pizza (that I forget the name of). The owner lady was very kind in explaining the popular menus to us too. We then got sat -- the interior feels like you're acually in Napoli and they did a really good job of making you feel like you're in Italy. Our pizza came out pretty fast -- what I like about these pizza places is that it's cooked in the oven brick stoves so they pretty much flash cook. The pizzas were pretty generous in portion. We took a bite and was pleased of the taste! I am very picky of the dough in oven brick pizzas and it was perfectly chewy and delicious. The toppings were pretty good, and they also have your oil/chili oil/pepper flakes so you can dip your crust in it too. I personally liked the Margheritta pizza better and it was a great meal! They also sell gelato and I got the pistachio gelato which made it great to get a meal and dessert. We had a great quiet dinner -- this place is definitely a hidden gem in Johns Creek, and I would love to return to Napoli 1 for a dinner again! read more

I've driven past the "best pizza in Johns Creek" banner outside their restaurant hundreds of times, and made a mental note every time. This brick oven pizzeria's menu is simple. They offer pizza, salad, dessert, coffee, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Because of Covid-19, the dining room is closed. However, outdoor seating is available while you wait. I called ahead and ordered two pizzas: Primavera $21 Toto's pepperoni $22 We arrived early and waited on charming outdoor space for a few minutes. The pizzas come in one size only, not quite a large but definitely bigger than a medium pizza. One pizza can feed 2-3 people. My guys shared Toto's pepperoni and still had leftovers. It comes with pepperoni, San Marzano tomato, mozzarella, and basil. My husband mentioned that it was a bit salty, but still thought it was "really good pizza!" The primavera comes with spinach, mushroom, calabrian peppers, ricotta cheese, buffalo mozzarella, chunks of garlic, and parmesan cheese. It was love at first bite! I ate three slices in one sitting and contemplated on eating one more, but controlled the urge. I was glad I saved enough slices for another meal. So much flavor. Excellent dough. This is the best pizza I've ever had. I came here three years ago when I was in Georgia recording a few songs, and the producers took us here. It was absolutely incredible, and the owner Tony was super cool. 3 years later I came back again to record more music, and I was super excited to see if Napoli's held up to my expectations. I was worried I had an unrealistic benchmark I set for how good it was. Nope! It was better. We ordered a Napoli, Toto's, and the truffle one with white sauce (can't remember the name.) my favorite was far and away the Napoli, but all were very good. They also have a bar with cheese and peppers, minced garlic, and marinated garlic in olive oil, as well as more calabrian peppers - AWESOME. The yelp special also offers a free scoop of gelato. Everything was amazing, great pizza place in a nice environment. For such delicious pizza I'm surprised it was so empty, even on a weekend. Will try to frequent more often! read more

We love Napoli 1 it's a close second to our favorite and much closer to our house. The crust, the sauce and the cheese- you can tell it's all imported from Italy. We picked up a Margherita with sausage the other night. It was so delicious! The crust was perfect and toppings were placed well. From reading other reviews...customers need to realize that this isn't your typical pizza from Domino's or even local non chain pizza places. It's gourmet Italian style hence the higher prices. Also, make sure to take advantage of their free extras- spicy oil sauce, freshly shredded Parmesan cheese and chopped garlic. My family loves it finds it worth the extra money. We love dipping our leftover crust in a combo of Balsamic Vinegar and Extra Virgin Olive Oil. read more

The interior is spacious and could fit and relatively large crowd. Besides neapolitan style margherita pizza, there are other options as well with a variety of toppings you can pick from. The menu itself will list out all the specialty pizza. They pair well with a salad if you want some options. All the pizza come in about one size and can shared between 2 people with out any problems. You'll probably have some leftovers too. Price wise, it's kind of up there for pizza similar to Anticos I would say. You pay for the quality and some people who aren't used to the style of pizza might say they don't give you a lot of options or its feels kind of plain so opinions will definitely vary based on your own personal preference. Updated I recently came back to Napoli and glad I did. The experience was much better thanks to the person at the register, Joshua, as well as the young gentleman that brought out our food. They were both very nice. The place wasn't too busy on a Saturday afternoon. We were able to sit at one of the tables outside since we had our pup with us. The outside seating area is great! Love the red tables and chairs. We ordered the pear arugula salad and a pizza. The pear salad was nice and pretty generous portion. Liked the flavor of the pears and they were pretty generous with the fruit per salad ratio. The Napoli pizza was tasty and also loaded up with toppings which was great. The pizza dough was nice too during this recent visit. They also serve gelato. We tried a scoop of the coffee one and it was tasty and creamy. Note- We asked for some extra fresh basil and a small side of marinara. They said that would be at an extra cost for the basil next time when one of the employees checked with the gentleman that was making the pizza. The gentleman making the pizza didn't appear to be the friendliest/warmest. Didn't even crack a smile. Wish they didn't charge extra for that next time as Antico's will always give you some extra basil and fresh/warm marinara sauce on the side if requested for free. When the pie is the price it is, going a little above and beyond is always appreciated and well received. Napoli Pizza is a cute, casual pizza restaurant in Johns Creek. I would definitely say it's comparable to places like Antico's. It's located in a plaza, so parking is easy. When you enter, you order at the register and they bring your pizza to your table. Their menu is separated into red pies and white pies. They have two separate dining areas. The first area is by the entrance where you order, and to me, has a kind of ice cream parlor feel. The other area is dimmed and has bench-like seating. While you wait, you can get any toppings and sauces that you might want (I personally load up on the garlic and marinara). They offer beer and wine, self-serve lemon water, and a self-serve soda fountain. The wait for the pizza isn't bad at all, maybe 10-15 minutes, which flew by since I was loading up on toppings. I personally like the Da Vinci ($21 white sauce pizza) and Toto's Pepperoni ($22 red sauce pizza). Their prices are definitely steep for pizza, but we can feed 5 people with those 2 pizzas, so that's not terrible for a meal out. I like that they have empty pizza boxes around the restaurant, so you can just grab it yourself when you're ready to go. Also, don't forget to check-in on Yelp for a free scoop of their gelato, which is amazing and housemade. Overall, I would definitely recommend Napoli if you're craving pizza and in the John's Creek area. read more

The pictures on Yelp did not really give much assurance, but reading about the Italian ingredient sourcing we wanted to give the local business some rep. Alas, they may have brought everything from the motherland but left the techniques at the port. The dough was hella doughy and can definitely taste the flour. No brick oven smells or marks, just a few surfaces burns here and there. The topping was minimal even for a Neapolitan; the Margherita had 4 pieces of dried-up basil pasted on top of the cheese. Minimal pieces of tomato too. The Inferno was similar but unpleasant porkiness all over pizza, even on the area the soppressata did not touch as its fat melted all over. Definitely need to top with some fresh garlic to chase that funk away. They have the hot chili oil/paste thing the most Napoli pizza places carry, but somehow I could taste those generic Chinese hot sauce paste you see at most American-Chinese restos in the country. The hostess was new and frantic, and that was cute (in a positive way, I swear). Sorry, don't think we will return any time soon, and stick with the one in Alpharetta with additional distance. read more

I am definitely a lover of Naples style pizza and when I saw this spot passing by I had to stop by and give them a try so here's my take: STAFF ISSUES FOR SURE I normally show up expecting the best service and a positive experience. If you know me, I come in asking questions, wanting to talk with management trying to seek some history etc but when I explained that I wanted to talk to someone I was met with an eye-roll from another staffer (who I wasn't talking to directly). the person behind the seemed really uncomfortable answering any questions about the restaurant or the menu. Either way, I ordered since I am familiar with the style. While seated, I tried asking a few other questions but quickly realized that no one was in the mood to talk. I never got to speak to a manager but If my staff were this way, I would probably be hiding in the back as well. ATMOSPHERE The space of this place is great! I love the large tables, decor - everything about it. I was so impressed I tried to talk to a worker about bringing in a group since this seemed like the perfect setup for an event. Unfortunately, the staff told me they don't do events and gave me a number to call a manager in order to set something up whom never answered or replied to my texts- ah well. Either way, if this place was packed out it would be very Italian style whereas you're sharing a table with strangers, meeting new people etc etc. It's a good setup. PIZZA I was already in bad spirits by the time my pizza came out but I gotta say, the pizza here is pretty amazing. They are using 2 wood-carved ovens and are definitely following the Naples style practice of making their pizzas using buffalo mozzarella, San Manzano tomatoes, etc, etc. If you are a lover of Anticos, but happen to live far from one - this is a good alternative. altogether, the pizza really sold me on giving them another try. (been here 3 times now so this review is a collection). I would say if you just want to come in, order your pizza and go - its a great place. What a special treat to find this tasty place in the neighborhood! The restaurant has a huge lot for easy parking, and the restaurant itself is large with a variety of seating options. You order at the counter, and if you are lucky, sit where you can watch them craft your pie and shove it into the large oven. Service was friendly. Seating is mostly at long, shared tables, although there are some smaller tables and even some outdoor seating in the front of the restaurant. While you wait for your pizza, you can nibble on some pizza crusts with olive oil or marinara. We ordered the Da Vinci, a white pizza with arugula and prosciutto. It was outstanding. The toppings were full of flavor, but did not overpower the tasty dough. They have chili oil on the condiment bar that adds some heat if everyone in your party doesn't want it on the pizza. They also served mussels that night, and while we did not have any, they were very popular throughout the restaurant. We finished off the meal with a delightful salted caramel gelato. Yes, the picnic tables are not that comfy and ordering at the register is not ideal but it is what it is and the pizza is delicious.
