Time for an update on my local Glam India. I've been to them all and each is as phenomenal as the…read morelast, but this location is my home base and therefore is most-deserving of an update. I'm ever-impressed with the insanely talented, beautiful women who run this stellar queendom of spas (4 locations across Arlington and Bedford) and the reliable, quality, satisfaction-guaranteed-service they provide. I've never left Glam India unhappy.. I always leave looking and feeling and even smelling better because their products smell so good. I've done a few things here: brow tinting, brow threading, henna, eyelash extensions, an eyelash lift. At this very moment in time I'm au naturel so I'm jealous of my perfectly browed and extra-long-lashed past-self. I need to make an appointment! And I also want to try some new things. Besides what I already listed, Glam India offers a variety of facials, microneedling, dermaplaning, microblading, hair treatments, eyebrow extensions, waxing, and likely more things I'm forgetting.. They happily take walk-ins if there is availability and enough time for whatever service you want, but I recommend booking an appointment online (or you can call). I love every single staff member I've ever met here. These women are kind, skilled, efficient, and professional. The owner, Saleema, has really built an exceptional business and put together the most talented team. If you couldn't tell, I'm a big, big fan. Now please go and treat yourself to a Glam India spa day. PS: Happy International Women's Day!

Bad color experience. My mother went in to get her roots done and left with almost solid black hair…read moreand a chopped haircut. They took her from a level 6/7 to a 4. Looks horrible. She was nice about it and went home and cried. I'm sitting in a different salon with her right now getting a full color correction. Never again.

I've been getting my eyebrows done here for years. I was one of their first customers, and I've…read morealways left happy with my results. This all changed yesterday. I went in to get my eyebrows done and they've completely botched them. The girl that did my eyebrows was not someone that I've met before (probably new) and I didn't get her name. She seemed very pleasant, and I don't find pleasure in writing this review. I've always waxed my eyebrows. They're incredibly thick and if I were to sit in a chair for a threading session, I'd be there for a long and painful time. So I go in and request a wax, sit down in the chair and we get started. When I tell you this girl had no idea what she was doing, I truly mean it. She put scalding hot wax on my eyebrows lid and then let it set for nearly 15 seconds before applying the paper to get rid of the hair. And when it came time for her to rip the paper off, she did just that. Along with my skin. I have burns and skin is missing on my eyelids. She proceeded to RUB my eye lid with force for quite awhile because the wax had adhered itself to my skin, so now it not only hurts like a SOB, it's swollen. Now all of this I can kind of forgive, but then two other salon stylists get involved and attempt to gaslight me into saying it's MY FAULT for the damage to my skin as I have sensitive skin. Again, I've been going to this salon since it opened. I'd say since 2018 at LEAST and this has never once happened to me. My sensitive skin is not at fault for someone not knowing what they're doing. On top of all of this, one eyebrow is MUCH smaller than the other and they were hardly cut back. Typically this is something that happens before you start yanking hair off. So now I have busy, but thin eyebrows. No $27 gift certificate will ever bring me back here again.
