Seen they were having another sale on the estatesales app in Bowie, MD and decided to check it out. Very friendly employees and even greeted me upon entering. I had been to two of their prior sales. One of them was a massive mansion in Chevy Chase and the other a victorian house in Bethesda. At the Chevy chase sale I must have spent a little over $500+ on various luxury furniture items which would have cost a fortune in the high end stores and also purchased a couple of small items like books and stuff. The guy running the sale I forgot his name but he gave me a awesome deal on the stuff. Also even help me load the small stuff in my car. Had to call a buddy with a pickup truck to haul the furniture items. At the Bethesda I purchased a diamond ring for a girl I was planning on marrying which didn't work out. I didn't want to continue the relationship. So I took it to a jewelry store to get it cleaned and polished and they said I got a good deal on it so I'm still happy. I can always get it resized for the next fiancé. Lol. The Bowie sale I just purchased a few silver coins. I would advise everyone come early to these guys sales. The Chevy Chase sale had a massive line of people waiting but they were letting like 30 people in at a time. They tend to get the big houses and mansions with the rare and awesome stuff so I definitely recommend checking out their sales. Only downfalls is parking can be a little tricky due to the massive crowds of their sales. But with any estate sale I always go early. Also some of the other customers get a little crazy at the sales because of the rare stuff people find. Overall A+++++ read more

Other reviewers are wholly correct on how potential buyers are treated. If you value informative interactions or basic respect, I'd look for other options. There's no shortage of estate sales in the area. read more

Disorganized, overpriced and rude. Will avoid this companies estate sales in the future.

Just an amazing experience. Working with Darren was such a pleasure! He is fast, efficient and gets the job done!

Great customer service and they always have interesting sales! They always have unique stuff and good deals! Great company.

Totally dishonest. They posted pictures of a non existent sale. I had reached out to them for A estimate go do the sale. I chose someone else. They posted my sale and pictures on their website! When I reached out to him to ask him why he had done this he called me a " nut job". Stay away at all costs read more

iStuffSellers - Pictures from our home - Estate Liquidation Near Me

When we downsized from a large suburban home to much smaller apartment, we put much of our furniture into "deep storage" at our movers' warehouse. As we're now preparing to relocate out of state, we decided to liquidate the furniture we haven't been using in our apartment. IStuffSellers agreed to pick up our items from the warehouse and auction what could be sold, donate what could not be sold, and dispose of what was left. Darren Hahnfeld was a dream to work with - clearly communicated their process and followed up quickly after our auction with a check for the proceeds. I was delighted to find a service that could do an estate sale this way, since we no longer had a house from which to conduct a sale. IStuffSellers did a great job and we highly recommend them! read more

Darren and the entire team was a pleasure to work with throughout this entire estate sale process. Through multiple sales events, they maximized the sale of even more trivial clothing and gear. They strive to maximize the overall estate value! read more

Darren and his team are AMAZING! I live 4 hours away from the property yet this was no issue for Istuffsellers. They catalogued, photographed and staged all of my moms belongings, and boy was there A LOT! I was so impressed by the hard work that went into this Estate Sale. Darren went above and beyond for me and I will always be indebted to him for all his help. After the sale, the house was left impeccably clean. I really am impressed and you will be too. They are worth every penny. You don't realize just how much work goes into these sales until you see these guys in action. Thank you Istuffsellers, you guys ROCK!!!!!!! read more

I highly recommend " I Stuff Sellers" they did an amazing job for my mothers estate sale and final clean out. when they finished the house was empty and vacuumed. We did the final clean and listed the house. We received our funds from the estate sale and donation slips the following week. Darren and his staff are very helpful answering all my questions and very professional. read more

The owner of this company is Horrible. I had contacted him well over a. month ago to get some information about doing an estate sale. I had sent him pictures of the interior of the home, so that he would have an idea about what we would be selling. He was a great salesperson, but at the end of the day we chose another company. I let Daren (the owner) know that I was not going to move forward with his company . We did have our estate sale mid November. Imagine my surprise this morning when I found an ad advertising our estate sale for January 2021! It was listed on an Estate sale finders website using the photos that I had sent him earlier in the process. I immediately contacted him and hours later received a text back saying he had no idea who I was or what I was talking about. Confusing? Yes....The text abruptly ended when he called me a "NUT CASE". I have read other reviews about him and I can tell you that I would never, ever recommend this company to anyone. read more

My estate sale with iStuffSellers was a success! From my first meeting with owner, Darren, I found the expertise and professionalism I had been looking for. I was first sold by reputation, confidence, not requiring a minimum payment, and importantly that Darren is a certified appraiser. Was sold again later by performance, often above and beyond. Darren is a pleasure to work with, he knows his stuff, my stuff, and how to sell stuff. Darren, Jinny and the team set up the house beautifully and price-tagged all items. Advertising had been so extensive there were people waiting at the door from day one. I, eight hundred miles away, was updated with pictures, texts, daily results and even a few fun videos of folks enjoying it all. After the sale the team cleaned my house and appropriately dealt with unsold items. About a week later I received by mail the inventory list of items sold and a nice check - what could be better? I highly recommend iStuffSellers as a company that works diligently and effectively to achieve the best possible result for all concerned. As a retired educator, A+. read more

This company is awesome... imagine shopping in and about the most beautiful model homes and saving money on the most exquisite or essential items. Whether you are shoppng for an estate or need to liquidate its assets, Istuffsellers gives the most most bang for the smallest buck and vice versa. They price and tag everything and the workers are vigilant and ready to assist. I enjoyed myself and got some good items!! read more

I'll begin by saying that the staff at this company is very good. No complaints. I, however, do not like the owner. He is rude. While in line purchasing a few things at the sale today, two people in front of me negotiated the price with him. When I asked to pay $20 with cash for items totaling $22, I was met with "no". He then asked me what item did I want to pay full price for? Puzzled, I left, vowing to avoid this company's sales in the future. The prices are entirely too high for used items and, in my opinion, if the seller wants to sell the entire contents of their home, they need to know that this gentleman will turn people away, rather than do the job of negotiating and trying to get secure the sale. He went as far as complaining to another staff member about a customer in front of me (a customer). I will avoid this company's estate sales in the future. read more

They will talk a great game when you meet them but after, they will be rude when you are unhappy. In between, they are hard to reach and do a lousy job marketing, presenting and selling. I would never use them again and I am really sorry we used them this time. ... Ten months after posting this review and complaining to them directly, they post this insulting and untrue reply. This should tell you all you need to know about who you are considering. read more

Darren and Ginny with iStuffSellers did a GREAT job with the estate sale. They worked LONG hours to make sure everything was set up properly. On the day of the sales, there were plenty of people coming in. I was very happy with the final amount that I received and I know Darren and Ginny worked 10x as much for this. I really applaud them. I have recommended them to all my neighbors and friends. read more

Beware! These people have no idea what they are doing. They grossly overprice junk and underprice good stuff because they can't seem to tell the difference. I am a regular estate sale shopper and I've also run them, so I know how to tell the good from the bad. These people price sets of cheap glasses and dishes and silverware and bookends by the piece. Who does that??? Just because it's called an "estate sale" doesn't mean your potential buyers are fools. And you need to remember that an estate sale is just a glorified yard sale. To maximize the value of an estate, make sure you go with an experienced and reputable estate sale company who understands that the only way to maximize sales AND get the house cleaned out is to price things reasonably in the first place. Otherwise they're just giving things away at the end of the sale or throwing stuff away. Homeowners can only lose from this approach. read more

Darren did a great job!! We were selling a lifetime of collectibles and all of our home furnishings. We had also recently moved out of state. Everything was handled without a problem! At a sale in Leesburg, VA over the weekend we negotiated a bulk price for me to buy up all of some remaining books. I went out back to grab a couple power cords and the gentleman and gal working the cash register reneged on the agreement. I walked away and didn't buy any more. That is poor business practice, and I won't be visiting any more of your auctions. read more

Darren and his crew did a fantastic job! They helped me sell almost everything in my mother's house and then finished cleaning it out to be ready to go on the market. They maximized profit. We could not be happier with iStuffSellers. 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!!!! read more

Darren and team did a tremendous job in managing and executing our estate sale with maximum results. They were priced competitively and were very accommodating. Darren was very professional and gave me the appraisals I needed for probate and supporting documents in a timely manner. He comes to your location making the entire process seamless at a very good rate. He was much less expensive than many other appraisers I had contacted. Horrible experience! At checkout today, for a $6 item, where there were two price tags, one which had halfway come off and was illegible and the other fully on and fully legible, when my mom was asking the gentleman at checkout how much the price would be with today's advertised discount (20%) and the gentleman was punching it in the calculator to give us a final price, a rude employee while squatting in the back on her legs, interrupted the conversation and yelled out loud that she already told my mom the price is $6 and that my mom tried to take the price tag off and switch it from another price tag! We were appalled! Earlier my mom hadn't noticed the second sticker so had genuinely tried to figure out the price of that item by pointing out the illegible sticker to her. While the gentleman at checkout was fully aware of the situation and the wrong done to us by his employee, all he chose to do was to continue the conversation with my mom and just ignore the rude employee. I'm sure she's done and said many ridiculous acts like this before. He acted like her craziness is just normal. We were appalled! As if it should be a regular, casual occurrence to go accusing your customers of such horrendous and ridiculous things! He immediately owed us an apology for his employee raising her voice and accusing us of something horrendous but also he should have made her apologize to us as well. Her behavior is inexcusable and unacceptable. I sincerely hope others speak up regarding their experiences as I'm sure it's not her first time causing such a scene so that they appropriately lose business over their unprofessionalism. read more

Just had an unpleasant experience trying to work with this company. Very poor customer service - no one ever picks up the business phone. I had about 20% of an entire household of antique items from the 50's and 60's that is worth quite a bit of money (I did my homework and research before reaching out to them). The person that returned by call at 8:30pm was very encouraging and said they would help me sell my items and to text them pictures and details which I did on July 2nd. Did not hear back at all till I texted them back this morning after which the exact text response was "not enough for us to work with". Not understanding exactly what this meant -not enough details, need better pictures, my item is not worth enough?? I decided to text and ask back "do you need more pics? I know the Noritake Sorrento 95pc set in pristine condition is worth over $500?" Second text response "no that's ok -thank you". Still not sure which it was. Just a sour dismissive experience all in all. Would have been nice to get a phone call explaining why they did not want my business after sounding so encouraging during the 1st phone call. I would have been okay with them not wanting just a few hundred dollars of my business but really disappointed with the way this was handled. If anyone has any recommendations of where else I can sell fine china, Waterford crystal, oil wick lamps, silver flatware etc I would really appreciate it. Thank you.. read more

Have been to a few sales by iStuffSellers and the prices are way overpriced for most estate, moving, an downsizing sales. Many items are at or close to retail prices. Would make this rating as zero stars but does not seem like you can. Will not go to another sale hosted by iStuffSellers. read more

I have been to tons of estate sales over the years and have seen the good, the bad and everything in between! Istuffsellers definitely ranks among the best. They consistently offers sales that are well worth going to and their staff is always helpful and pleasant to do business with. I love that they are super organized and set up for credit cards or cash, with every single item priced so I'm not chasing down a worker trying to find out how much something costs. The only downside of these sales is they can get REALLY BUSY! So plan on getting there right when the doors open. read more

iStuffSellers is an outstanding company. I developed a relationship with Darren, the owner. He is a nice guy. He did a quality, professional Estate Sale for me, in Frederick, Maryland, even though it was a little out of his territory. I was the first Estate Sale he did during the Corona Virus pandemic. He really knows how to run an Estate Sale, even during the Corona Virus pandemic. He has been in the business a long time. He is licensed and insured. You can trust him. He finds everything is your house, sorts, prices, and displays it like you would in a store. He researches your stuff, if he does not the price, so it is priced according market. He knows how to market your stuff. He has a network of people who he notifies on upcoming Estate Sales. He market extensively on the Internet. I chose him especially because he is a licienced precous metal dealer. He gave me top dollar for my stuff, and he really helped me after the Estate Sale for large items that didn't sell (we sold them). He offers cleanup and disposal of your stuff that is your left over unwanted stuff after the sale. I recommend him highly. Get iStuff Sellers to do your Estate Sale. You will be pleased. read more

This company manages estate sales, and unlike others we talked to, only charges a reasonable percentage of sales without any setup fees or other nonsense. They were on time for every appointment, delivered paperwork as promised, and were honest and upfront about everything, and did a very nice job managing the estate sale for my in-laws. I certainly appreciated the work they did for us and would happily recommend them to others. read more

Went to their sale today in Arlington last of 3 day sale on 7-1-18. Alot of belongings still unsold even though sign said 50% off. I witnessed this weekend a glass shelving unit shatter and fall to the floor at an estate sale in Va. The men in charge immediately blamed a poor woman who was standing near it, and shouted at her that she owed them money. Never once asking if she was ok.
