Found this storage location and it seemed like a really good option. When we first were assigned a unit, it was not cleaned out and there was oil on the ground from a vehicle. We needed to change units since we were going to store furniture and boxes in ours and didn't want the oil seeping into our stuff. Initially the offer seems really good--one month free and then $179/month for an 8x25' unit. Then, 2 days shy of our SECOND month, they raised the rent to $214, a 20% INCREASE! Wow. That's outrageous! So don't be fooled by the "one month free!" because you'll pay for it. We won't be staying long and I hope you consider other storage options unless you want your monthly rate to be increased regularly. Very disappointing. read more

In early 2024 I stored some of my household belongings in here because I was moving states and needed some place to store some of them. That I was unable to take, and I was asked to leave a $40 deposit in case of any damage to the unit....now when I went back to retrieve my things with the help from my sister and a family friend. The things that bugged me was that when I left to go and run a quick errand why they stayed there to finish taking things out. The employee asked them if I was exiting. They said yes but what bugged me was that the employee didn't check in with ME. The person who was renting the unit! Now fast forward to when I got back and and I'm taking in my things out my sister called her friend to help put something's that didn't fit into her car. When I used my code it didn't let them in. When I went into the office and asked I was met with the rudest employee. She gave me attitude and could not get my name right. I don't know if it was the way I was dressed (I had a black long sleep and blue jeans) but for some reason she felt entitled be rude and stuck up. To which I returned her attitude back at her. Now when she had figured out that I was in fact the person renting the storage space her attitude changed. And had used her code to let the car in. Finally after fitting everything into the cars and as I left to go get the deposit they made me pay. They claimed to "we never have taken deposits." When I vividly remember one of the managers (I believe her name was Pamela) asking for a deposit for any possible damages to the unit. Now seeing as I had no receipt to prove the deposit. Notified that my rent is raised over 8% after just 5 months. Inquired before renting how often rent was raised and was told something like "varies for each unit, she'd seen sometimes 6 months, sometimes several years, really no way to know". That should have been a red flag but I am out of state and this facility is conveniently located to family, so I rented anyways. Don't recommend. read more

I used the storage unit for about 5 months, very clean facility & great security. Lori the sight manager was very friendly, always available to answer any questions, if missed call she calls back as soon as possible. If i had to use a storage again i would definitely try renting here again. Thank you for making sure my item's where safe Btw: she does not allow any one that isn't on the contract into the storage, i had my brother help me empty thw storage unit, he got there before me & lori called me immediately. Well, it was not the facility I had made the reservation at; however, Tammi who was working at the moment, took the time to help me locate the correct facility. She even went out of her way to call. I had a very positive experience at this facility because of the manager Lori. I was actually quite impressed with her honesty and integrity not only as management but as an individual. Storage pro is lucky to have her and I know,believe me how difficult it would be to even be lucky enough to have an employee such as her. I recently moved to the area & needed to find local, decently priced storage and quickly! Thank the heavens this place was listed at the top and while not many reviews all rated top quality, so I hauled on over and was graciously helped by Mary. Wonderfully patient, explained all discounts & pricing and gave a quick tour. Hannigan's takes Fort Knox to heart & everything is secured tighter than a drum 24/7. All locks even have their yellow logo stickers to make sure no unit is broken into. I'm also very glad to only have needed a small one-cheaper than I'd anticipated! I wish I was able to find another storage facility when I needed to store my large home furniture and appliances when I moved. Unfortunately they were all occupied. I know why now. Storage Pro has to be the most expense storage facility amongst many in the area. Nice, and clean unit, and very professional manager and employees but way overpriced. (More than my last car payment) Not the managers fault I'm pretty sure...... I wish other local places were available and I wasn't against a crunch time to move from my home, I definitely would've chosen and moved all of my things into another business. Prices just took a hike too. Maybe it's the way the Storage Pro chain operates and they don't have to be competitive - it's a real shame (sham?). But the staff is nice and Laurie the current manager, is terrific - Hannigan's / Storage Pro is very lucky to have her. Not sure how long I can afford it but I'm stuck until rent & housing prices are more affordable. I really, really, dislike having to post negative feedback about this business. I have had my storage there for over a year. The property is well maintained and starting rent prices are not bad. Security cameras are placed in specific locations and the gates close to all use at certain times. Which provides better security. I love the fact that Lori calls within your ten day grace pay period to remind you that your payment is due to avoid late fees. Be aware that rent prices do go up about 7 dollars per year. I never received a notice about the rent raise and they waived my fee for the month until I received notice. The people are very polite and helpful here. read more

When I called around to numerous storage facilities in Hollister I was getting nowhere. Then I spoke to Lori at Hannigan's and she was the best! She really knew her business, the rates, sizes of units available and was willing to stay a little late if I needed more time to get there after work. I was sold! Once I got there her customer service continued to be awesome and she walked me through the renting process, billing and gave me a tour of the facility. Mary was extremely friendly at Hannigans Mini Storage and even offered my husband a beverage while he waited . Cheapest boxes in town!!

I stored my entire house hold there as well as things from a child of mine that had passed away and EVERYTHING was covered in mold an the owner was contacted and came and tried to wipe the mold off an tell me that it was still ok to use. Owner did not want to help out or pay any money to help get some things back for my house. I wouldnt store my things here unless you want them destroyed and nothing done about it.
