My first meal in Paris (this time around) and it got the job done.
I was sitting in my hotel trying to figure out what to eat. Having not been in a predominantly non-English speaking environment in a while, my anxiety grew the more researched. So, I just went out for a walk and came across Istanbul Grill.
It smelled good and it's food that I'm relatively comfortable with. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was pretty good. I finished everything but the mutton; not a fan. I was surprised to get, what I believe is, sorghum instead of rice. It was a pleasant surprise. In fact, I now plan to use it in my own cooking.
