It's a Kurdish restaurant in a gritty part of Paris that sells dürüm wraps, which are essentially a Turkish street food made by rolling soft flatbread around grilled meat and fresh vegetables. After a rough first meal in the City of Light that was a €50 half chicken, my soul needed this. Everything is made to order right in front of your face, and it SHOWS. We went with a chicken and a beef durum that ran €9.50, which gave my Chase Sapphire Preferred card a much needed breather. I'm struggling to find adjectives that describe how good this soft flatbread was, and I'm rarely at a loss for words. The best I can come up with is "tangibly fresh." I preferred the beef to the chicken, as it almost melted in your mouth. So damn tender. Whenever anyone asks me for a Paris rec, Urfa Dürüm will be right near the top of my list. Mixed Skewer Plate (18 euros) - This came with kafta kabob (spiced ground beef), boneless chicken kabob, lamb kabob, shirazi salad, eggplant, hummus, and some pita bread. Each of the grilled kabobs was so flavorful and juicy. My favorite was the juicy and flavorful kafta kabob. The shirazi salad was fresh while the hummus and eggplant dips were just middle of the road. The pita bread served here is the store bought variety. Kibbeh ($9) - I always enjoy these fried football shaped croquettes, and the ones here didn't disappoint in terms of taste and consistency. The outer shell is made of bulgur wheat while the inside consists of a spiced minced meat. Overall the food tasted great, however the size of everything here is about 30% less than what I would have expected. The kabobs are so much smaller as are the kibbeh compared to portions in the U.S.. Bottled water is about 6 euros, so be sure to ask for tap water instead. This place is on the pricier side, however it's a great place to get one's Lebanese fix. All the food served here is halal.

For starters, we got their tabbouleh, stuffed grape leaves, and the pita with cheese and peppers. We had the chicken shawarma for an entree - stellar. Tender, well-seasoned. Not a single complaint.
