We set an appointment with this company for an urgent home repair. Even though we had several phone…read moreconversations and text messages the day before (and even the MORNING OF) the appointment, he waits until the day of the appointment, after he was already late to decide to cancel entierly. The first problem is we needed to cancel plans to make sure we were at the house waiting for him, only for him to let us know after he was already late that he wasn't coming. Secondly, he was very rude, " You know... if I don't get this job I'm charging you still." I had no problem with our interactions before, it seems he just got lazy and didn't want to follow through with the job. The problem is he didn't care that he made 4 or 5 people wait for him and cancel plans for him to not even show. I even texted him hours beforehand to make sure he was still coming. UGH! sooooo unprofessional.

We needed this job done within the week. Chris was prompt in answering our request for service on Yelp, he gave me a round about estimate and after seeing the job in person, he was very close to his phone estimate which was a very good price. Chris showed up on time as well as being extremely courteous, organized & professional. He started and finished the job in one day and did a great job. I only wish we had hired him to do our kitchen renovation because I know it would have turned out beautifully. We really appreciated your great pricing and professionalism. Thanks Chris.

The new closet looks like it was originally built with the home! Jesus Edwin Peña DID NOT START WORK UNTIL April 7 2025 ALMOST 3 MONTHS LATER! He originally told me the project would be completed within 8-10 weeks! As of October 20 2025 the project I hired Jesus Edwin Peña to do is about 98% finished! Throughout this project we were living out of the garage as our whole entire house was dismantled!! WE DID NOT EXPECT THIS TO GO ON FOR 9 MONTHS! NOT ONE TIME did Jesus Peña work a 40 hour work week or did any of his employees ! If his employees did showed up they were only at my home for a few hours & in most cases did NOTHING! Jesus even asked me to pay his SUB CONTRACTOR $2,000 otherwise his electrician wouldn't come back over to finish because Jesus Edwin Peña was not paying him! Jesus Edwin Peña never showed up on scheduled inspection days instead choosing to have his employee be here to interact with the city inspector causing us to fail many inspections! If & when Jesus Edwin Peña would answer his phone or even show up at my house after days & weeks with no work being done I would express my frustration with his INCOMPETENCE & FAILURE TO COMPLETE THIS PROJECT IN A TIMELY MANNER! I checked his contractor license before I hired him & decided to check it again & it is CURRENTLY SUSPENDED! I made a complaint with the California State licensing board and with his bond insurance company. I am a very easy going guy & I was very patient with Jesus Edwin Peña but he REFUSED TO CHANGE HIS WAY THROUGHOUT THIS PROCESS! HOPEFULLY I SUMMED UP MY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE SO NO ONE ELSE HAS TO GO THROUGH THIS!!
