Good ambiance and very nice customer service. Connected with the old wrestling team from high school and had a great time. The drinks and food were well priced. I snagged a few of their different wings and really enjoyed them - would drop back in if in the area

The service was 10/10 The food was amazing. Had a loco moco, pain killer and Mexican candy shot. My new favorite place in Stockton!!

This was my first time to this restaurant/bar. The bartender was a cool guy and took time to get to know me he seemed interested in what brought me in and what I did in Stockton. The vibe was pretty chill with some Hawaiian music going on in the background. I went with the chicken teriyaki and the garlic edamame. Both were very good. The chicken teriyaki came out, very fresh and hot from the kitchen. I had the edamame for an appetizer, and that was equally as fast . There is tons of room for people in this establishment, and it looks like they have a stage for music. I would definitely come back.

This place is lit! I was very excited to try this new spot out and it did not disappoint! We arrived about 6:30 and got seated right away even though there was 2 large parties already in full swing. The inside is pretty spacious but there aren't a lot of tables I think to leave room for dancing. However, the bar is long with lots of seating. For starters we ordered the spam musubi and salt and pepper wings. Spam musubi was good but the wings were on point! Served hot and crispy with sliced jalapeños on top-delicious. For dinner my man ordered the short rib plate and my son and I split the sesame chicken. Each entree came with rice and macaroni salad. Take note-it's Hawaiian style macaroni salad so it has tuna in it and that is not stated on the menu. I'm glad I asked when our meals arrived because my bf hates seafood of any kind and it would have been all bad had he tried it, lol. Short ribs were grilled and very flavorful but the sesame chicken was slightly over cooked and and a little tough. Had it not been for that, it would have been good. As for drinks, my bf stuck to Lagunitas but I tried a pina colada and it was DELICIOUS! Last but not least, our server and the bartenders were all super friendly and totally on top of it. The DJ and music was fire and the place was packed by the time we left. Long story short...we had a blast.

I was skeptical about this place but it is a safe place on Miracle Mile. Tell your hostess that she is da bomb. A keeper at best. This place is legit to throw parties. A place to mingle

Visited on a Saturday night with my partner and we were seated right away. We went around 8p and they had great music and vibes. Very clean establishment and the food was amazing. Unfortunately we did not have cocktails this time ask us but we look forward to coming back to try drinks. When we were leaving security was arriving (a good thing for Stockton evenings) and there is plenty of parking close by!

I was really excited to hear about this place opening up here on the Miracle Mile. It is brand new and they just celebrated their Grand Opening a few weeks ago. They have a great bar and selection of cocktails that can take you to Hawaii. Plus, the food is tasty and variety of items from appetizers to full rice plates. Plus, they have Happy Hour with $5 appetizers and $8 cocktails from the Happy Hour menu. On the weekend they have DJs and music (I haven't been on the weekend yet). Stop by for a great place to hang out with good vibes!

I was introduced to this bar/lounge/restaurant by the owner's brother. We walked in when they had their grand opening and boy the place was packed! We were able to have a few of their signature drinks and also ordered the garlic edamame appetizer and let me say, that was really delicious! The garlic sauce was amazing and I wish they would make a shrimp plate with that sauce as it is tasty. We tried to head in there another time but they were super busy, having some sort of event as there was a band playing at the back of the place and we just weren't dressed properly for the evening. I figured they wouldn't be too busy but I was wrong. This evening (6/24/23) though was a different story. We were 30 minutes early because I thought they opened at 4:30 pm because when you look up Islander's business hours on Google it states 4:30 pm but they actually opened up at 5 pm. We took a walk around the block and got something to drink from Starbucks and once it was 5 pm we walked back in. It looked like they were getting ready to have another event that evening but fortunately for us it wasn't till later. We sat down and the guy at the bar sat us, took our orders, and checked in on us from time to time. He basically did every single job at the place besides make the food! He was very attentive and that was great. The menu variety is small however all the entrees sounded good. We started out with an order of the Gyoza and the garlic edamame and those two appetizers were very good. The gyoza was perfectly pan fried and not overly cooked and the gyoza sauce was the correct sauce and not just soy sauce like how GK Mongolian BBQ gives you. I ordered the classic chicken katsu plate and it did not disappoint. I liked the fact that this establishment uses actual katsu sauce instead of the sweet ketchup tangy sauce other Hawaiian bbq places use. I wasn't a fan of the mac salad though. I've had some very good ones so when it comes to the mac salad, I'm very picky on the taste and texture. My girlfriend ordered the Korean short ribs (kal-bi) and that was very tasty. The meat was tender and not tough. The only dish I didn't find all that interesting was the teriyaki chicken plate. It seemed like something that would be out of a pre made chicken teriyaki bowl. The sauce just wasn't that great especially over the rice. I ordered one of their cocktails, the Hawaiian Sunset, that was made by the bartender/server/host (lol), and that was very good! If you have visited Hawaii in the past, and you like the local cuisine, this place has some of the local favorite entrees on the menu. Enjoy a cocktail or two and you just might get to enjoy one their live events happening. I will definitely have to come back in the evening to see what their nightlife is like on the weekends. Overall, an easy place to come and hang out at and their food an drink menu isn't overwhelming so it's easy to pick something out. Great service and good food, what else is there to ask? Stop on by!

What a fun local spot! One of my best Jenns text me- like "Hey! Neon Radio" will be at Islanders tonight. 80's music, wanna go?" Um, YES!!!! I'm pretty disappointed in myself because I didn't even know this gem was just a few miles from home. We were welcomed by Jerry. SUPER nice guy with an excellent memory because he recognized that he went to high school with my sister. We were given a great table in the middle on the place were we could see the band, the bar and close proximity to their unique bathroom. My best Jenns were already waiting for us with DELICIOUS garlic edamame. Holy smokes. I ate all of their order and then ordered my own and ate all of those . They also ordered egg rolls that they loved and another friend ordered LocoMoco and hot dog! Or hamburger- it was beautiful and SO delicious. We stated off our drink quest with some AMF's (Audios MoFo), I had 2 delicious MaiTais that challenge my love for the Maitai's of Monkey Pod in the Hawaiian islands. We also had a delicious shot that i cannot recall the name of. Over all- we had a freakin great time. We ran into a ton of people that we knew, one of which was singing in the Neon Radio band. Duran Duran, Madonna, Bono Jovi, Heart- YES PLEASE! We enjoyed the atmosphere. Parking was easy. Our waitress was superb and there was never a time when she wasn't right on top of everything. I can't wait to go back! Thanks so much for the hospitality, Jerry!

There is a parking lot at the back of the restaurant which is where this bar is located. It's a close-knit bar, but it does get a decent amount of people inside! The drinks are delicious. I highly recommend Jalapeño Business (mezcal or tequila, cucumber, jalapeño, agave, fresh squeezed lime). SO refreshing with a chamoy tajin rim. I also enjoyed The Nightcap (vodka, bailey's, cold brew, coffee liqueur). The bartender was very friendly and made the drinks quickly! You can also order food (since it's connected to a restaurant), and we ordered gyoza and shrimp tempura which came out piping hot and were both delicious. Definitely stop by if you're looking for a chill bar to get a drink, it is a small space so just be aware your conversations can easily be heard by others. Not a problem if you're friendly though!

Every time I think that I've reviewed this place I find out there one isn't there. I'm not sure…read morewhat's going on with this one but here goes. Very disappointing experience when we came for a friend's birthday. Looking at the pics this place appears to be a very cute speakeasy and when you enter you find that to be true. They have a few cocktails that are pretty creative like my favorite, their clarified fruity pebbles cocktail. We all got cocktails and only about 1/2 of the drinks were really appreciated. Anyway, what held them back here was definitely the food. I'll start off by saying that yes we had a light dinner of sushi prior to making our way over. So keeping that in mind, we still had the idea of getting some small bites. We didn't want to over commit so we started with what I believe was the Grilled Peach Burrata. Now if we are going purely off flavors, it wasn't bad and it was a cute pairing of ingredients for what sounded like a great bite. On first bite we found this to be a horrendous dish. At first we thought, there's no way the bread was really THAT stale and hard. We thought there's no way that it could be every single piece that was that inedible. We were sorely mistaken. When I tell you that little crostini was hard and stale I'm telling you this thing was so terribly stale that we immediately thought of how disappointed we were in coming here and that we would NEVER consider coming back again. As for the service we remember it being a tad underwhelming as well but not terrible. The only thing that in my mind keeps me from rating them a 1, and I don't do that almost ever, is that my cocktail was just my style. I'm an old fashioned kind of guy but I also love the cute, creative and sweet cocktails as well. This fruity pebbles cocktail also came topped with sort of a Rice Krispie style fruity pebbles treat that I absolutely loved. After ordering a 2nd one however I found that they are not very consistent with their drink preparations as the 2nd one just wasn't as good. The ratio of whatever they put in there just seemed off. I'll finish off by saying that I so desperately wanted this place to be good. Was it an off night? Is this just their level of execution? Who is to say. Maybe one day I'll feel inclined to give them another chance but who knows. I have also heard that they did a lot of revamping so maybe things are looking up now.
