If you visit the islands and enjoy eating where the locals do, this is the restaurant you want to try. Jamaican food is very flavorful and Island Vybz is like eating at a local Jamaican restaurant. I went with the fried chicken, while hubs chose the jerk chicken, the dishes were served with plantains, cabbage, and peas and rice. Great food and portions were huge, we took half our meal home. The menu offers traditional favorite dishes like curry, oxtails and jerk chicken. The rice and pigeon peas made me think I was back in the islands. The service is good with a clean and pleasant environment and prices are reasonable. This restaurant serves tasty and filling Jamaican food and we look forward to returning for another visit. I'm currently living in the desert and often find myself missing the classic Caribbean comfort foods of my childhood, so when I was back east to see family for a few days, Island Vybz was at the top of my to-do list. Their fried plantains, veggies and rice and peas are ON POINT. There's something so satisfying about these core staples done right, and Island Vybz does them RIGHT. This isn't to take away from the main dishes, both the curry chicken and jerk chicken were fantastic, and portions are generous. It was probably enough to split between two, but I preferred to save my own leftovers for lunch the next day. The also have a nice selection of soft drinks, including caribbean sodas (Vitamalt, anyone? Or maybe a Ting?) and my travel partner said the beef patty was the best he'd had (though he's from the Midwest). The restaurant is bright, clean and brings the Island vibes for sure, with a cute bar, with a decent selection of beer and sodas. I think we had takeout twice in the 5 days I was in town, and I plan to do the same next time I'm around. They answer the phone promptly and had everything ready quickly. Staff was always friendly, courteous, and welcoming. The only room for improvement I could see is swapping out the styrofoam for something more sustainable/body-safe. I ordered 3 oxtail dinners to go 1/20/25 after 40 minutes in traffic getting home. after opening my dinners I realized there were beef neck bones so disappointing we come to Naples Florida every year from Las Vegas Nv. I always go there for the oxtails, never again. Unfortunately the vibes were negative not as friendly as in past. Yaaaaaaaaassssssssss!!!!! Finally!! As the a member of the TRINI delegation -I am here to give a the full stamp of approval to this cuisine! Finding good authentic Caribbean food in SWFL is next to impossible! I usually get my fix when I go to the east coast...BUT God has chosen to bring some reeeeaaaallll flavor to Naples! We went in an had the jerk chicken, brown stew chicken and the curry chicken. Delicious, filling, flavorful & washed down with Kola champagne drink to wash it down. It came with peas and rice, plaintains, and mixed vegetables. The service was great-ordering was seamless and they were friendly. The owner (I assume) came to ask how we liked our meal. The place had good seating inside and outside. Generous with portions, generous with the sauce and the meat helping...be prepared to get ya fingers dirty and meat falling off the bone.(I hope they will consider bringin an Agee or auntie to add some roti, Chana and Saheena to the menu ...this Trinidadian would be forever grateful!! ) nevertheless I will be coming back and sharing the love for others to enjoy this amazing cuisine!! read more

Staff and food is outrageously off the charts amazing!!! This place deserves all the love it gets, my only thing is they give you a ton of rice with your food, I would rather have a whole jerk chicken with a few sides, I don't need all that rice, especially when sharing dishes, but it's a fantastic perfect island food place! read more

Island Vybz I called to ask if they had ackee and saltfish on a Monday night for Tuesday they said it's only served on a Saturday and I said I was leaving Florida before then and they said no problem come in tomorrow will make it for you and I did and it was fabulous. Island Vybz is a little gem tucked away behind Publix on Collier and Immokalee. I'm always open to trying new foods; and this unassuming Jamaican place was inexpensive and yet surprisingly very good. I ordered the jerk pork and it came with rice, cabbage, and plantains. Very tasty! And the portions are huge that I thought I was taking home a 7lb newborn. Yesterday I picked up food for the first time here. Small restaurant and it appeared to be family owned. Often these are my favorite type of places. I was not disappointed. I ordered two plates to go (jerk chicken and stewed chicken). Both came with rice and peas mixed, plantains, and a small salad. The jerk sauce came on the side; it was mild but had a lot of flavor. Both dishes were outstanding. The rice and plantains were good too. We had a beef patty and a curry chicken. Again they were great. The portions were a good size. I will definitely go back.
