The place is a little hard to find as it is in a nondescript building - looks almost like a company instead of a retail store. Once you venture in though you are greeted with a collection of this and that for autos but the fastest and easiest way is just to ask the guys behind the counter as most of the items are in their warehouse behind them. Once we got the preliminary make and model stuff out of the way, they fetched the part, charged me a low price and I was out the door in a flash and back on my way. I visited this location as I was having issues with the battery in my truck. Upon entering there…read morewere no other customers. I asked the gentleman behind the counter if I could have my battery checked. It immediately showed that my battery was dead. Although it is advertised that they change batteries, I was told by the guy working that they couldn't change my battery because I had digital displays and there is a piece that needs to be put on the car while the process was being done, and they didn't have that piece. I was told I needed to go to a dealership or a mechanic. As it turns out, this is not the case and upon inquiring at another location, it was no problem for them to change my battery. If the employees didn't feel comfortable doing it or maybe didn't have the piece needed at the time, they could have referred me to another location. Instead they brushed me off and obviously were too "busy" to assist customers. The Ronkonkoma location is about 5 min away, take the extra time and go to that location. They will give you correct information and assist the way they should.

Upon inspection by a Honda dealer they informed my the engine mounts had failed after just two years and needed to be replaced, but I would have to pay for the replacements as they were no longer under warranty. Regardless of any warranties in effect or not, engine mounts failing like this under normal conditions is completely unacceptable. When I contacted the company they blow me off and blamed me for the problem and that they have been in business for 30 years--I guess they think they are infallible. If you're looking for parts for your car or your mechanic is, don't buy anything from this company.

That was back when you used to be able to fix it yourself. Now car engines are all computerized and cost a small fortune to fix. They have been in business in the same spot for about 50 years.
