Auto Parts. Having…read morethe need for some items in a pinch and not familiar with the area, I googled around and found Auto Parts of Bohemia so shot over there. The place is a little hard to find as it is in a nondescript building - looks almost like a company instead of a retail store. Once you venture in though you are greeted with a collection of this and that for autos but the fastest and easiest way is just to ask the guys behind the counter as most of the items are in their warehouse behind them. Once we got the preliminary make and model stuff out of the way, they fetched the part, charged me a low price and I was out the door in a flash and back on my way. That was back when you used to be able to fix it yourself. Now car engines are all computerized and cost a small fortune to fix. They have been in business in the same spot for about 50 years. Their prices are fair. We have an older car in the family which we needed a part to and they found it for us. Felt good to get my hands dirty again. Like old times.
