My name is John I have a 2013 mustang gt I've brought my car to realspeed to get a lot of performance parts installed and tuned and from the start dan has been nothing but a pleasure to deal with actually the whole stuff is very knowledgeable I wanted to save a little money so I brought my car to another mustang shop to get cams installed worst mistake of my life.. they messed everything up so I decided to bring it back to dan to take a look at it because I knew the car wasn't making the power it should have within the first couple of hours of being there he called me to let me know he could retune the car and get me a bunch more power then it had.. boy was he right the car drives amazing like a stock mustang and has great power all the way through everything They have done has been 100% and I've never had one problem I'm so thankful for dan and his crew for taking the time to dial my car in that's another thing he does it right he's not all about money he took his time to tune my cams and I couldn't be more thankful my car is running perfect so if you want the best then go to realspeed I promise you will not be disappointed and another thing if you have questions he has no problem answering anything for you he is so honest and you get a great feeling from the whole crew like you know your car is in great hands this winter I'm going to be installing a supercharger and realspeed is the only shop I will ever let touch my car again that I promise .. thank you again dan and the crew John telese read more

Just picked up my 94 GT mustang from Real Speed and I could not be more happy with Dan and the boys at the shop. Let's just say it's very refreshing to find a shop that took the time to get my car setup right. After coming from Mustang Magic, where I spent a good amount of money for upper, lower intake, long tube headers, injectors, heads, a cam and Mass Air, and a tune my car was running awful. The car would constantly stall out and have a hard time idling. I was actually shocked that they let this car leave the shop in the condition it was in. I was very disappointed to have spent that kind of money and have a car that was barely working. I brought my car to Real Speed to get this car working properly so I can make it an everyday driver. It took about 3 weeks to get an appointment and it was well worth the wait! Dan took the time to meticulously go over my car and right off the bat he was able to diagnose problems that were a result from the lack of professionalism from the previous shop. He replaced and O2 sensor that went bad because it was not properly jumped correctly and put a serious tune on this car. I picked up the car yesterday and it is like a whole new ride. The car drives a million times better. Although the shop was a bit pricey for the tune it was worth every penny. Guys it's like everything else in life, you get what you pay for! I 100% strongly recommend this shop and will be back when I put the super charger on. Thanks again! read more

I have brought my car to Rob and Dan for the past six years or so. I almost always deal directly with Rob and have only worked with Dan the few times I have had my car dyno tuned. I have to say that I couldn't give these guys enough of a gold star. They do amazing work, and they are consummate professionals. I have had everything done to my car from simple modifications to serious suspension work, and most recently - the installation of an intercooled supercharger, new fuel system, gauges, and all associated components. These guys treat my car like it is made of gold, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I tend to send a bunch of emails or even drop by at random to inquire about modifications before deciding to do anything. These guys take time out of their day to explain everything to me, and have even convinced me that I do not need to get certain componants because they will be a waste of money and will not get my car to where I want it. I have been to other race shops on Long Island before coming here, and have found that other shops will let you waste money on parts you don't need because they will profit from it. The guys at Real Speed are more concerned with making your car what you want it to be, and not just getting you to buy stuff - and that is worth its weight in gold. I can't say enough about the quality of service, and the technical ability of these guys. Keep up the great work! read more

I have a 2004 cobra that Dan tuned for me 2017. I explained to Dan that I live in NY, and while I would love to make good power, I need the car to pass NYS inspection every year. Dan guaranteed that my 04 Cobra would be reliable, make good power, and pass inspection every year. Dan told me because he is located in NY ALL of his tunes are guaranteed to pass NYS inspections. After taking a day off of work, spending 11 hours at his shop, over $1,000 for the day, and another $200 in misc parts, my car sits in my garage with no registration OR inspection because my " Guaranteed to pass NYS inspection tune" is a dud. In the beginning Dan returned 2 of my calls, and 2 e-mails. Now I don't get any replies or returned calls. NOTHING was offered to help, not a retune, not a refund, absolutely nothing! If you enjoy your Mustang, and need it to pass inspection, DO NOT go to Realspeed. Spend your time, and money elsewhere!! read more

Made an appointment for a wheel alignment on my 1300 mile Dodge challenger Redeye. They come poorly aligned from the factory. I arrived at 8:50am. I was taken right in and waited approximately 40 minutes in there clean comfortable waiting area. The tech brought out a computerized before and after alignment spec sheet and not to my surprise it was quite a bit off. I was charged a very reasonable amount, given a nice tee shirt, stickers and air fresheners. I can't say enough good things about the quality of work and professional service I received and my time was not wasted. My car rides more sure footed and the weird floaty front end feeling is gone. Thank you!! read more

I have been to realspeed for over 4 years, they have never left me unsatisfied. I believe there prices are more then reasonable for the service you receive. Dan an Rob are great people they always try to help me make the best decisions for my build. I have had my car supercharged and dyno tuned, exhaust work done an also have had my suspension worked on. Recently I have had them work on my transmission an install a stage 2 clutch kit. I was recommended to realspeed by some other mustang owners that have been going to realspeed for years, and now I know why. Don't make a mistake go to realspeed. read more

i have a 2019 Suoercharged Mustang. Dan did all my work and has gone over every single variable and detail when it comes to building and working on these cars. Dan is very meticulous and very well educated when it came to doing all the tuning and mechanical work. I bring my car to Dan even for normal maintenance as he treats these cars with the most upright respect as if it's his own. It's a very good feeling when the man taking care of your car is not only educated and a perfectionist at his craft but also has a tremendous passion for it. I recently had suspension work installed on my 2002 GT by my local shop and what a mistake. The car drove and handled terrible. I decided to take it to Realspeed on a recommendation and I couldn't be happier. The car drives and handles amazing. The guys are true Mustang people and absolute professionals. Rob performed all the work on my car and I am very impressed with the install of all the parts and how he clean and neat he was with everything. I seriously recommend Realspeed for all your Mustang needs. Do not bother wasting your time bringing it to anybody else. Dan G read more

You CAN trust Real Speed with your car. If you have a Fox body Mustang, ask for Rob. He has extensive knowledge when it comes to cars, but especially with the Fox platform. I have a '92 GT, and Real Speed has done superior work. The work Real Speed has done perfectly for me is: Caster/Camber plates, bump steer kit, solid steering shaft, power-steering replacement rack, T-5 re-build, shifter replacement, lower manifold gasket replacement, upper/lower control arms, the list goes on. Owner/Engineer Dan knows these cars and so does his staff. read more

Got my 90 GT tuned here and Dan, the owner, explained to me everything he was doing as he was doing it. More Importantly he was very honest. Dan explained to me some of the parts I wanted installed are not worth the money with the particular setup I have. He could've easy installed the parts and taken my money, but he didn't. Prices are reasonable. Not like other shops that just throw parts in that aren't worth it and bang you over the head. read more
