They have a great covered outdoor seating area and their inside, while small, is cozy and homey with pictures of dogs all over the walls. I ordered the sweet potato tacos, and they were so flavorful and filling. It's a BBQ restaurant but there are definitely lots of good vegetarian options. Great local spot that I'll definitely come back to.

My husband and I finally made it to Yellow Dog Eats after having it on our list for months, and it…read moreabsolutely lived up to the hype. The Vibe: We came on a Saturday and the parking lot was packed, which we took as a great sign--and it was. You walk through a fun outdoor patio before heading inside to order, and the space is incredibly unique--colorful, eclectic, slightly hipster, with dog photos and quirky decor everywhere. The line to order was pretty long, but we noticed a few open seats at the bar. We asked the bartender if we could order there, and she said yes--pro move. Skip the line, grab a bar seat. Drinks: We tried the house lager, which was solid and refreshing. What We Ordered: * Homemade Queso + Flavor Bomb 3 * "Famous" Pulled Pork Sandwich * "What the Fig?" Sandwich Standout Bite: The queso with Flavor Bomb 3 was incredible. Sweet, savory, and completely addictive. The pineapple in the flavor bomb added the perfect touch of sweetness and made the dish really stand out. Sandwiches: Both sandwiches were excellent. The pork was fresh, tender, and packed with flavor. The classic pulled pork was great, but if you like bold flavors, the "What the Fig?" is the way to go--the fig jam added the perfect sweet-savory balance. Flavor-packed and messy in the best way. Sides: Sandwiches come with your choice of Miss Vickie's chips, house-made slaw, or both for $1 extra. The house-made slaw was a standout for me--fresh, crisp, and the perfect complement to the sandwiches. Overall: Great food, fun atmosphere, and a unique experience from start to finish. We're already planning our next visit--and next time we're bringing our pup since they're dog-friendly and fully embrace it. Pro tip: Head straight to the bar if there's a long line--and don't skip the queso with a flavor bomb.

I was happy to see all the veggies with it too. It's so tasty. I was trying not to eat much rice, but the purple rice that becomes crunchy on the bottom was so irresistible. My husband ordered the beef bulgogi with the bowl and loved it too. We ordered the crab corn Rangoon and this was slightly different than the traditional and it was so good with the corn. This place was quite busy this time. The two servers took care of everyone as best and smoothly as they can. At times it took a while so just keep that in mind if you are in a time crunch. I do think it's worth it.

Not good on many fronts. Food: ordered 4 dishes and only…read moreone was good, the other 3 tasteless. Condiments such as kimchi were mediocre at best. Nothing great or authentic about much of the menu Service: Young waitress that was fairly conversed on the menu but really needed mentoring and no manager was in site. For example, brought us a beer and the serving glass was chipped (noticed after the beer was poured). Instead of offering a new beer she said "this happens once in awhile and brought a new glass but ignored the obvious issue. On another front : They had 2 beer choices and she said one was dark but when it came it was just a regular lager in a green bottle(hence the dark). This is not her fault it's inattentive management. Atmosphere: Modern and sparse and pretty dirty. Tables were not properly cleaned and the menus were sticky. Price/Value: Average pricing for what was offered but not a great value. They also charge a 3% credit card fee (absolute nonsense). Will not be going back.

First time to this Hot Pot. I've tried a competing one and this is much better. I like that they…read moreoffer everything under one price (seafood, steak, etc.). Some places have the better ingredients out during dinner only or on weekends. Volcano has high quality ingredients out all the time. They have a HUGE seafood selection - I was in heaven. Crab legs, scallops, 2 types of clams, shrimp, mussels, etc. Many choices. They also have a wide selection of hot pot meats - pork belly, lamb, different grades of beef. Many veggie selections (napa cabbage, different types of mushrooms, sweet potato), as well as lobster balls, fish balls, quail eggs, etc. We opted for the Hot Pot, Korean BBQ Combo. It's only $5 or $6 more and you can do both Hot Pot and BBQ. If you're new to this concept, they'll explain it all to you and help :) The grill, at your table is really nice. They had many marinated meats to select from at the food bar. Also large selection of sauces and a visual guide on how to make certain sauce combinations. Our favorite meats were the chicken and bulogi. The food bar area was spotless and well stocked. If you have any room left after all that food, they do have fresh fruit and ice cream options also. They serve alcohol, specialty cocktails, beer, wine and soft drinks. I believe this was around $37 per person for the combo option. We'll definitely go back again. Just go hungry! Tables are limited to 90 minutes and they will charge you for food waste if you get a lot and don't eat it. We didn't have any issues with that, but just FYI - they have signs posted at each table.

The broth came quickly and they have good service. They are willing to bring you just about anything you ask for even if it's not on the menu they really try hard to make you whatever you want. It's a very big place too. They have so much different food which is awesome because there is variety for everyone. You can do hot pot or Korean bbq or both. It was expensive but worth it. I'll go back when I'm ready to indulge! I'll recommend as well!!
