Still, we ordered a chocolate and coffee malted, and it was excellent -- creamy, rich, and immediately familiar. It reminded me of the kind of treat I'd get with my grandfather at a neighborhood candy store or luncheonette growing up. Inside, the shop is a mix of ice cream counter, candy store, and gift shop. They sell shell collections, coconut patties, Florida-themed candy boxes, dog treats, and tourist Aplachicola T-shirts ($28 each).
