If you're in the Apalachicola/Eastpoint/SGI area, Matt at Bayside Coffee is THE roaster and coffee joint. He uses all organic and fair trade stuff. $12 a pound for organic Peruvian if you do the 5lb quantity to take home. I bought 10lbs.

I am unfortunately one of those picky coffee people and Bayside Coffee exceeded my expectations!!! I had an iced coconut coffee & it was absolutely incredible. Not too sweet and great flavor! Will be back 100%!!!

This is a cute little coffee house we found on our roadtrip down to the Tampa area. The friendly young man behind the counter was quick with our drinks & they were very tasty! I ordered a dirty iced chai with almond milk and my daughter tried a strawberry white chocolate latte with oat milk. Definitely worth the stop!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Passing through and enjoyed one of the best cups of Americano I've ever had! The owner is super friendly and kind. It was just him and there was a steady flow of people. He's efficient while he visits with locals and visitors. The Wifi is great here. Nice place to work. Very pet friendly. Was able to bring my pug inside with me.

Great local coffee shop. I have been to both locations and the coffee and the service were outstanding! Owner roast the coffee so don't forget to take some coffee to go.

Cute local coffee shop. It's clear going in that there are many regulars that the owner knows. When we came in there was at least four other groups in line. The owner works the counter and makes the coffee. We got the honey cold brew and honey oat latte both of which were very good and not too sweet. We also got pastries. We then went out to the outdoor seating and enjoyed breakfast and watched the many local customers come in and out. Exactly the type of place you want to support when coming through town. Easy parking right next to the location too!

The exterior is rustic but exactly what it should be on The Forgotten Coast. Very similar to outdoor, or quasi outdoor, restaurants in the larger area. Pull right up, there's unpaved parking all around. Inside is clean but can be a little tacky to the touch from the open windows and ceiling fans churning in the Florida humidity. The business is right on the bay so you get a little breeze, I suppose. Remember, this is the old Florida, the real Florida. If you're expecting frigid AC and hospital cleanliness inside then this isn't the larger area for you - head to Panama City Beach or commercialized Florida. Trust me, I love some ice cold AC, but that's not why you come to the Forgotten Coast. The inside has bar seating and tables. There was a comic performing out back closer to the water and a small crowd in chairs but we remained inside as we were a little tired from our day of travel. The bartender was very knowledgeable and helpful without hovering. The beer was good but I liked the beers at Water Craft Brewery in Apalachicola just a little better. But HELLO NURSE we then ordered the handmade, hand-tossed pizza. It was great! I usually am not a pizza crust aficionado but the crust is sooo tasty! Needless to say the toppings and sauce made the pizza a big wow! Sorry, no photo, I lost my mind in the flavor! If you're in the area for a weekend, or more, I really do recommend this very good local, real-Florida, independent tap room and brewery.
