I tried several of their signature bowls like the Island bowl, Dragon bowl and Albatross bowl. Each of them were very good. I really like the coconut cream as it makes everything else taste so much better. It's sort of like an icy coconut ice cream. All the ingredients were very fresh and the presentation of each bowl was beautiful. I went during their grand opening week where they had a BOGO. read more

My wife and I stopped by because we love trying different açaí spots, and this one is close to where we live. Unfortunately, our experience was a bit disappointing. We ordered two bowls, and my wife asked if she could add condensed milk to hers. The response was, "We have it, but it's for something else." That was surprising and disappointing. If an ingredient is available, it would have been nice if they were willing to accommodate a simple request, even if there was an extra charge. I'll give them another try and update. read more

I've been looking for a new acai bowl place and I can confidently say I've found my new favorite! Their service is great and the workers are super kind. They have a good amount of seating as well. Similar to an Açaí place but with a lot of choices for your base. This is the first Island Bodega I've come across and I enjoy supporting local businesses so I stopped in. It's located in the Chik-fil-a / Target shopping center near Einstein Bros Bagels. The first thing I noticed was that the place was immaculate, very clean. The staff was ready to serve, welcomed me in and answered many questions about their options. The store is tastefully designed and decorated. There are plenty of seats to enjoy your bowl. The food was displayed nicely and everything looked very clean and organized. I picked my base, then a granola choice, followed by chia pudding. After that you add fruit, nuts, seeds, etc to your liking. You can add as many toppings as you like as long as they fit in the bowl. I was worried about it being too sweet so I skipped honey or agave topping and mine was perfect! Curious about what I ordered? Size small, coconut base, honey granola, vanilla chia pudding, bananas, strawberries, blueberries, kiwi, raw coconut, cacao nibs, sliced almonds, walnuts, almond butter. Yum! read more

The girls working there were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout the entire visit. They made us feel comfortable and were very patient answering questions and checking in to make sure everything was good.
