Came here for my birthday an hour before closing. Was really grateful to find a restaurant that was closer to my home instead of having to go all the way down to 42nd street. Upon waking in there wasn't that much people dinning in. I thought that would be great because I was looking for a romantic evening with my significant other. There is a bar but we got seated at a table since we wanted to enjoy our meal. Our waiter was nice. He introduced himself and because some of the menu was in Spanish he translated and made some suggestions for us. I couldn't decide between the chicken and the shrimp. Since my man picked the Garlic shrimp with yellow rice and beans I just decided to follow suit. While we waited for our food to come to the table, we ordered our drinks. They have a pineapple drink to die for! It actually comes in a big pineapple that you can take home. When the food came i was disappointed. The garlic shrimp sauce was really weak it just didn't taste like garlic at all! Kind of regret that I didn't order the chicken. Waiter came and sung happy birthday with a piece of cake and the manager came over with two shots of tequila for my man and I. I thought that was real nice. I have one very important suggestion, Please please turn down your music! It is beyond loud! But thanks for making my birthday dinner special! read more
