We contracted iShipItRight in November 2020 to ship our household goods and furniture overseas, in a grueling transatlantic move within a move from USA to Germany, right in the middle of the pandemic. We were attracted to iShipItRight because the price was right, and we were extremely nervous because we'd never shipped overseas before, and as the adage goes, "you get what you pay for." Bottom line, iShipItRight exceeded any expectations we had and we will gladly step up for them. iShipItRight undercut the next competitor by $200, and MANY of them quoted us nearly twice the amount iShipItRight did or more! Liezy in Sales guided us thru the process, made it super simple, and put our minds at ease. She spelled out precisely how much each step cost and pointed out what they couldn't cover and may be extra if Germany did not like x, y, or z. She also explained the insurance, and everything was crystal clear. Plus the down payment of only $500 to get things moving was an affordable bargain. As time got closer to the move. obstacles came up. Our stuff had to be picked up from two different locations, Germany was asking for an exhaustive inventory while the country was going back into lockdown, and we had to navigate the tricky holiday season when absolutely everything in Germany shuts down for days. Our nerves were shot. That's when we met Xiomara in iShipItRight's Operations and she understood our obstacles perfectly. She set up a plan that was exactly what we needed, and guided us thru writing the list. She even checked my work! The plan had a hundred moving parts. iShipItRight acts on your behalf and hires subcontractors to pick up your stuff, palettize it, transport it to port, store it as needed, ship it overseas, receive it overseas, get it thru Customs, and ship it to your door. It was maddening to imagine. Atop our personal move, our stress levels were thru the roof. A couple times, we did not hear back from them as quickly as we would have liked, needing confirmation to our confirmations of confirmations, so we really appreciated Hannah the team coordinator for excellence hands holding and babysitting. We realized our stress the toll the move was taking on us and how many things iShipItRight was managing on our behalf. Hannah became like a friend as she reassured you what was up and when, and it was the nicest part of the process. We looked them up out of paranoia that our stuff wouldn't vanish like Titanic and saw poor reviews from couples just like us because their shipment was held at the receiving port or foreign customs or damaged in transport, and we had the same worries, but still remembered these had been explained as possible risks by iShipItRIght. They're not lying. You're dealing with foreign governments and companies--some of them are not going to like your shipment, and charge extra just to look at it--that is not iShipItRight's fault. They are newcomer on the logistics scene, and family owned and operated. Given the complexity of what they do, we came to respect their work greatly, and are standing up for them. They stood up for us too. The receiving company in Germany came across like they weren't paying attention or didn't read our emails or didn't have time for us... and tried to DOUBLE CHARGE us for customs, storage, and delivery! One phone call to Hannah and she had them sorted out within a day. Everything arrived when they said it would arrive, and perfectly intact, even the most fragile things, dry and clean. Frankly it was freaking amazing. Yes, it is a funny feeling in a family business because there is a large cast of characters and a Wimbledon of call transfers. Some shipping companies bragged to us about their price, and others bragged about their experience, but mostly they gave us the creeps. Nobody felt as honest or right as Hannah, Xiomara, and Liezy. They were great! So fair is fair: iShipItRight is pretty awesome! They'll be who we use for our next overseas move. read more

Huge regrets over this choice. I booked with iship It Right in June 2021 for pick up of household belongings in San Francisco and delivery to Ireland. Pick up was early December and delivery was targeted for the end of January. Managing clearing customs was included in contract and my payment. They lost track of my belongings in March, telling me they were in Amsterdam, but a shipper in Dublin was kind enough to tell me they were in Dublin. iShip it Right did not clear customs, meaning I had to scramble to find documents proving it was a transfer of residency for me and my family. Although I provided iShip it right everything they had asked for ahead of time. Then I had to arrange and pay again for delivery from Dublin to my home. I finally got my belongings in July of 2022, and that was only because the Irish company where they were stored helped me out. I do not recommend using iShip it Right in any way. DO NOT USE THEM. Poor communication, no updates, not answering calls or emails, lot's of excuses. I got my belongings 8 months after pick up. Save yourself a lot of stress, unexpected cost, and time by looking elsewhere!! read more

Using iShip it Right was the most terrible decision. Do NOT use their 'service'. Here is our story using iShip it Right: The list of the problems we have experienced using their service is long and most are directly related to the fact that iShip it Right outsources the work to subcontractors, something iShip it Right never disclosed before signing the contract. We decided to use iShip it Right's shipping service as they promoted that their delivery times are faster, they pledged that they would deliver in 5-6 weeks whereas the industry standard can be between 7-8 weeks. Little did we know how crappy their service would be and that our furniture would not arrive for MONTHS. It started on the first day when they arrived to pick up our furniture. Pick-up was scheduled for 2pm, they did not arrive until 8pm. Instead of showing up late, they then wanted to reschedule. We had even taken the day off from work and would not be available the next day. iShpit it Right hired 3rd-party movers who showed up in a rented Uhaul truck, as theirs was apparently broken, without any tools or equipment to shrink wrap any of our furniture as agreed upon in the contract and a service we had paid for. They stated they would wrap the furniture in the warehouse and that we would get picture evidence of this work being done. We said it's OK, however, the wrapping never happened. The mover left the furniture in another 3rd-party's warehouse without any accountability. Moving forward several days and zero updates, we as the customers were the ones chasing down information on the whereabouts of our entire household that we entrusted them with to move to our new home. But instead of easing the stress of an international move, that ended up being the main source of it. Fortunately, we had wrapped our leather couch and reclaimed-wood dining table in all the blankets we owned before the movers had arrived. This was the only protection this furniture had before being loaded onto pallets by yet another subcontractor. We purchased insurance for all of our furniture in case damage occurred. iShip it Right never disclosed there was a massive deductible that would later screw us. The administrator working with us through this process, Xiomara, was ineffective and her communication was consistently poor with wrong information (we would later discover when reconfirming specific data we needed for shipping dates or customs information). This is where it started to get worse. Xiomara was not aware of the documentation and information we needed to provide customs officials and when she did provide some information, it was incorrect. This caused us, the customers, to do more work even though this is part of the iShip it Right 'service' we paid almost 4K U$D for. As there was consistently incorrect information from iShip it Right and Xiomara, our furniture was held at the port in Germany by customs. This was not our fault, this was iShip it Right's fault. As they had contracted another 3rd party with the actual customs process, there was again zero accountability of who was responsible for what. So when people just forgot to send emails to claim our cargo, everyone was pointing fingers and we ended up having to pay additional storage fees because someone didn't do their job. In addition to this, we also had to pay an extra 2K Euros to have German customs release our furniture. Still, there was no solution from iShip it Right, they were silent, would not answer phone calls, and would not answer emails until days later. We were finally able to speak with someone at iShip it Right in Florida and they reacted with 'surprise' that this would be happening with their service. Though, they were very little help as, according to iShip it Right, they could not do anything about the shipment once it is in the port. As a result, our furniture was sitting in a warehouse in Hamburg for an extra month. Even transportation from Hamburg to Berlin became a problem and caused another delay because the 3rd-party iShip it Right hired for handling the cargo in Germany had to hire another 4th-party to transport the cargo via truck. All while we were in our empty apartment in Berlin for 2 months, using temporary camping equipment. After the transportation to Berlin was finally scheduled, another surprise. Instead of delivering to our house, they left it at yet another warehouse as iShip it Right did not have anybody to deliver our furniture the final mile. When we finally received our furniture, the transport service just dropped three palettes in front of our apartment building. Nothing more and he just left. The entire shipment was damaged. My heart sank and I felt as though someone kicked me in the stomach when I saw our furniture and the palettes. The palettes were broken, the shrink wrap was ripped everywhere, our $3,000 leather couch was damaged in two different areas, and our $1,000 salvaged wood dining table sustained irreparable structural damage. read more

This company is a nightmare! It couldn't get worse! I don't know how they even call themselves a company and how many fake reviews it took to get their rating up to 7.0 because there's no way they deserve more than one. If I knew they were this awful I'd have much prefered to spend 10 times more money than they asked for than go through all this nightmare they put us through! As soon as we paid them, they stopped emailing back and when they did they were never helpful they would only make things worse. After about a month they decided to ship our cargo and when that happened they told us they couldn't deliver to our country! Even though the address on the documents was in our country where they told us they could ship to without any problems in the beginning! When our shipment was in the middle of the ocean, they decided to tell us that our shipment in fact is going to an other country of their choice that's close to us. And there was nothing we could do. It took 4 months for our shipment to arrive in the destination of their choice because apparently it was going all around the globe a few times until they decided to realease our shipment in some random country close to us, there is no other explanation why it took so long. And of course during all this time there was no communication whatsover other than 2 or 3 times where they were asking for some more documents which later on those documents cause us even more trouble since the company has no idea what's needed. There was obviously no tracking number for us to look up our shipment because why would we need to know where our belongings are during those 4 months. However they were nice enough to make up some random numbers to lie to us with and tell us we don't know how to look it up. Somehow, after those 4 months they managed to move our things to the country of their choice. Because of COVID we couldn't even go to that country and pick up the shipment ourselves so we just asked if they could at least find someone to transport it to us and we would gladly pay more if we had to even though it was all their fault from the beginning. They said they would look into it and see what they can do. We waited a few weeks, got an email from them that said they're still trying to look for someone and after that they never emailed back no matter how much we tried. Not only they left our shipment in an other country and didn't even help with transportation from there but they hadn't even payed anything in that country for us to be able to just find someone to transport our shipment to us. We had to pay local taxes, the warehouse and customs TWICE because of what they did! So now just to transport our things from our neighbor country to us, the actual final destination, we are having to pay more than we originally payed them! Our customs broker told us about all their mistakes and advised us to get a refund. But of course they didn't reply to any of the emails. This company is a joke! They probably forgot about the fake reviews they wrote themselves and thought they were actually good. Well, here's a real review! You are terrible! You can't do your job right and it just doesn't get more unprofessional. So just give up! This job is definitely not for you guys! Maybe try Starbucks or something? You might do better there. I can even look up for different jobs for all of you since this one is just not the one for you. I agreed on a quote to move my possessions from USA to Spain that included clearance fees, delivery and unloading in Spain. Now that the container is here they say they have no responsibility for those services and I have been left alone to make all arrangements and pay again. They delayed providing documentation which also cost me extra storage fees. I would not recommend using this company and if you do, never pay until services have been provided. read more

i paid for an all inclusive move door to door for a 20 feet x 8 feet container from chicago to france i paid around 4000$ at the begining the container came with 3 hours late the container arrived in france and no one was told to pick it up i had to contact myself the agent pay for the taxes, the delivery etc...! a real nightmare i had to pay 4088,2 euros more and ishipitright asked the agent to send me the invoice i have all the proves of what i am saying ishipitright never wanted to pay me back they are unprofessionnal don t take this mover they are thieves run away read more

Fine until they do something wrong - iShipitRight managed to damage the container during shipping (the container took a knock, presumably during unloading or loading), damaging a number of the contents, including a bed, table, chairs, and a bookcase, costing more than $2,000 to repair/ replace. Despite admitting liability over the phone and telling me they would forward the claim to their insurance company, they never progressed this, despite multiple re-assurances from their staff (in particular, Xiomara Rivera). AVOID THIS COMPANY, EVEN IF THEY ARE THE CHEAPEST. read more
