It's a local family business and we try to support businesses like this verses chain corporations. I spoke to Kleyn to set up the move both times. He is very professional and up front with their services and the cost. They do accept cc but give you a small discount for paying with cash. I was able to schedule both moves on the day I needed which was great! I am very pleased with their price for both moves. I think they are probably cheaper than most, but I did not feel we received any less of a service because of this. The movers which are Kleyn's sons, were punctual and professional. They wasted no time while still being extremely careful with our things.

Now for the bad. They ruined my sofa, I thought they put furniture on top of padding so it doesn't get grease on the fabric? Black grease on the side of the sofa. Second thing, they were suppose to bring a 3 man team and ended up with 2. More time it takes, more money. At the end, at bill paying time they took off $25 for the third person not showing! Thirdly, they sure chat up with my hubby. Hmmm, more time, more money. The time sure stretched out. Finally, that I know of right now, they put boxes wherever! I clearly had each box marked as to which room it goes. They would also ask me, I finally started saying "what's the box say?" Moving is stressful as it is, I would know, I've done it every two years most of my life (military). This was pretty stressful. I also tipped generously because I know moving "stuff" is not easy. There prices have gone way up since the last time I used them. They have a two hour minimum, $400 for two movers. Luckily, I scheduled right before they increased their rates for this time of year to $600 for two hours and two movers. They did end up sending three movers without any extra charge.
