Liz ordered the Potosino nachos, which were like a loaded nachos. Loaded means it came with beans, grill d tomato and jalapeno, thin slices of skirt steak, and cheese. It looked good, and I grabbed a few at the begining. I really enjoyed my Potosino plate. It was the same thing slices of skirt steak, grilled onion, jalapeno, and tomato that was on the nachos, but my plate came with Spanish and refried beans. (Same as Noah's kid taco plate). So, why the 3? It's a small place, and the dining area can be overwhelmed by a rush. Though the folks that knew were just getting food to go. There's about 7 tables/booths for 4 each, and it got crowded right after we sat down and ordered. Hey, if I can't get my coffee refilled without asking, well... Overall, I did enjoy the food. I'm not sure queso-covered fries are part of any recognized food group, but they should be. We also ordered the fried catfish basket, and it was very good as well. The fish tasted fresh, and the cornmeal batter was exactly what you'd expect from good Southern-style catfish. Even the house-made coleslaw was a pleasant surprise, which is saying something because coleslaw is usually the side dish everybody politely ignores.
