Absolutely BUTCHERED three very tall birds of paradise. When asked how long his worker had been doing that type of work Isaac indicated two months. They destroyed the latch on my gate as they were leaving. Owner Isaac gave me the "we only charged you so much" for the job and "how do you know we did that, could've been that way when we came" bs refusing to fix the damaged property and telling me to go ahead and put a hold on the check. Rather than go thru repercussions of hold on check I will have to pay out of pocket for gate latch repair and have to avoid looking at what they did to my plants. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS NO MATTER HOW LOW HE GOES ON ESTIMATE. read more

Came out to cut three trees and charged $175 which is overly priced. I asked him to take care of me and tackle two more and wanted another $125. Owner clearly doesn't know how to do business because i would've gave him the whole front and back yard and offered his service to my platform and network. I am very surprised by the negative reviews. Isaac & his team did a GREAT job both times they were here and I've invited them back for a third job next week. Isaac is super responsive, his pricing is beyond fair (like I feel that he should be paid more than what he quotes) and his guys do a great job. I kinda peeked while they were trying to remove this large stump that was on a slope so they had to manually chop away at it since the grinder wouldn't work on the slope. I don't know if they were competing amongst themselves or what but I liked seeing smiles on their faces while doing the job because I personally would have been hating life. I would highly recommend working with Isaac for all of your stump & tree removals. read more

We called Isaac and asked for a light pruning of the tree in our front yard and to take some branches off the top because they were growing on the roof. They came to our home, didn't have the courtesy to inform us they were here, and proceeded to cut the tree almost bear without us knowing. On top of that they didn't even do what was asked which was to take some branches off the top of the tree and away from the roof. Terrible service and the response we received to our discontent was awful, there are better tree services out there. Avoid this one! read more

Not the best tree service out there. They broke a palm tree we had just planted. Left a lot of trash, even left their empty water bottles on our neighbors lawn. Originally Isaac said they would grind the stump to be level with the soil, but then once the actual landscape team was here, they left the trunk a good 8" tall and said they couldn't cut anymore. At least one of the guys called Isaac to clear the issue, but Isaac is very sly and gave many excuses and went back on his word as to what the whole job was going to be. If you can, get things in writing so Isaac can't switch around the job description. I guess that's what happens when you contract a cheap company.... Lesson learned. I asked Isaac to completely clean my front and back yard to dirt. Remove all weeds and tree stumps. Clean and blow the area clean. He suggested roto tilling but I really only wanted it clean as that's all could afford. His price was twice the other quotes I got but he said he would completely remove the trees and stumps that were growning through our cement and put poison on them so they wouldn't regrow. His crew came out on Saturday 11/9/19 at 7:15 am. Two hours before we had agreed at 9 am. They cut the weeds in the back yard but nothing else. He asked for 3/4 of the estimate and he'd come back himself to finish in the morning. He did not come. I messaged him to ask why. He said he had an employee not show for work and would come in the afternoon. He again didn't show. I messaged again and he seemed surprised. Said he would come out personally to do the work today. He sent an employee who asked to borrow our shove to work. After an hour I went to check on him. The guy left and only removed the weeds in a very small section of of the yard between the street and the sidewalk. I messaged Isaac again and he was confused and then stopped messaging. Please DO NOT waste your time and money on this man or his business. I got his info from him passing out cards. I should have looked on Yelp first. My mistake. read more

Please see all of my photos. Putting this out there to make people aware. Per initial meeting job to start at 8am, finish by 5pm. On 8/26/19, Isaac text he'd be 20 minutes late. Crew of 2 arrives after 10:30am (over 2.5 hours late!). Work began, no noise at 1:45pm, open front door, Isaac's gone & crew is sleeping on mulch near walkway to the door. Isaac comes back, says he's going to leave to beat traffic; he lives in Ontario (20-25 minute drive w/ traffic.). "They finished" after 7:45pm & never moved sago psalms as agreed. Any errands I had to do that evening I had to cancel. Was too dark to see errors. Next few days realized weeds were cut down in height, not pulled, & left coming out the ground. Five tree stumps weren't grinded/removed. Found cut lines to the irrigation systems in front & back yards; causing leaks. Informed Isaac & scheduled a 9/16 appointment. Isaac cancelled 3 minutes before our 1pm appointment on 9/16 via email stating he had an emergency. Rescheduled for 9/18, Isaac no showed & I didn't hear from him for over 48 hours. After sending text messages, emails & leaving voicemails Isaac called on 9/20. Isaac said he was having family issues w/ his wife & in Phoenix, AZ. I understand being busy w/ other things, but in this day in age it is far too easy to contact someone via text, over the phone, DM, Face Time, email, postal mail, etc. Isaac met w/ me on 9/23, assured me that he would fix the damage to the irrigation systems (that costs more than double of what I paid for his services) caused by his crew, have the sago psalms moved, remove/pull all the weeds, grind the stumps & he would personally over see it. Isaac said verbatim, "I will be there because sometimes when I'm not things don't get done correctly by my guys." We scheduled for 9/24, Isaac cancelled on me via email (again) 7 minutes before our 1pm appointment because they were fixing another problem, rescheduled w/ me for 8am on 9/30/19. Isaac text me that they're running late & again that they'll be here before 9am, only one guy shows up at 9:24am, he speaks broken English, I don't speak Spanish & Isaac is nowhere to be found; so there is a clear communication issue. I texted Isaac if he was coming, he says no & states he's dealing w/ an emergency. This is Isaac's business & he has no other persons available to speak w/ who can take care of things or resolve issues. I understand having to deal w/ personal issues, but if you're the only contact person of your business you have to acknowledge your customers. After 1pm worker says he's going to lunch for 20 minutes, comes back after 2:30pm (1 hour & 10 minutes later), I think he's going to work, he gathers up his stuff, takes off in his truck, leaving sprinkler parts, screws & nails in our driveway! I still have irrigation lines cut in the backyard & un-pulled weeds (several more not pictured)! I call Isaac & he says the worker says our 10lbs house dog (who only goes outside to potty or when we walk him) bit through the lines of the irrigation system & I told the worker that! The cuts in the lines are perfectly straight from a bladed tool. There are no teeth marks, no signs of gnawing, chewing or tearing & apparently our dog removed the emitters of each line perfectly & just left them there! Worker also hid the line w/ rocks; I imagine thinking I wouldn't notice! He put the new non-matching black piece on the brown line. Also, doesn't explain how the lines were cut in the front yard when the dog doesn't go in the front, nor why he didn't pull the weeds! The worker also left the water on to the irrigation system! Isaac said he'd call me back, worker will come back, & fix everything! No call back, no show up! I am very disappointed in Isaac's Landscape and Gardening. I found them on Home Advisor. Isaac Cantu came out and gave a reasonable quote. A couple of days later I called to schedule a time for him to come out, and here is where the problem is...we went back and forth on a time that seemed most suitable to him rather than me, the customer.
