The cannon ball and a soft pretzel

Just across the street from the warm springs lodge. This awesome little stand offers basic lunch / snack items with a smile. Everyone around it are having fun and the neighborhood dogs happily stop by for a snack. I had the cannon ball.

Dang it. I wanted this place to be way better. Maybe I built it up in my mind. But it was just okay. The hot dogs were boiled :( I wish they were grilled. Good price though for the original dog we got the kids. I got the kraut dog. Just what you imagine it would taste like and it came with a side of chips.

Perfect afternoon snack or light lunch. Conveniently located in the middle of town. Tables and umbrellas to sit at. Staff was super friendly and the hot dogs were tasty.

Chicago guy? Irving's Red Hots right here to save a few bucks while getting a taste of home? Count me in. Directly across from the base area at Warm Springs base area. Just walk 50 yards to get an authentic Red Hot with all the fixin's and be back on the slopes 15 minutes later. It's right beside where the ski bus drops people off. Save your wallet and add to your daily vertical feet.

...original dog and iced beverage with a view...you will not be bored watching what happens in the intersection...wild...!!!

Pretty straightforward hotdog. The kids love the hotdog and I like the "all the way". Every hotdog comes with chips.

Cold hot dogs, warm soda pop, and a very small bag of chips. $5.00. Give me a break!

How do you screw-up a hot dog? Go here and find out. Cold hot dog, warm soda = trash can.

The hotdogs here are the best I have ever had outside of Chicago. This is a must stop for me skiing in SV.

Very average hot dog and polish dog, nothing special about the meat itself, but the toppings are great.

Probably could not be any better than it is... and like Sam says, it is a welcome break on the budget within the valley...

The decor is garage or frat boy chic with a collection of old beer cans on the wall. We ordered hamburgers with fries that included pickles, lettuce and their sauce. Inside dining is very tight. The service was quick and the fries were hot, nicely salted. The burger was decent and filled a void. The male or owner behind the counter must be deaf as he was speaking at a shouting level. His history of past drug use drowned out our conversation. I'm sure he was trying to be engaging, but dude, no one wants to hear of your sorted history. DIAL IT BACK! It is not just about you. If I finished a day of skiing, Grumpys' might be a better option. The food was quick and inexpensive. To be honest, it is a burger / bar shack. I just don't care to hear some employee over shouting and sharing his past at the top of his lungs. I've been to remote truck stops with cleaner restrooms. Absolutely no need to return.

The menu is very simple and straightforward, burgers , fries , hotdog , etc. You place your order and they bring the food to you. They also have a massive glass of beer but I did not order it. I had a 1/2 lbs burger and fries and my friend had chicken wings with fries. The food was cooked great and with great flavor. If you want to experience a local skiers paradise. This is it!
