Inside they have a mini Dunkin Donuts, grab and go snacks, hotdogs, drinks, beer, wine, and the typical convenience store stuff. Irving gas is pretty competitive with their prices as well so you can fill up here without feeling guilty. Also next door is Market Basket and McDonald's if you need that.

They also have made to order deli selections and the staff prepares some excellent food. Service at Jake's deli's/Irving gas stations is generally excellent. The people in the staff try to ensure customer satisfaction. This Jake's is relatively new, after having been completely rebuilt after an unfortunate fire several years ago. You probably wonder why I've given them only two stars after a laudatory verbal description. I did so because of their lack of preparedness for the COVID-19 pandemic. I came in to order sandwiches and there was not one single customer wearing a mask, none of the staff except the cashier were wearing masks, there were no signs for social distancing, only one single sign outside of the door. If they had some measures in place in the middle of this pandemic, they would easily rate four stars. As it is right now, I would not recommend anyone to enter this Jake's deli except for a one or two minute visit.

My daughter's car was towed a mere 7.2 miles from New London, NH to S & P Auto in Andover on a Saturday. When a friend attempted to retrieve the vehicle, they were told it would cost $800 to release it. Yes, you read that right--$800 for a short tow and two days of storage. When I called to get an explanation of the charges, I was met with a dismissive attitude and told, "We deal with the insurance company, not the customer." I explained that we weren't planning to go through insurance--and that's when they hit me with the breakdown: a tow charge, a mysterious "labor" charge (which couldn't be clearly explained), and daily holding fees. When I asked what the "labor" charge was for--wasn't that part of the tow fee?--the person on the phone simply said it was "for the driver." To add insult to injury, she told me, "If you hadn't been in an accident, you wouldn't be in this predicament." Completely unprofessional and utterly tone-deaf. In the end, I had no choice but to involve my insurance company. Even they were shocked--my representative said they don't see these kinds of inflated fees in Boston or New York, let alone rural New Hampshire. This is nothing short of price gouging, and it's clear that S & P Auto is more interested in squeezing every possible dollar out of a situation than in offering fair, honest service. Make no mistake--this isn't just about the insurance company footing the bill. Predatory pricing like this eventually affects the customer through higher premiums. Companies like S & P Auto don't care about that. They're out to take advantage of people in stressful situations. Terrible service. Outrageous pricing. Avoid this business at all costs.

I even made an appointment to have the other 3 tires checked for any issues. The pumps themselves are fairly quick unlike some of the other local stations. The staff here is really polite and the prices on general are reasonable. The store itself is well organized and clean and the bathrooms here are also well maintained. Overall, not a bad gas station to fuel at or pick up some snacks for the road. It is conveniently located near a ton of stores which makes it a great place to stop at after a long day of shopping in the area.

When I called they said they did have a record of my call, but their contract accounts for a fill-up prior to a sale. I have never in my life heard of such a thing. While the people who purchased our property opened an account at Irving with our recommendation.
