My husband and I bought a house in Newport beach last April. The house was remodeled and updated in the master bathroom and kitchen. Although the builders did some nice touches to the house, we weren't thrilled with it. To top it off, the furniture we had from our old house was boring, too matchy-match and cheep looking. Since our house was an upgrade from our last, we wanted to do thins right and make it the house that we always wanted. We've watched HGTV and shows of that like that had interior makeovers and what not and we knew we wanted something like that done as well. We had no idea what to expect from working with an interior designer. We contacted a couple of designers before we contacted Olivia. The first two designers seemed uninterested with working with us. Not sure why but it could be he layout of the house, the size of the job or maybe just us that they felt they just didn't want to take out project. Fine by us. We contacted Olivia. She was referred to us by a co-worker of my husbands. Olivia came to our house and we just loved her energy and the the way she handled things. She asked us questions about our preferences and ideas and from there she went to work.She always was available to us when we had questions and she always updated us in each phase of the project. We knew what we were spending and for what and where. She did our dining room, conversation room, and master bedroom and living room. These were the rooms that were focal point of the house and wanted to make it special when we entertain and have guests. She took our preferences and put together the most stunning designs from furniture to paint to everything else in between. We would have never thought of the color scheme,furniture selection, artwork or accessories that she put together. That's why she is the professional! On the install day, we were in awe. We could not believe this was our house! Everyday we come home and we just sit here and pinch ourselves. We keep saying" Wow, this is our house!" And when we have parties and get togethers people are just in love with everything. We are so proud to live here. Olivia was a joy to work with. She listened, act on it and she get things done. I heard about this store from a customer of mine and had to visit them after stopping by one of my favorite coffee shops a couple stores down which was super convenient. I was greeted by Olivia and she told me how they have been in business Tustin for about 6 years now and was previously in Irvine and I believe Upland. She explained how they do their own upholstery and custom furniture which was also super convenient (and exciting) because I have been wanting do redo some things in my home but was lost in terms of color and just plain old ideas. We exchanged business cards and she ended up giving me some ideas for a coffee table and couch set up I wanted to do in my living room. After talking and going over pricing and what I wanted, I decided to set up a home appointment with her! I am so happy and don't know where I would have thought of a simplistic color scheme, what accessories to consider and even down to the pillows. I've been to a few interior design stores before and I had to take note and comment on this one because of how welcomed I felt. As a first time homeowner. I searched high and low for a perfect custom kitchen cannot in Tustin. Irvine design center was a great find.Firstly the service was top notch. Olivia the owner was very responsive from the beginning, patiently absorbing what I envisioned going for my house. She kept in touch with me throughout and gave me updated on a timely manner. What I liked best was that she was detail-oriented on my behalf. The results were what I expected: top quality. It's obvious that there is a lot of pride in the work produced. Olivia followed up the following day after installation to make sure I was happy with the product. I'm also happy to say that these projects were completed ahead of schedule! I first contacted Irvine Design Center to get my sofa reupholstered they asked me to come in and select fabric. I was very impressed with the showroom. They manufacture their own furniture as well as make just about everything custom. I decided to also get my drapery there and they came out excellent. Olivia the designer and the employees give great customer service. Everything was done in time and I had no problem at all. I also had Olivia come over to my home and consult on my kitchen and bath. She is very professional and knew just what I wanted. She supervised the complete project and completed it sooner than I had expected. Everything came out beautiful. I finally got to go to their showroom! Let me tell you i fell in love! I absolutely love this store they have a huge fabric room, a model kitchen, and a bathroom with top-notch products & lots more! This is the kind of place you go to when you want something custom made like anything you see in a magazines! The designers there are kind, proffesional, & very friendly! I came here recently to start remodeling my house I bought in February.. I honestly was beyond confused on what to look for but when I walked in I was surprised to see how cute the shop was .. I was greeted by a young girl she told me bout their services and then was referred to Olivia, she was very friendly am knowledgable of what to do with the space I had she was mor concerned bout what my dream house was and making my dream come true,.. Olivia is the owner she does beautiful work. I love this place because its medium to high end furniture, EVERYTHING IN THERE IS CUSTOM MADE!!! My mom bought a breakfast table the top of the table was shattered glass it was amazing. They also have an upholstery/reupholstery shop in house. All of their stuff is custom made their pillows are gorgeous!!! We also bought candles from them too, the candles were unique. I find it amusing how IDC hides the reviews that are relevant. This is a cute lil store however Olivia has her taste in mind and isn't very open minded about listening to others expectations. She needs to take notes too as I had to constantly repeat everything or remind her about the details we wanted in our home. I finally had to walk away. read more

Great stuff in their store but the owner is aloof and never returns calls. The people that work there are not knowledgable and are not friendly nor are they welcoming. Everyone there is cold and stuffy. I will probably take my business elsewhere. read more
