When I showed her what I had in mind for my brows, she stated she could make it happen, but the final result was poorly formed and gave me the impression of having old-fashioned brows. I booked the combined brow session. That appeared to be just a shading, Black, so I'll keep an eye on it to see when the color fades. The session done less than an hour total, got in the room at 10.05am, done at 10.59am. The numbing cream was not do anything or maybe she didn't wait long enough or it's expired. She never ask about the color I wanted, I had to ask during session she said it's espresso, but from what I see is totally black! So gross! When I previously got brow tattoos (8-9 years ago) the session took more than 2.5 hours. My prior tattoo artist took her time, repeatedly checked to see whether I was ok with each step and kept waiting before commencing the needles. I still find it hard to believe she completed my brows in less than an hour. Even though I'm not thrilled with it, I gave her a tip. When I left the salon, I spent some time sitting in my car because I felt terrible about this. I hate my brows so much. I was in tears of desperation. I abhor it. What a disgusting thing! Although I don't know if it can be corrected by more experienced artists, I will wait until it's healed. Additionally, the place looks awful! It is in a compact space in the salon. It's not what I thought. Jennifer is completely unsuited for her area of work! Before sticking the needle in my flesh, she ought to at least inquire about the color I like and make sure I was okay with it. I had to ask she told its espresso but it's black. I can't speak to the service, because I never had it. My review is on the booking process and why that led me to never have a service. I found Jennifer online and the pictures of her work looked good, so I reached out. She said she could accomplish what I was looking for, so I scheduled. I had arranged to be off work, had a mini lash fill day before my scheduled appt so as to not have anyone near my brows, scheduled when I could be sweat free for a week or more, etc. She texted me at 12am the night before that her daughter was sick and she would need to reschedule. Ok. I appreciate working moms and get it. Sure. But then she wanted to reschedule me a month out. I would have figured that since she had to schedule me again due to an illness, she would possibly work late one day, or come in early. Just to squeeze me in. Finally she found a date to work. This time, at 9 AM on the day of the scheduled appointment, it was raining. She texted me and said that the power was out at the salon in the city did not know when it would be back on. So I would have to yet again reschedule. I had again cleared my calendar, lined up a lash fill prior- all the things. Except this time, I called the salon in Georgetown. The power wasn't out. I had an appointment booked for micro blading which I had booked weeks in advance. An hour before the appointment Jennifer calls and tells me her daughter has a fever and has to get her from school. As a mom and business owner, I understood and happily rescheduled for the next day at 9 am. The next day I arrive at the Georgetown salon at 9 am sharp after traveling over 30 minutes to get to Georgetown. I wait around for 30 minutes for her, in which I text her and the salon calls her 2 times... no show... So I leave after 30 minutes. I don't hear a word from her the entire day. Finally at 4 pm, I message her and tell her that I didn't appreciate her wasting 1.5 hours of my time and how unprofessional that is. Not only did I waste 1.5 hours but I also lost money as I cancelled my own work meetings to accommodate for rescheduling this appointment. I informed her I would share my experience on social platforms. After this, she instantly texts me and says her daughter was in the hospital & she forgot to inform me she needed to reschedule & how this has never happened to her... However, looking at yelp reviews it seems she may have done this numerous times before.. Yes, I am a mother myself and understand your kid ALWAYS comes first... but I'm also a business owner & know it doesn't take too much effort to send a simple text that you can't make it She should have called and informed me she lost track of time and offer to reschedule but yet I hear nothing from her ... on top of that, she blocks me so that I cannot find her information to leave a review online. I never got my eyebrows done because she rescheduled on me last minute TWICE! The first time she canceled on me an hour before my appointment stating that she got sick it happens then she rescheduled me for 4 days later. The I get a text about 10am the day of my appointment stating that her daughter broke her arm and that she might not make it to my appointment. I get a text an hour before my appointment stating that she need time stay home because her daughter is still in pain. I understand things happen but canceling twice last minute is very unprofessional! I don't understand why people run a business like that. I'm very pleased with my brows. Jennifer was great! I had ombré with a little blading. She drew what she thought would look good on me, and said she would make my eyebrows the same color of my hair. I was so scared going in as I am older, I didn't want the big brows of younger gals - something suited to my age that wouldn't look unbelievable. She warned me that the color would be a lot darker for 1-2 weeks, and they were. Several of my friends had this done and they warned me that too. Her place is small, but you don't need a lot of space to do eyebrows. I love them, my husband loves them and my friends say how natural they look. And...
