I have yet to find a place that is reliable and upfront with their prices, and was pleased when Twins was able to give me at least an ESTIMATE of the cost prior to showing up with the dress. I know hems on dresses like this are time consuming and I have no problem paying whatever it costs, but the lack of transparency is always problematic for me. They did a wonderful job with the dress - it looks great and cost $95 for a hem (this was a lot of fabric and two layered, FWIW) and a shoulder strap adjustment. I am happy with the results and the dress was ready in a week! I will be back for future alteration needs.
