Terrible. This restaurant seems to be running a scam where if you order delivery, you pay through grub hub, the restaurant gets paid but they never deliver your food. Then you call the restaurant to ask about your order and they appear helpful, but the second they realize that you are on to their scam, they say, "no ingles" when you just had a full conversation with them. I went through this ordeal and ended up waiting 2 hours before i finally got GrubHub to cancel the order and refund me. Their Sushi is fine, but after the b$ll sh*t I went through and their obvious dishonesty, I will NEVER order from them again, even though they are so close to where I live. So Shameful read more

Stopped in here since it was a familiar place and since I was hungry, but this time I wanted to give their bowls a try. The Miami Shores location is much closer to me, but since 1 of us works in this area, I thought, maybe they do their bowls differently here than their other places... 1/5 Chicken Curry Bowl with drink $8.50 I had here was just horrid, as bad as I had at "Go! Bento" in Hollywood and that's on the bottom of the totem pole. I mean, why do these places friggin kill the chicken by over cooking, over microwaving their food? Damn, do they NOT KNOW the chicken came in dead already. If you look at my photo, the chicken is so dry and hard along the edges, you wouldn't even serve it to your friends who come over to visit you in your house, let alone charge a customer and PROFIT for this food. The portion here was also 50% less compared to their Miami Shores place...at least there you get more tasteless chicken. All they do is nuke overdone chicken, sauce it and call it day...it's like chicken jerky with curry sauce on top. The curry and potatoes is from an instant pack and can be heated in boiling water; in this case, it looks like they placed the chicken over the rice, dumped the instant sauce and potatoes on top, and then microwaved it. The hard edges of the chicken being so dried out explains it. 3/5 Beef Teriyaki Bowl with drink $8.95 was better than the chicken; the beef wasn't as over cooked, and somewhat still moist and not dried out. I just wished these places cooked their food the proper way and charge accordingly instead of taking short cuts and hiring simple labor to do a task they aren't trained properly to do. 3/5 Salmon Sushi $8.75 comes with a drink or soup and better than their cooked bowls. The salmon is quite thin and the rice amount is quite hefty but I guess that's to be expected for these prices. It's a cheap eat if you must sushi, and a better deal than at Publix where the rice is cold and hard. Their sushi deals are overall still much better with so much they offer, so if you're looking for that then this is your place, but stay clear away from their bowls or you'll leave completely disappointed. read more

Second time trying Iron Sushi, first time in this location. The location is in the new plaza nestled in between Starbucks and Wells Fargo. The downside is the lack of parking spaces out front since there are several retailers in that strip. I walked in and there was no line and I was greeted by the young lady with the friendly smile at the counter. I ordered the Latin Roll which consists of white fish, cream cheese and plantain on top of the rice. I know this combination steers away from traditional sushi but it was delicious!! At 6.95 it was decently price. At first I only ordered 1 and tried to pay with card but I was told their is a $10 spending minimum for card so I ordered another roll. I rarely carry cash so just a heads up! Overall, I love their wide selection of unique rolls. Service was quick and friendly. By the time I placed the order, walked to use the Wells Fargo ATM next door and back, the sushi was ready. It was great! read more

I finally got a chance to stop in to Iron Sushi and I will say I was a little impressed. I have been blessed to have been to many many of the sushi spots in town. I hadn't been to Iron Sushi as it seems more like a lunch quick bite spot. The menu seems less pricey than your average sushi place, but that makes me think it won't be as good. But tonight i ordered a few things for delivery. The gal on the phone took my order in no time but warned it could be an hour. 30 minutes later there was a delivery guy knocking at my door. I took apart the order on the table and I was pleased with everything. Even better there was enough prepped soy sauce and wasabi. Kinda rare in a to-go order these days. Everything was pretty solid. The gyoza was good size and tasty. The salmon and tuna #2 combo was excellent and couldn't have been better, especially for the great price. The "Crazy" roll was average, but again, pretty dang good for the price. The topper was the fun rolled up cheese cake. It had a banana taste to it and with the Chocolate Sauce it could be said to be exquisite. Over all a solid experience. For a to go order, it was quite good. read more

The sushi was good in quality except the raw tuna. I have eaten a lot of sushi and this tuna was not very fresh. I wouldn't say it was spoiled but it certainly did not taste fresh. Parking on Young Circle can be tough so I love that I can place an online order via Yelp! They have some pretty good lunch specials and combo items. I usually go for the lunch box specials, you can do 1/2 california roll, 1/2 tuna roll, spring roll and the daily special (sometimes that is fried tofu). They also have options with chicken teriyaki or beef teriyaki. Lots of sushi to choose from too! The dragon roll with fried shrimp is spicy & sweet but my favorite is the volcano roll! You can do full or junior rolls depending on what else you get to eat it makes sense to go junior. I enjoy the food but the only reason I gave 4 not 5 stars is because there does tend to be a wait even when you place an order in advance online. So give yourself some extra time but the food is really good! if anything they deliver for $3 charge. read more
