It's about 3 o'clock in the afternoon on Sunday 1/9/22. The place is not very busy. It is clean. I watched my waitress eating behind the line in plain customer view in between taking my order and bringing my drink. That happens a lot but as a former general manager I would never accept that kind of behavior. The food was good and served in a reasonable time.

Imagine a plate full of the scraps from other people's tables and you can imagine my meal. I was looking for some home cooking and I didn't want to have to clean up after myself. I've been to a number of truck stops all over the country and they're usually good. Here, the wait staff was friendly, even though they were probably very tired. I looked over the menu and ordered the Steak Tips and Gravy. I thought that $8.49 was expensive but it was one of the cheaper menu items. She mentioned that I could get soup and salad for $2.79 more, I believe. I declined. The salad bar didn't look particularly good and I'm not really much for those anyway. My food arrived and I noticed that the steak tips were tough when cutting them. I almost choked or one or two pieces. Then, I noticed something different. Some were well done and others were rare, possibly with every state of cooking in-between. The mashed potatoes were crusty and the texas toast on the bottom was okay. Still, it felt like they had taken my meal from several plates and pieced it together, as though several people didn't finish their steak and they cut off the remains. Once again, the service was good but the food was not. The store had typical convenience store items, plus a number of electrical devices for use while traveling, and a number of audio books and DVDs. The prices were a bit high, considering that Walmart, CVS, etc. were close. $11.43 for the meal with drink seemed expensive also, especially given the food. MCL didn't seem a bad option afterwards. I tipped, mainly because I doubt they could be making any money with the ridiculous wait staff minimum wage.

Good truck stop with the usual snacks, strong coffee, clean but busy restrooms, right off the Interstate. Some tacky souvenirs, a diner style buffet restaurant, the workers here are efficient and sort of friendly.

Not great. Price is way too high for quality of food. Keep going down the road and find something else.

Definitely a popular place. I noticed many construction workers but also several families with kids. The menu was fairly simple: burgers, sandwiches, burritos, chili, salad. Customers line up at the counter to place their orders. There were several cheese options for the sandwiches and burritos. There was an extensive breakfast menu. I would probably return for breakfast, but I wasn't overly impressed with the burrito I ordered for lunch. When I ordered a burrito, and was asked what I wanted on the burrito I started with asking for beans and rice. That request earned a rather puzzled look from the employee, and he said they didn't have beans. I guess I had just assumed that if they had burritos on the menu they would have beans and rice to put in them. So I just requested cheese and chopped tomatoes, lettuce, black olives, salsa, and chipotle sauce. The burrito was fine. The food quality was average to slightly below average. For example, an employee opened a large bag of shredded lettuce in front of me and dumped it into the bin. I'm guessing other ingredients were prepackaged and pre prepped. Employees were friendly and obviously this place is a local favorite. Prices are very reasonable. I would give it another try for breakfast but wouldn't order another burrito.

I found this out after I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with no bun. My burger was cooked perfectly, bacon crisp and they let you choose your toppings like subway. It shares a location with Shell. There is sometimes a line at lunch, but it moves quickly. They serve up a great breakfast, so they offer breakfast sandwiches or lunch on the cloud bread. I have also called ahead and they have had an omelette waiting for me when I got there at the drive-through window which was fabulous, it is right off of the interstate so you could totally call ahead and this could be a super quick stop.

The entire atmosphere was thoughtfully done from top to bottom. Finding out it was an old fire station made it even cooler. A restaurant + coffee bar + beer spot + antique store all in one? Absolute genius. Every corner had something fun to look at, and the vintage decor gave it such a cozy, unique vibe without feeling overdone. The food was amazing, the coffee was even better (still thinking about that vanilla latte ), and everything just felt welcoming and intentional. You can tell a lot of love went into creating this space. Honestly, I'm just bummed I don't live closer because this would 100% become one of my regular spots. Such a fun little stop and definitely worth checking out if you're passing through!

Why is called Coffee Bar when that's where you order food? The signs designating these spots are way high overhead and I didn't even see them till I was seated and looking at the ceiling. We came around 2 PM. The staff are very nice and helpful. Food prices are low; portions are sized accordingly and there's not much of a presentation. The chicken salad was quite tasty but needed much more mayo. Happily there's plenty of packets at the condiment stand. My husband had the Mediterranean Chicken sandwich. I took a taste and while the lettuce and beautiful thick tomato slice were quite fresh I just didn't pick up on any feta cheese or pickled onions. Maybe it was just an unlucky bite. The aroma of the coffee and baked goods made my mouth water. There are quite a few beer selections and they are reasonably priced. It's a hipster vibe in atmosphere and menu. Love to experience that avocado toast enhanced with microgreens and flax seeds. It's unlikely I'll be around here before 11 AM though, and would not make a special trip. Suggestion: put out menus on all the tables, add a sign by the handicap parking that wheelchair entrance is around the corner; consider doing all-day breakfast at least on Saturday. Mulberry & Main is worth checking out.
