We love going to the Ironton area. First time here, and we loved it! The food was very good, nice sized portions, our server was friendly and attentive. They have daily specials at a good price. Great burgers and onion rings (with some sort of awesome dipping sauce)! Casual local place to eat, very affordable with happy service. The air conditioner was out so it was a little hot inside but definitely worth a stop. read more

Perfect stop after exploring Johnson's Shut-ins State Park. The weather was beautiful so say out on their deck ... looks like the have added new deck space so that will be nice. Hard to decide with this menu...there was a little bit of everything. Great appetizer selection. We opted for the Mac & cheese bites & pretzel sticks. They were both amazing! For entrees, my kids chose the pretzels, and we had the thin crust pizzas. Hubby also added a side of wings which were just ok. Both thin crust pizzas were very good & plenty to take home for a late night snack. The draft beer sell was lacking, but the restaurant made up for it in their selection of bottles & cans. As I was traveling through the area, I found this place for pizza. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant side is very family friendly. I didn't even notice the attached pub. It was a very welcoming environment. The pizza was amazing. The additional option of provel cheese made it a creamy addition to the traditional mozzarella, the option to add is there. I also got the potato skins, which were great. Try the thin crust pizza, they don't skimp on toppings and the crust is wonderful. Prob won't be in the area again, but would stop by if I did! read more

This place is SERIOUSLY PHENOMENAL! We went there with our crew of 7 (4 little kids) on a Saturday and we felt like royalty from the time we arrived until we left. They have a fantastic menu with plenty of options for Everyone. We had the wings and they were amazing. They have any sauce from very mild to Burn Your Face Off which we of course tried and it definitely lived up to its name. My friend had one of the horseshoes and loved it and they have a great selection of drinks. The service was exceptional, food was terrific, and the place was clean. I had the nachos and wings and both were great on flavor and amount of food for the money. I will caution those who don't tolerate spicy food well to stay clear of their BYFO (burn your face off) sauce. I have had hot wings all over the country and these were some of the hottest I have had in a very long time. I enjoy very spicy food, so I loved them. My server was super friendly and very quick. I have eaten Gumbo all over the country, including New Orleans and I can honestly rate their Gumbo as the best ever. We've had other entrees to include Pizza, chicken, salads, and burgers and have always been very satisfied with everything ordered. They also have a nice collection of beer. The service is always excellent and very professional. This is a Gem in the middle of nowhere and is well worth your time and money. I live in the area so I go here quite often. read more

We ate here on a day trip holiday and were not disappointed. We had the gumbo, the big pretzel, and the Darth Tater. All was delicious! Don't understand the three and half star rating at this place. Amazing experience! Came with my family on a small vacation to visit family. We had a hard time finding places for dinner, since a lot of places close very early in the area. We decided to check the place out. Tons of seating, and we loved the outdoor patio. Service was excellent. They were with us right away and were quick to make sure we were getting our drinks and food quickly. Didn't take long to get it, and the best part was that the food was delicious! We were surprised at how good the food was based on our short wait. Prices were good too, considering the fact they give huge servings. Seriously, great restaurant! We loved the place so much we came twice! We even sat outside on the second day, and it was raining! Stopped by here on a whim while in town before a backpacking trip, and my boyfriend and I were genuinely blown away by how great the food was. Not only that, one of the owners (Wade I believe) was so friendly and hospitable. The food was so good that we returned post-hike to try out more items on their menu.
