Cozy brewery with friendly staff. Brian ordered their Oktoberfest beer but they only had 2/3 of a glass so they didn't charge him for it. So cool! Chris ordered the Silent Flight which I really liked. Lol. They do serve food with gluten-free pizza on the menu.

A cocktail menu. This was taken quite some time ago though, so I'm not sure if there is an updated one

They have a very nice beer selection and the brewing rooms are visible from the tables downstairs. You can watch them work with the vats. The beer itself was super tasty and this pizza...was DELICIOUS omg. They have an upstairs option available for seating, but I haven't been up there. There's also a patio available. Service was wonderful and I would love to return!

Delicious food. It felt like a local hangout spot, and the service reflected that sentiment. It was quick, but not restaurant speeds. My girlfriend wanted a wrap, but was told the lettuce was out, I'm not sure how common this is. Instead she just had the boneless wings. I went for the pub pass and outside patio seating. Unfortunately, the door to the upper patio was locked. This could be a number of reasons, either it wasn't busy enough, or it could be the whiskey/cigar class which was going on the second floor. Regardless of running out of lettuce and no outside seating, our experience was still met by the food, service and drinks.

We decided to head to trivia night at Iron Kettle with a friend of ours. It's really a pretty nice little bar - the atmosphere is rustic and it really fits well with the small-town vibe of Grain Valley. It also has outdoor seating, including rooftop seating which is pretty cool, although I don't think it's often used. I had the pulled pork sandwich, which was pretty tasty! My husband and his friend enjoyed their food and beers, but I really would've liked to see a few more healthy options on the menu - and maybe one or two vegetarian options wouldn't hurt either. Trivia was a lot of fun, and we actually ended up winning...so that was awesome! Overall, we were pleased with our experience! We'll definitely be back for another trivia night.

Stopped by Iron Kettle when driving through Grain Valley. We shared a flight. I didn't love the pumpkin seltzer, but the beers were good. Service was kind. It was getting busy as we left during happy hour time and was getting very loud - I would avoid it if you are looking for somewhere quiet

First let me tell you about the staff! I walked to the bar and said I was there to try out a new brewery and was looking forward to trying something light. They took great care of me and answered all my questions. I started with the Raspberry Hefeweizen and finished with beer 2 as the Irish ale. I also got the "adult nuggets" aka boneless wings. I order a small and got half Buffalo and half Garlic Parmesan. They were fantastic! I'll definitely go back, for just the staff to start.

We were SOO excited this place came to our little town! We went a couple weeks ago and sat at the bar. Super cool vibe and look to the place. The bartender was nice enough, but not attentive and wasn't the most helpful. We wanted to try some beer and some food, so I got a flight of their beer and we ordered some pretzel bites and wings. Based on the food and service alone, I hate to say it but I'd only be doling out about 2 stars. The portions were very small, the cheese dip was cold, and the wings were TINY. However, the saving grace of this place was the beer and the Kilted Brewing Guy who we got to chat with briefly. He was super nice and pleasant to talk with. And that beer!!! In a flight of 5, there are generally at least a couple I don't care for. Not the case here. All 5 were excellent!!!! So to be fair, it's a brewery. The star of the show is definitely the beer. Maybe try someplace else for food, but we'll definitely give them another chance later on. Maybe it was an off day on the food. But absolutely worth going for the beer!!

Beer was good, went in because of my Pub Pass. Didn't have food, but enjoyed sitting on the patio. If you're in the area, go check it out.

We had the caramel cream ale, which is in my top 5 beers of all time. Perfectly sweet and light. The peach tee kolsch was good too- a nice balance of peach. The cherry limeade wheat was right on the edge of sour. It was good that it was served in a smaller glass so we didn't do too much of it. We also did a shot of the stonebreaker cinnamon whiskey, which was a really nice collab between fringe and another local distillery. Super smooth with an oaky flavor on the background. Absolutely love the dark carnival decor, especially the pinball machines, the giant skeleton and the patio with a garage door interior. Highly highly recommend on every level. You should go!

What an amazing brewer in the KC suburb of Lee's Summit…read more First off the art work is eclectic and many pieces pay homage to the beers on tap. There is a story for much of the art work which I will not do a disservice by trying put it in a review. Go there, see it and ask they'll gladly share the story. Second, INCREDIBLE beers are on tap. I tasted 10 during my visit and every single beer was worth trying. My faves were: Freshly Squeezed Blueberry Lemonade Wheat, Apple Pie Milkshake IPA and Calliope Caramel Cream Ale. Finally, the most important part of the operation is the people. Every single person that was present made me feel welcome and like I was already a part of their community. WOW, I was left feeling like I'd made new friends which I know I did. I travel to KC at least once per year and every year I will return to support this awesome brewery. Thank you for a memorable experience.

They do offer food and have non alcoholic options. I didn't try the food because I literally ate right before coming here but I definitely want to try it on a return trip. They are dog friendly and I was thrilled to see and get to pet a big puppy who was there being a very good girl. The bartenders have all been super nice. They have a lot of beer. Over 10. I know because we ordered two flights which consisted of five tasters each and we still didn't try everything. But I did enjoy what we did get. They had a really good smoked porter that would pair perfectly with some bbq. And they also had a blackberry lemonade seltzer that was refreshing and perfect for this summer heat wave. If you're in the area definitely stop in.

They also had a paint/support fundraiser with the KC Zoo going on. I ordered a flight of 5 different beers with were all good with individual flavors and tastes. This will be a place that I stop in more when I'm in the area.
