The point of hog hunting, is to get rid of hogs. You pay to be on a Million dollar property and not to be bothered. I've come to this property and have been treated with nothing but kindness. They offer you a small fee compared to other ranchers and you are allowed 24 hours for the small fee, sorry, but you won't find that anywhere else. I'm honored to come and hunt, even if I leave with nothing.. The ONLY things they ask of you, is to leave the Bobcats alone and respect the property... For 200 that isn't much. Most Ranchers want 3-600 and that's for only a few hours. This family is chill as hell, people complain about the owner being drunk, dude, SHUT UP! It's is own property, I'd be drunk everyday too if I could. Thank you Storm Ranch for allowing people on your property and being kind with your hours and thank you very much for giving your hunters space. It takes a lot to trust people. This place gives peace! I've shot a Coyote while here and had a CRAZY encounter with Bobcats. It was sooo cool!

Blinds are a downgrade from an Andy Gump Porta potty. Folding Chairs, noisy, and uncomfortable for any period of time beyond 45 minutes. If one was able to harvest an animal, there are no walk-in coolers. They didn't even have a working ice machine. Seven hunters spent 113 hours on property over one weekend and never saw a single hog. Keep your money and stay away from this sorry run down property.

Had the whole lodge to ourselves and Sloane and Nancy served up absolutely delicious gourmet meals. Chance and Dylan were extremely patient, helpful and transparent with what they had to offer in terms of hunting and catered the entire experience to what I wanted. They are more known for their trophy elk and other exotics and although I did a "safari style" hunt which allowed me to see all aspects of the ranch and other exotics, they certainly offer hunting out of stands or other traditional methods but would definitely advise using their hunting rifles since they already come silenced, serviced and sighted in. I went with their taxidermist of choice who was recommended but little disappointed that they have an 18 month waiting list and would consider shopping around for other potential taxidermists as the only one downside.

booked a water buffalo hunt for my son for graduation. rain prevented going on the hunt every…read moreweekend it was planned just bad luck this went on for 3 months finally Danny said if it happened again he would give me a full refund, and rain again Danny agree to send me a full refund so I waited a week nothing text him said he was out of town would handle it when he got back another week text again he said his wife had refunded back to my card, checked my bank nothing he did not have any proof of transaction he told me his wife would handle it another 4 days and I text again. this time he told me it was not his problem to make sure the refund made it to my bank this was on the weekend and he sarcastically told me the banks were closed he would handle it Monday. it's tuesday night now and danny boy won't answer my texts I have sent 4. the level of unprofessional business ethic is unacceptable.
