booked a water buffalo hunt for my son for graduation. rain prevented going on the hunt every weekend it was planned just bad luck this went on for 3 months finally Danny said if it happened again he would give me a full refund, and rain again Danny agree to send me a full refund so I waited a week nothing text him said he was out of town would handle it when he got back another week text again he said his wife had refunded back to my card, checked my bank nothing he did not have any proof of transaction he told me his wife would handle it another 4 days and I text again. this time he told me it was not his problem to make sure the refund made it to my bank this was on the weekend and he sarcastically told me the banks were closed he would handle it Monday. it's tuesday night now and danny boy won't answer my texts I have sent 4. the level of unprofessional business ethic is unacceptable. I booked a hog hunt during spring break for my son. We confirmed prior to the scheduled hunt day. AFTER WAKING UP AT 4AM and an 1.5 HR DRIVE DB RANCH NO SHOWED US!. I called the owners cell phone which he said was dead. His help was to meet us at their shop on Bertram. I find out later he overslept. Great first experience for my daughter. Stalked a ram and shot a pig from the blind. Safe, friendly, good service.

A buddy booked a hunt here to bring his clients (who are from NY) on their first pig hunt. We left Fredericksburg do make it there by 5am. The dudes were Late and put us back 30 mins til 530 am. Guy shows up and is a complete jerk. No apologies, only drives up and says follow me. After the guy take us out with an attitude, he drops us off at a terrible, dirty blind. There is trash all over the property. Busted up blinds that smell like piss. Trash all over the kind. And others had some dumpy ground blind that they had to sit outside of. This place is piss poor. The animals we saw looked disgusting and looked like they should just be put out of their misery as a favor to them. I'm no PETA, but damn!! This set up was garbage and never recommend anyone to go there. Learn how to run an outfitting business guys! read more

1, They will not refund even though there is no shooting opportunities, their guaranteed shooting is only animal show up. ( this ranch is good for hog hunting, ram they will drop based on customer demand) 2, They will offer you to killing from the 6 acre pen ,they will not refund any money so every body forced to do that. 3, Wounded animal goes to the guide, not to the ranch or paid hunter. Here guide will do wrong hunting practice. 4, Very dirty cleaning station and processing area . 5, Multiple hunters at a time up to three groups 6, They will put you in a feeder there is no animal activities. avoid the feeder near the entrance 7, They drop animal as per customer demand. read more

I've hunted with DB Hunting Ranch many times over the years. Danny and them have always treated us well. This past trip Kathy helped us with the booking and Danny was our guide. It was the first hunt for my six year old and the second for my eight year old. Danny got us on a beautiful water buffalo that we were able to put down. The boys were thrilled. Danny took pictures and really made it a special memory for me and my sons. Over the years DB has steadily improved the operation to what it is today. He has every base covered, so convenient and fun. The addition of Kathy to the DB team has made the communication smooth and easy. Any time I had a question she was available and had the answer. She helped us with payments, processing the meat, she even shipped us the euro mount they did for us. booked a hunt with D and B for me and my dad my dad had to have surgery the Monday before are hunt called them up told them what was going on and they just told me to call them back when he is ready to hunt and the will reschedule are hunt. i have had my deer meat prosed by them and it all turned out good. i have also had a white-tell deer head mont done and it turned out really nice so i took in 2 elk heads to be done by them. i called them the day we left Utah and all the asked was for me to give them a 30 heads up to make it to the shop called them at 7:30 am and told them i was on my way i showed up a 8 and they where there ready for me when i showed up. D and B has been there for me and i could not ask for more. read more
