They have extremely efficient and pleasant personnel and the most reliable internet service I've ever had, with reasonable prices (that never get jacked) to boot....kind of the opposite from the ratbastard telcos you're used to. I cannot recommend them highly enough and if you're fortunate to be in an area/building where their service is available, you'll be sorry if you don't sign on.

Having been with a single service provider for over a…read moredecade one tends to be vary of the new upstarts when it comes to an essential service like internet. I was curious on switching my ISP as the fees kept creeping up and even with my well negotiated contract I was looking around for a new service source as didn't know what options I would have when renewing. I will give dotto one kudos for being persistent as after they initially got my contact they kept following up and even made it an easy decision to switch to their service with the penalty from the current provider. The installation was smooth and was done within an hour. I have a somewhat complex setup at home with some legacy equipment blended in with new tech. There was a technical glitch with the hardware on the legacy tech that made me connect with their support line a few times. They are quite helpful and being a smaller operation you even get the people who have dealt with your issue before hand. Believe me it's a big time saver not having to explain the issue again and again. With a few adjustments and troubleshooting on both ends I am satisfied with the service I have. I will update in the long run but so far a solid service. Update for long term usage. It has almost been a year and the service and support have been rock solid. A rarity IMO for the service industry in Canada. I am talking about no service calls requests after the initial issues, billing. The tech support went out of their way to help me out with a tech issue I was having initially. Updating to a 5 star rating (rare feat)

Poor service we paid for a 70 tower and promised speeds of 25 mg we can get about 20 to 22 during…read morethe day. But after 5 or 6 pm the speed drops to to 2 or 3 mb. You can reach anyone in tech support at this time but if you call them the next day they always have an excuse or say it's working fine. It's been a big waste of time and money stay away.

But Standard Broadband has to be the worst Company to deal with!! Since getting there service installed over a month ago... I have been dealing with nothing but issues of slow internet speeds of as low as 1 mbps download speeds as a constant. I have called in to there tech support over 10 times with the same results... Someone stating that they with "Look into it and call back" What a joke! I truly believe that is standard procedure to say that... and do Nothing. I have even had contact with the VP who basically did the same thing... and Nothing. I also emailed customer service over 10 times... Which they just started a "Ticket" in order to have my issues resolved... After multiple tickets... still noting. Instead of just admitting that there service is trash... and can't get me the 12 mbps that they promised and refund me... They strung me along with promises over and over again for a month!! My family was stuck not being able to stream TV, Movies and my kids were barely able to do there online school programs due to the Brutal service. Don't be fooled like I was!! I wish I googled them and read there reviews before calling them and paying them for this Horrible internet service. I wouldn't be in this mess. Please don't make the same mistake I did!! They tried to tell me that they can't refund me... But I'm thank god I paid with my Credit card that protects me from these SCAMMERS!! So I will be filing a claim with my Credit Card company... And the Better Business Bureau!!
