The food was fine, and it delivered what I needed when I got off a train late and it was the only place still serving food. If I had gone here for a regular meal I'd be much less happy given the inside smoking and food quality.

Came here to watch an England game during the Euro 2016 on a weekday around 2PM. Had a couple of…read morebeers and food. Although it was quite busy we had no issue getting food and drinks in a timely fashion. First Impression: Just like any "Irish" pub I have been to anywhere in the world, but with an extra floor. Very crowded (keeping in mind the game was on). Service: Was served beer at the bar quickly. We sat down at a table and the waitress asked us if we wanted to order food, we did but we had to take a look at the menu. Once we had decided what we wanted we only had to wait around 15 minutes for the food to arrive. Atmosphere: With the game going it was very loud, and a lot of people possibly on their way to/from the airport with all of their bags, so very crowded. For some reason all of the TVs were tuned to different channels for half of the game so half of the pub was on a channel which was 1 minute delayed. That was slightly annoying but eventually we got all of the screens changed to the same channel. Food: I ordered a veggie burger with chips. I was very impressed with the burger which was quite large and seemed to be homemade. I could easily say this was one of the best veggie burgers I have ever had, (forget the bland frozen small fried burger you get at many places). The bun was not very good though, mediocre bread. Nothing really special about the chips they seemed like average fluffy oven chips. The salad was nice and came with dressing already on it. Drinks: Selection was okay, exactly what you would expect from an Irish pub. There were a few craft beer choices of which I was surprised. I ended up ordering a pint of Sagres Lager. Price: In total the meal with a beer was around €14, which I thought was quite reasonable. Restrooms: Average restrooms that were clean. Nothing to complain about. Overall: A nice pub if you're looking to watch any UK or Irish games. Decent food and a nice selection of beers. Near the center of all of the tourist activity so as you could guess the prices are not exactly the cheapest but they are also not astronomical.

Not our scene. We presumed Principe Real is Lisbon's mellower gayborhood. Embedded in an affluent residential area, this is where we headed after a full day in Belem. Despite some navigational challenges, this bar was our first stop. If you happen to gravitate toward the bulkier, more hirsute members of your brethren, this is the low-key bar for you. Initially we were confused by the smattering of straight couples hanging in the front patio, but when we entered, the gay element was much more prominent. Groups of gregarious men in tanktops were at the various hi-top tables. Lonelier bears hung out at the smallish counter. It wasn't that crowded even though it was a balmy night. We managed to secure a table for ourselves and had a couple of refreshing 8,5€ Expresso Martinis (Photo 7). No thumping music, more '90's dance pop. It was quite chill. We had reservations for a party of 2 on a Saturday at 6 PM. When you check in, they give you a slip of paper which has a QR code on it for you to access the menu later, and we were promptly seated upstairs. The menu is conveniently available in several languages (you select your language at the bottom of the main menu page). We were at a long table for 6, with us sitting on the inside and another couple sitting at the end, and the table settings in between us were cleared, so it didn't feel like we were on top of one another. I appreciated that the server gave recommendations that would be good for two people. We went with most of his recommendations (shrimps on garlic sauce (it's labeled as spicy, but it's really not), clams on garlic, tiger prawns grilled on bed of salt) and added some of our own (razor clams and lobster roll). All the seafood tasted fresh, bursting with flavor from the buttery garlic sauce, which we sopped up with garlic bread. The bread is brought to the table when you first get seated. It's not free, which I was aware of, but I knew it would go well with the dishes we ordered. The razor clams were juicy and sweet. The lobster roll was good, but not something I would order again when there's so many other fantastic seafood choices. I usually don't drink beer, but felt that it was appropriate since we were at a cervejaria, so I ordered a bottle of Sagres Bohemia. It went perfectly with the seafood. My SO, who doesn't drink alcohol, got peach iced tea. I wanted to get the prego sandwich for dessert, but my SO was pretty much full at that point, so I ordered a tarte whisky and a cappuccino for myself. The whisky ice cream layer in the tarte was nice and refreshing. I was shocked when we got the bill and it came out to less than 50€. This meal would have cost so much more in the US. You pay via tablet at the end and I left a generous tip in appreciation of the wonderful meal and service. They get you in and out of there quick, but it never felt like we were being rushed out. I highly recommend this spot if you are looking for some fresh, delicious seafood in Lisbon.

You check in and then they ask you wait in their waiting area next door which looks a little bare and the outside patio seems like a smoking area. My favorites had to be the giant tiger prawn, razor clams, and the crab head, but everything was tasted good and the seafood tasted fresh. Would recommend!
