This bar wasn't far from where we were staying and we happened to pass by here almost everyday, so we finally decided to check this place out. The bar was still super cheap, and I loved that everyone was just here to enjoy a drink and chat with friends. It gives off a local dive bar vibe, which I really liked. Apparently there's also a rooftop (I was looking at the reviews here), but we didn't get a chance to check it out as it was nighttime and raining when we visited. Overall a great spot for cheap beer and good hangs.

Came here on our last night in Lisbon to enjoy a few last caipirinhas with a view, and this place did not disappoint. We were served pretty much immediately after taking a look at the extensive bar menu and picking our poison. I went with the black caipirinha, my partner stuck to the traditional one. We walked around the back to access the upstairs patio which was relatively empty when we first got there, but filled up considerably as the night went on. You can see the top of the castle lit up at night from the rooftop patio as well as lots of the city, which is really a sight to see. Our drinks were strong and well made. Definitely stop by at some point during your trip to Lisbon!

This place was down the street and had no reviews, but it was raining and we took a chance. And yeah, glad we did - as we came in, it was a small place and empty. We were told they only had pizza - but what pizza! There was about a hundred people inside singing along, and another hundred outside watching from the window. At one point the power went out and everyone just continued singing without skipping a beat. It was seriously one of my favorite nights in Portugal, and I'm pretty sure it was just a Tuesday.

His colleague, a very pretty, tattooed lady, was a bit shy but nice. Where else can you get a caneca and a bottle of Heineken for a total of only €4.50? I'll tell you where - the bar across from the train station in Tunes (Silves) down in the south of Portugal! But you won't hear any rock and roll there! The entrees were on the pricier side, which is something we didn't realize until the end of the trip - when we've had better food, better experience for a more feasible price. An experience that I was hoping to capture was unexpectedly shut down. Unfortunately, due to inclement weather, the rooftop was closed to the public. Still an order of cocktails were placed with the attentive server. Shortly thereafter, the tequila based cocktail and a chocolate cocktail were brought to the table. Both drinks were good with two different flavor profiles. The chocolate cocktail with a subtle hint of coffee reminded me of a dessert which could be ideal as a digestif. It also came with a chocolate twig which made the drink a little extra fun. As for the other cocktail, well I'm sure you know how it goes with tequila :) Both drinks cost about $27 USD which was a wee bit more than I anticipated to spend. However, if you could enjoy the views from the rooftop while sipping away a cocktail or two, it will be worth it. Finding this place was also a little tricky. I had to ask the locals to help locate this place. If you're having trouble getting here, be sure to ask the locals.
