This place is awesome. The atmosphere is old time Irish with a great wooden sit up bar and a ton of options for cocktails and different beers. I had the fish and chips and they were stellar with homemade tartare sauce. Overall one of my favorite bars in Lisbon.

Omg we had a great time at O'Gilins. Great vibes, great live music. They played all the hits. Everyone was singing along. Great drink selection as well. We'll definitely be back next in Barcelona.

I think that it gets too busy and you do not have one dedicated server, so with people wanting to sit inside we got ignored a little bit outside. But to be fair, there were only about four tables of people outside. It would be good if they had a dedicated outside server. We ordered a steak and fries, and a salad and soup with the accompanying covert of olives bread and butter. The food was a little above average and they listed the steak as being a grilled steak but it was obviously pan fried. It came in a cute little pan with the fries making the appearance a little nicer than average. They cut the state perfectly it was stared on the outside and pink in the middle. Not a lot of seasoning but the steak flavors were able to shine through. The salad was just a simple bed of iceberg with some tomatoes and a few sliced onions, but I find that to be very standard for most of Europe. The soup was very standard soup for the region which is actually quite tasty, it just needs a little salt and pepper. It's the same vegetable soup that is in most restaurants, so it is probably pre-prepared but I do like it. It always comes pureed, so if you think you're ordering a big hearty vegetable soup (especially in an Irish pub)be prepared, in almost all of Europe they purée their soups. It was a cute little place on the main walkway with the view of the river and the cable cars. It's a very touristy area so the price was great for such a touristy area. I would just recommend that they train their servers to be a little more on top of the people outside and perhaps a little more friendly. I have attached photos of the menu and the drink menu so you can see the list in advance.

Meh. I actually went to two Irish & Cos in my trip to Portugal (don't ask...was with a group that…read moresought the familiarity of an Irish pub). This is the only one I actually ate/drank at, as I really didn't want to be in the one in Porto (ended up being a good decision). Anyhow, ate at this one with a friend. To be fair, both the drink and food prices were pretty damn good for such a touristy location. That is the only redeeming quality. The fish and chips were not remotely good. Super greasy and oily without a hint of crisp. House wine was acceptable enough. Going back to Lisbon soon and won't be back.

The food was fine, and it delivered what I needed when I got off a train late and it was the only place still serving food. If I had gone here for a regular meal I'd be much less happy given the inside smoking and food quality.

Although it was quite busy we had no issue getting food and drinks in a timely fashion. First Impression: Just like any "Irish" pub I have been to anywhere in the world, but with an extra floor. Very crowded (keeping in mind the game was on). Service: Was served beer at the bar quickly. We sat down at a table and the waitress asked us if we wanted to order food, we did but we had to take a look at the menu. Once we had decided what we wanted we only had to wait around 15 minutes for the food to arrive. Atmosphere: With the game going it was very loud, and a lot of people possibly on their way to/from the airport with all of their bags, so very crowded. For some reason all of the TVs were tuned to different channels for half of the game so half of the pub was on a channel which was 1 minute delayed. That was slightly annoying but eventually we got all of the screens changed to the same channel. Food: I ordered a veggie burger with chips. I was very impressed with the burger which was quite large and seemed to be homemade. I could easily say this was one of the best veggie burgers I have ever had, (forget the bland frozen small fried burger you get at many places). The bun was not very good though, mediocre bread. Nothing really special about the chips they seemed like average fluffy oven chips. The salad was nice and came with dressing already on it. Drinks: Selection was okay, exactly what you would expect from an Irish pub. There were a few craft beer choices of which I was surprised. I ended up ordering a pint of Sagres Lager. Price: In total the meal with a beer was around €14, which I thought was quite reasonable. Restrooms: Average restrooms that were clean. Nothing to complain about. Overall: A nice pub if you're looking to watch any UK or Irish games. Decent food and a nice selection of beers. Near the center of all of the tourist activity so as you could guess the prices are not exactly the cheapest but they are also not astronomical.
