She did an amazing job with my brazilian wax and took notice of the little hairs that usually I would take care of at home after going to other waxers. She puts time into her waxing and provides consult for maintenance. Her space is inviting, warm and is always very clean. She has a variety of different waxing services (check out her website!). Today, I finally explored her facial offerings and it exceeded my expectations! It was the most thorough 1 hour facial I have received and she was very mindful to address my concerns and help me feel relaxed during my session- something that is important to me as a new mom. I've been going to Iris for 3 years now, and I don't know how I am just now leaving a review. I first went to her with a sole service in mind (eyebrow waxing) but since then have received numerous services from here varying from facials, under eye/underarm brightening, leg waxing, and have had milia spots removed as well. I was introduced to Iris by a family member in 2021. Iris has been my wax and skin care lady since, and there is no looking back! I booked appointments with her through her website at least once per month. I look forward to seeing her because it's like hanging out with a friend. There is always parking right outside her business. Her workspace is clean and serene. She always makes your experience enjoyable and relaxing. I was her client while I was pregnant and she always made sure I was comfortable. She does wonderful work with wax (ie eyebrow, upper lip and underarms) and uses natural ingredients. I have known Iris for 5+ years and have always been 100% satisfied with her services. She is kind, gentle, easy to talk to, and environmentally conscious. she uses only the best products that are gentle on your skin. I recently had issues with dramatic hair loss and told Iris about my problems. We discussed the issue and I told her about possible causes. She suggested I try her hair loss treatment in hopes of stopping the hair loss and also re-growing my hair. For the last month and a half, I have done the hair loss treatment with her and just finished my last session today. With the utmost confidence I can say that my hair has doubled in density since our first session. Instead of seeing fist fulls of hair that's fallen in the shower, I only now see one or two strands of hair. I also see so much regrowth on my crown. I have been a loyal customer to Iris for almost three and a half years now, and let me tell you..SHE IS THE PINNACLE OF PERFECTION. I first met Iris while she was working at a different establishment; being that I fell in love with her compassion and drive for quality care, it only made sense for me to follow her once she opened up her own business! I've had my share of awkward waxing experiences (especially with Brazilian waxes), but Iris makes everything so comfortable! Seeing Iris every month feels like reuniting with an old friend, no matter how many days we don't talk, it's like we never lost connection. One of the main reasons I adore Iris and her new business, is her focus on eco-friendly/natural products. Iris knows EXACTLY where her wax is from and the story of the person who created it! The wax she uses is biodegradable and doesn't contain polymers (plastic) that most waxing places/wax products use (A DEFINITE PLUS BC OUR EARTH ISN'T ITS BEST RIGHT NOW). As a licensed esthetician, Iris will soon be offering facials, and to add to her love for earth friendly beauty, she also sells all natural beauty products at her salon! (Ask about the honey!) Upon entering the parking lot, the salon is a little tricky to find but give Iris a call and she'll do what she can to meet you outside! Once inside the building, you'll see how easy it is to find her door! Her waiting room is small and quaint with a water dispenser and various business cards (one of which is hers). Another door leads to the actual salon/ waxing room and my goodness is it cute! The room is decorated with purple and lilac/lavender colors, soft relaxing music plays through her speakers, and a Himalayan salt lamp adds to the blissful setting! All of Iris' materials are neatly placed alongside the wall of the room, it's actually very aesthetically pleasing to look at! I'm a stickler for CLEANLINESS, especially when it comes to waxing and the human body, this place is spotless! Another main reason I ADORE Iris is her quality of work. At other places, waxers rush to accommodate all their clients, and end up doing a sloppy job. During my Brazilian, Iris did the initial wax, but went back and TRIPLE checked that every hair was gone. When that was done, she fine-tuned and even grabbed tweezers to pull the stray hairs the wax couldn't pull (SHE WENT OUT OF HER WAY TO PULL WHATEVER INGROWN HAIRS SHE COULD). Once done with my appointment, Iris put on a soothing serum, and was quick to fully clean and sanitize every inch of the table, as well as discard all the soiled/used items. She has a wooden shelf filled with all natural goodies that you can purchase at your leisure, and Iris knows every detail about every item! In terms of payment, Iris accepts various forms, including cash and VENMO! I was able to pay for my wax "passes" on two different platforms. She also includes a breakdown of how much a wax is (arms, legs, face, etc), and how much you save if you "BUY 3 GET 1 FREE". Iris also provides a disclaimer and a written document in regards to her services (which she keeps organized by patient name). Booking/rescheduling/canceling your appointment is also a breeze through her website! I will continue to go to Iris for the rest of my days, and encourage everyone to do so as well! She was the first person I went to for a bikini wax (recommended to me by my sister, who has been going to her for much longer). I am 51 years old and have never had a facial. I am visiting from Texas and my sister-in-law treated me to a facial. I was a little nervous not knowing what to expect. Can I just say it was amazing! Iris was very thorough in asking me questions about my skin and then letting me know what she was going to do for the facial. I don't do much with my skin care so not sure if I am sensitive to anything. What impressed me more was that she said when she put on a cleanser she could see how my skin reacted so she then adjusted what she would do for the treatment that day.
