The employee told me they were backed up and wouldn't be able to diagnose it this week unless I signed up for their membership, which would move me to the front of the line. I told him I wasn't interested in a membership. He then said it would cost $165 for a diagnosis. I pointed out that their website states diagnostics are free, but he ignored my question and continued trying to sell me their $39/month membership. After I declined again, he explained that the $165 diagnostic fee would be applied toward the repair. I asked what would happen if the repair only cost $50--would I receive the remaining balance back? He said no. He then said I would only have to keep the membership for minimum of two months, and I would receive a discount on the diagnostic fee. At that point, something didn't feel right, so I decided to leave without having them service my console. I then took the same Xbox to the uBreakiFix on Harbor Boulevard. The employee there told me they would inspect the system, call me with an estimate if repairs were needed, and that there would be no charge unless I approved the repair. Based on my experience, I would avoid this Bristol Street Santa Ana location and take your business elsewhere.

I honestly have no words…read more As someone who's pretty apprehensive about stuff like this, I spent a good amount of time researching the best places to take my laptop to get repaired. It's an older laptop, but it's a powerhouse, and I really didn't want to see it go. To be honest, I originally thought it was just a battery issue. After their inspection, I found out the motherboard and pretty much everything else was fried. I'm not going to lie, I was a little nervous knowing the follow-up conversation about next steps was coming. But Alex, one of the people who runs the shop, was not only upfront and honest, but took the time to explain everything to me and walk me through the best options. It never felt like a sales pitch. He genuinely seemed like he had my best interests in mind, and based on my past experiences, that's pretty rare to find. They ended up replacing my motherboard and even let me keep the old one. On top of that, they went out of their way to clean and repair two buttons on my keyboard that I didn't even ask them to fix. I thought that was incredibly kind and really says a lot about the level of care they put into their work. Value was definitely there, fair, and worth it. That kind of white-glove service is really hard to find nowadays. Alex and the whole team, if you're reading this, I'm seriously so grateful for the time and care you put into my laptop. I know it's an old one, but it carries a lot of sentimental value for me, so being able to keep it going genuinely means a lot. You guys have a customer for life. Thank you

My iPhone suddenly went black. I had the same issue about a year ago, and replacing the screen…read morefixed it. This time, this shop told me it was definitely a screen problem and worked on the phone. Later, they told me the logic board was also bad and wanted to charge me extra to replace it, so I decided not to continue. After I took the phone home, there was a white line on the screen, and the phone became extremely hot. It never overheated before the repair. I cannot say for sure if this was caused during the repair, but before the repair, the only problem was the black screen. After the repair, it had serious overheating and a white line. Based on my experience, I do not recommend this repair shop.
