This place is amazing. I walked in with a problem on my iPhone. The audio jack wasn't working and needed to be replaced. 2 minutes in Charlie just opened it up, tested the unit and found that it was working just fine. There was ABSOLUTELY NOTHING wrong. I don't know what happened but it sure wasn't working when I had it. Well he patiently explained to me how the audio jacked worked in the phone. He tested it again and again it worked just fine. As embarrassed as I was I greatly appreciated his patients and energy to want to educate me knowing the place was closing. I will be coming back here for all my needs. Baited and Hooked. This whole situation started when i brought my cracked iphone x here to be fixed. I came in prepared to pay for the more expensive, premium quality screen but was advised against it by the Older Asian gentleman who is the owner. He suggested i buy the screen that is $55 cheaper so i said ok. Big mistake. The next day, i pull my phone out of my pocket and something smashed the screen. So i took it back in and was told there was nothing that could be done due to physical damage on the screen and that "sometimes the cheep screens crack". I came ready to pay for the quality i wanted but was duped into paying for a defective item intended to break so i would come back in and pay another $150. Save yourself the headache of dealing with this trash establishment and go to a mall kiosk. This place is NOT WORTH your time. He didnt even offer me a deal to fix the screen he replaced two days prior, he was going to charge me full price to do the same thing all over again. Ive been there three times already, because my phone is cursed apparently, and every single time these gentleman have done an exceptional job at a fair price. This place is super friendly, has great service and is very affordable! i was recommended by my friend because my boyfriend's iphone 4 screen shattered completely. In the summer my iphone screen shattered too and i got it replaced at a sketchy asian place for $100 for 3 hours and they didn't do a very good job because i found dust particles trapped in my screen. When my friend recommended this place i couldn't believe how cheap it was. It was actually that cheap. $60 ($63 with tax and everything) and you literally watch the guy take apart your phone and replace your shattered screen for 20 minutes. The service was great. Came because I dropped my iPhone 7. They gave me a quick quote online, so I came in without an appointment and was in and out in a half hour. They change the screen right in front of you and show you all the tests checks to make sure everything is working. They are so shady! They seem nice at first but they are so shady. I brought my phone 4s in to change the aluminium part around the phone. They charge $100 and we had to pay up front. When I got my phone back, the power button did not work! and the sim tray part missing! iPhone vs. sidewalk.... Final score: Sidewalk = 1, iPhone = 0 So I came in because my iPhone screen was in desperate need of repair. Charlie fixed it in about 30 minutes. He let me sit and watch the entire process from beginning to end. During that time, he told me he fixes about 100 iPhone screens a week... kinda crazy. Total bill came out to $70 and change after tax. Pretty reasonable. My phone looks brand new now and works beautifully. ATTENTION!! BUYER BEWARE !!! WARNING !!! DO NOT SHOP HERE !! CROOKS, LIARS!! AND THIEVES!! Pretending to be nice to customers and they will also steal your passwords. These people are thieves. we bought an i-phone here, yesterday and they sold us an IP-S under the false pretense that it was a new phone. They hand wrote a receipt with no warranty, no box and no earphones came with the phone. They gave us a cheap plug and charger from their bags hanging on the rack. When i asked for the warranty the guy said the phone came with a warranty from the manufacture and showed us on his computer screen , he also said the store had a 30 day warranty. When we left I noticed the receipt didn't have the warranty written on it at all. I went back to ask for the warranty and he reassurred me again that it was a new phone, He printed out a warranty from the computer that was expiring in 8 months. This time he said they sold it as is like a new phone. When i asked for my money back he said they have to charge me a restocking fee of 15%, that was only a matter a 10 minutes that I left and came back,, that he said he was going to charge a restocking fee, and $10.00 for the sim card. So we left and came back the next day after we called the Apple store, The Apple store and they said a new i-phone should come with a box, new charger and earplug for that phone, and we should not be charged for a sim card. Apple also said the phone they sold us was either used or stolen. When we went back the older man didn't give us a full refund after we told him the printed warranty they gave us expires in April 2015, That is only 8 months. the man ignored us and still charged us the restocking fee and did not give us our full money back. So altogether with the metro pcs service and their other charges it costs us $182.00 to bring the phone back. We paid $634.00 for an ip the man said was new and was not a new phone.They got money off of us for nothing. We ended up with nothing and a activation to Metro PCS with only one bar in our area, with no phone now. I would not recommend doing any business with these people, they're not honest and they're crooks. be very careful unlocking or repairing your phone here they will ask for your password, to activate your phone or to port your number to another phone and keep your password. They are in the business to steal your money and unlock stolen phones and sell them. Notice i had to give them one star in order for this to be posted, if no stars it won't be posted. This information is posted only to help other customers from getting ripped off, all that happened at this store is true and there is no personal vengeance. We are upset about this and hope it won't happen to anybody else. I think they should make it right and still give us our money back. Oh And Mr Charles you came up with more lies on your reply to my review instead of giving the money back you stole from us. That doesn't fix the problem. The phone was used and your son who sold it to us stuck a clear paper seal on before we left to make it look like it was new. During the whole time the phone was outside on the table with no seal. Your son took it out of the safe with no box no, seal. Your son even called it while I was there, there was no seal. You all admitted it was sold like new!! So what kind of a trick is that. Don't lie to customers, Apple doesn't like you for misrepresenting their phones. You don't even have the same chargers, and ear plugs, that Apple has with their phones. You have cheap junk hanging on your racks. Also, all these high star reviews I can bet are made up by you and your little store employee, son. It's all a trick. I need to get my phone fixed quick, so he even called Jason back into the store, even though he was heading out to his lunch. They gave me great and immediate service! He even fixed everything in front of me, so that I could see what he was doing. He fixed my screen, but spent another 30 minutes on it because he noticed that there was a weird twitch on the corner of the screen (which I didn't even notice) but he insisted that the phone had to be perfect! the price they gave me was unbeatable as well!
