It was my first time going to Le, so I didn't know what to expect. I'd read reviews and had friends in the area recommend him. I'm glad I listened. And let me tell you, the end result looked SO much better when I picked it up! Everything he said to me, he was absolutely right about. I came out she took pins right away and started to hem the pant up. I said how much she told me the price. I said ok that's not bad, but I'll be back because I have 2 pairs and I want to make sure which size of pant I'm going to keep and also bring my cowboy boots in with me since I want to wear these pants specifically with my boots. I wanted to make sure the length was right with my boots on. Mind you I simply came in for a quote. From the moment I told her this she unpinned the pants and completely walked away from me and ignored me as if i was non existent and a nobody. She was so RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL. No customer service etiquette at all. It was so bad that she knocked on the fitting room door to rush me out the store as I was changing back into my original pants I walked in with stating that their was a customer needing to try on. While she had 2 other open rooms "this customer" could have used to change. In my entire life I have never been treated in such a way. She priced me well and I had every intention of coming back, but based on how she treated me a potential customer I absolutely will not come back nor will I recommend this place to anyone. The owner was super nice and very helpful. I tried on my dress and the shoes that I was going to wear with it and she immediately started to give me suggestions and listened to my concerns. My mom and I have been going to see Thuan for a few years now to do basic alterations on our…read moreclothing such as, hemming, taking things in or out, etc. She always does a really good job and you can see that she's a perfectionist that cares about how the finished product will turn out. *BUT* I got to see Thuan's talents really shine when she altered both of my wedding dresses with only 6 weeks to go before the big day. I got married in January 2020. I was a super organized bride and my wedding dress was the first thing I ordered to ensure that it would arrive in time. But not everything goes according to plan as these things tend to go. Even though I ordered my dress in May of 2019, it didn't arrive until 6 months later, in November 2019. The bridal dress store recommended a tailor that was going to charge me over $1000 for alterations due to it being "rushed". On top of everything else, I had lost quite a bit of weight during the wedding planning process and my dress did not fit me properly after the 6 month wait. Luckily, I had prior experiences at DT and knew that I can go to Thuan and not be charged an exorbitant price. Thuan helped me alter the dress right away. She had me come in for weekly fittings to get the dress to fit just right piece by piece. She put the finishing touches and made sure everything was perfect with the dress with a week to spare. She's quite the life saver and told me she was excited to be challenged by such an intricate dress. And this is what I really love about someone who truly excels at their job- they gladly welcome the challenges that would terrify people who are only decent at their job. All at a much more affordable price too, I might add. Wedding dresses are the hardest item of clothing to alter. If Thuan can fix my delicate dress, she really is able to do anything in my book! Polo Tailors and Cleaners did a beautiful job removing the blood stains and steaming out the old seam lines, as well as ironing out wrinkles in the dress. Also, they charged me a reasonable price, less than I was quoted at other reputable spots. As soon as we were home from the Hill Country wedding, I came back to entrust the post-wedding cleaning to Hoa at Polo Tailors and Cleaners. The wedding day had been drizzly, and the hem and train of the dress were muddy. Hoa, who had helped me so well the first time, got out the mud stains. She also declined to charge me extra for the mud stains. I have not yet had a chance to use their services for alterations, but I was able to watch them measure another client who wanted to have a suit taken in. I think her prices are fair given her value of work. I've gone places much more expensive before and been unhappy with the outcome and had to wait nearly double the time to get my items back. She spends adequate time with you making sure it's pinned up just the way you're wanting it done and pays attention to detail.
