I do see that they have VIP seats for maybe five euro more that sits you in the very front of the bus on top and I think that would be worth the upgrade. There were a variety of teas plus hot chocolate and they give you unlimited refills. The food was good and plentiful and they give you to go boxes if you want to take something home. The bus has cute decor and they give some commentary as you drive around Dublin.

We also added the Howth seaside cliff tour, which ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. The coastal views and scenery were absolutely breathtaking. Overall, the entire experience was fun, informative, adventurous, and full of opportunities to explore. We got to see so much in a short amount of time without feeling rushed. Dublin is such a gorgeous city with so much history and charm, and this tour package made it easy to experience all of it. They have tons of pamphlets on activities, tours, events and places to eat. If needed they will give one on one attention to assist you in booking tickets for transportation, theater and hotel stays. Maps and books are available for sale and you can also exchange money here. I was told that they can assist in four languages. (English, Italian, Spanish and French) For me the building housing the tourism office was the real star. It is stunningly beautiful and sits in the center of town. The church was built somewhere around 1862 and served that purpose until 1993. The Church of Ireland sold St. Andrew's in 1994. It has three levels and is over 19,000 sq ft. The first floor is massive at almost 9,000 sq ft.

My trip to Dublin was planned like the true procrastinator that I am. I was just finishing one job and due to start a new one in a week's time. I just knew flying to Dublin would be a relatively easy break, but I had next to no clue what to do when I got there other than the tips I got from a random sampling of YouTube traveler advice videos. In my typically aimless fashion, I ended up at the Dublin Tourist Centre, housed in historic St. Andrew's Church, on Suffolk Street. Inside are a series of tour company desks and kiosks set up much like the car rental counter at an airport. They all provide competitively priced tours going to the same places throughout the island. It was here that I impulsively decided to make a booking the next day to Northern Ireland, in particular, to see the Giant's Causeway. After booking with one company, I noticed that the pick-up time was too early for me to get from my suburban hotel to the meeting spot outside the building. I noticed their competitor picked up their passengers an hour earlier. You would have guessed all hell done broke loose since the agents didn't know how to process a cancellation on their PCs. They tried to convince me that I couldn't cancel, but the ugly American came out of me and they relented. Regardless I am grateful this office exists because I wouldn't have experienced many of the 39 other things I already reviewed.

Been planning to take a trip with these guys for a while so, as a treat, we booked three one-way…read moretickets to Howth. All the protocols were observed, hand sanitiser, masks etc. It was a very nice day so we perched on the deck for the entire trip. It took about an hour for the crossing, great scenery and a chance to see the city and environs from a different angle. We then had lunch in one of the myriad restaurants on the pier and took the Dart back to DL to pick up the car. Highly recommended for a different way to spend your afternoon.

The boat only arrived 15 minutes after that. - The crew was a bit too rude Don't do this if you get seasickness, it sounds obvious but a lot of people were very seasick and two even threw up. There will be waves, especially if it is a windy day.

In fact, I want to give them praise for the driver's attentiveness, making sure the passengers were safe, and the company being expedient in getting a new bus out to accommodate the rest of the tour. The Cliffs of Moher are one of the most beautiful sights I have ever laid my eyes on and we were blessed with great weather on this particular day. Sunny and not too windy (our visit was at the end of February but not sure how typical this is for that time of year). I believe we were allotted 1.5-2 hours at the Cliffs which we enjoyed every minute of. The stop in Doolin for lunch was charming and I was impressed with how quickly they were able to serve us. Unfortunately, we were not able to experience Galway on our tour due to the technical difficulties but I appreciate them being mindful of the schedule. I want to give particular praise to our driver and guide Kevin, who was absolutely fantastic in not only getting us there and back safely but is full of fascinating information on Ireland's history. He sang a song or 2 along the way but he couldn't answer any of the questions asked and barely spoke. He dropped us at stops going in blindly. He was an older gentleman, so I understand the low energy but perhaps time to hang up his hat. As first timers to Ireland, I chose the Dark Hedges/Giants Causeway/Belfast tour because I was infatuated by photos of the Dark Hedges I saw online. I had no idea it looked NOTHING like it. It was really a waste of a stop. Giants Causeway was nice.. great photo op. It's a long walk downhill, then back up. Luckily, there was a bus that operates both ways for £1 (tap cards accepted ). We heard there was opihi in Belfast and found some along the way (we're from Hawaii). Super windy that day so we were getting flown all over the rocks. Only stop on the tour that was worth it. Next stop, Belfast City Centre. The tour guy dropped us off near City Hall with absolutely no direction. He told us about a mall nearby, but that's it. Anything worth seeing was already closed. I really wished he would've gave us more recommendations about what to do, where to eat, or anything worth seeing in the short amount of time we had there. After walking around City Hall, we walked to the mall to use the bathroom, stopped at a souvenir shop, then headed back. Total waste of time, again. 100% DO NOT RECOMMEND! Sadiy, I purchased the tickets for this tour after the price had gone up about €10 from their 2025 prices. Tour was also supposed to end at 8pm but we got back by 7pm because he kept rushing us. Leaving early from stops. Felt rushed the whole time. I feel it was a total waste of money that could've been used elsewhere.

We also did the Ghost bus tour. They were very accommodating. We missed our 7 PM time to get on because our cab didn't get us there on time. But we were able to get onto the 9 PM tour. These people were also very accommodating while I was using a folding wheelchair this night. This tour was scary and funny too. Our hostess Susan was the best!
