Well I assumed my issues would be fixed after taking it to the PC repair shack however, when I got home, I noticed that it was still running slow so I called however I can't seem to get a hold of anyone and no one answers the phone.. Also I noticed that a piece of my laptop was broken on the left-hand corner, which was not broke before I took it in. It's like someone accidentally dropped it and put it back together and did not tell me that it was dropped prior to me picking it up. Eclipse back on, however I have to put a piece of tape to keep it in place so I won't continuously fall.

Of special note, this particular computer uses software for the blind, i.e., it provides a screen reader from which individuals who cannot see to have the page read, aloud. For these individuals, personal computers are, literally, a major life-line to information, and especially, many forms of communication, which would be difficult for those of us who are sighted, to imagine. In addition to the above, when the work was completed, Greater Cincinnati Computer delivered the computer to our home. What a kind and most appreciated gesture, on their part. I am AMAZED! John A. fixed my 5 year-old computer. Although I didn't let it crash, I knew it was…read moreclose. Called asking for advice about rebuild or just buying a new computer. He spent almost all night researching the computers I was thinking about and also told me the options I had for my Toshiba. He gave me advice about what new computer to buy - even though he wouldn't be making a penny if I went that route! I decided to let him fix my Toshiba. The hard drive was corrupted, RAM low, Video card failing. John gave me several options depending on how much I wanted to spend. When I asked him what he would do if it was HIS computer, he was totally honest. I decided to go the step up from what he would do and I am SO impressed with my computer again. I just ran a program that normally takes 1 1/2 hr and it was done in 20 minutes! MOST IMPRESSIVE - He quoted me a price before he started the real work on replacing parts. I asked if that included labor - yes. However, because of some of the programs I had loaded, he was up again almost all night transferring from my old hard drive to the new one. He knew I needed my computer back by a certain date to complete a project for work. Because I had to wipe and reload this computer once before, I know how frustrating some of those programs can be! BUT even with the extra time he had to put in, the original price quote DID NOT CHANGE! I will recommend MTS and John to everyone I know. Just sorry I didn't ask for several business cards to pass around. I will do that when I give him my daughter's computer to clean up.
