After having a terrible Brazilian wax experience at a different salon, I was pretty confident I would never try waxing again. I found myself taking a trip to the beach, and not wanting to have to shave every day. I did some research, saw all the positive reviews for Trudy's Wax Bar, and decided I would give waxing another try. Let me tell y'all, I'm so glad I did! The salon itself was very clean and had a relaxing atmosphere. Trudy was so friendly and knowledgeable. She also doesn't try to sell you a bunch of random products that you don't need!!! I will only use Trudy for my waxing needs in the future and I recommend you do the same!

I've been a customer for over a year and I have NEVER experienced having my requested services broadcasted for everyone to hear. When I mentioned it to the receptionist, she claimed that's how they do it and that everyone's services are called out. That's a LIE. They are usually wearing headsets and no one hears what everyone is getting. Good riddance. The receptionist is rude anyway. The only reason why I lasted this long is because of the treatment I got from my esthetician, which was always welcoming and professional!

It's been over a year now and RaRa is no longer my wax specialist ): Although, she is the manager at this Corporate location. She recommended me to another gal, Bre, but she transferred to a different EWC. My recent visit was actually a week ago. I made an appointment on the same day for 6:45pm and it was BREEZE. I walked in sooo afraid because every seat was taken (spring break time)....but they called me in exactly at 6:45pm. Danielle was my specialist this time and she was FABULOUS. She wasn't talkative but she took her time and made sure every ingrown hair was out. Seriously...like every ingrown OUT; they always say it's best to use the ingrown hair serum but I've been too lazy too apply it after I shower, but since Danielle waxed me I haven't gotten a bump or ingrown hair! She's AMAZING.

The entire time the esthetician was waxing me I would try to make conversation with her so we can get to know each other and she would always reroute the conversation to selling me a product or products they recommended. Then the checkout process was also chaotic because instead of me just paying they were trying to sell me something even after I said no and this happened multiple times. The vibe I got was that they don't care much about the customer but about the sales they receive from them. Almost like the workers are robots not actual people it was uncomfortable.

She asked for me to take off my top and lie down, but she didn't leave the room. She put the wax on and it was very hot. Then boom no countdown or nothing! She was done so quick! I put my shirt on, tipped, and left. When I was in the car my underarms were so sore, and the pain lasted for about two days. Not to mention that there was still hair left after all that pain.
