I worked with Sheila for my wedding this past June and I honestly can't say enough about how amazing the experience was. I had been cast aside by several other florists before contacting Sheila because of my budget and was relieved that Sheila was more than willing to work with me. Since I knew close to nothing about flowers I was a bit overwhelmed with where to start, but after the first few minutes of meeting with Sheila I could tell that I was in good hands. Sheila guided me through every step, including providing photos of flowers and price ranges to get started. She really listened to all of the my ideas about what I wanted for the arrangements, as well asked for photos of my dress, bridesmaids dresses, and event locations to help her better understand the look and feel of my wedding as a whole. She was able to use a photo of my grandmother's wedding bouquet for inspiration for my own bouquet (which I adored!), and even suggested using different shades of flowers for the bridesmaids bouquets based on the color of their dresses (each had a different shade of purple) which looked absolutely amazing! I literally started to cry when she brought the bouquets to me the morning of the wedding because they were so gorgeous! My photographer even commented that she had never seen such beautiful and unique bouquets! The centerpieces at the reception were amazing and were more perfect than I could have envisioned, which just goes to show how good she is at what she does. On top of that, the flowers lasted nearly a week, and we used most of the centerpieces from the reception at a barbecue we hosted the following day. Overall Sheila was an absolute joy to work with. She was the one vendor I was working with that I didn't feel I needed to check up on. I knew that she would deliver on everything; look, price, and quality. She is very professional and I always felt that making sure the flowers at my wedding were everything I dreamt of was as important to her as it was to me. She has an amazing eye for what she does and you can tell that she is truly passionate about her work. Ipomea was one of the best vendors we worked with for our wedding. Everything from the first meeting to the day of went fantastic. My now husband and I know absolutely nothing about flowers. Besides...they look pretty. We knew that we wanted fall colors and that we wanted something a little different than the norm. Sheila took what little vision we had and turned it into stunning arrangements. She sent an entire email full of different pictures of types of flowers and what her ideas were for each table and the bouquets. Wow! I have seen Ipomea's arrangements for all sorts of weddings and thought they were just gorgeous. But I was super impressed with the simple beauty of a single arrangement I ordered for my classroom. I lovely late-summer bouquet of soft orange roses clustered together in a sleek glass vase made my room look both serene and vibrant. Sheila did the flowers for my daughters wedding. She was a dream to work with. We were flower novices and she was kind and extremely patient. My daughter wanted a flower in September that Sheila said she could get but since it would be out of season it would also be quite expensive, she gave my her several other choices that all looked very similar but were in season. Sheila was a dream to work with. I contacted her for my post-destination wedding reception back at home and she did an amazing job with developing centerpieces for all of our tables. We received several compliments on the day of the reception from our guests, but I knew weeks ahead of time that they would look great based on how professional our interactions were and the pictures of what our arrangements would look like in advance.
