Patty was an absolute pleasure! She was very attentive to details and was so helpful from the planning process to the end. I love Patty! I contacted her for wedding flowers when another florist blew me off... which seems to have been a blessing in disguise. Patty and I collaborated solely via email, with me sending pictures, and her offering up ideas. I guess that could've seemed risky, but I felt like she got my vision right away. We just clicked. And she never once made me feel like my relatively small order was too small for her to bother with. It's no exaggeration to say I was stunned when she delivered my flowers. They were gorgeous! We worked with Patty for our wedding this past weekend and I cannot say enough good things! We had planning meetings where she listened very carefully to my very unclear descriptions of what I wanted. When I brought samples of pictures of things I liked to meetings she didn't just tuck them away, she asked what exactly I liked about the picture to get an idea of flowers to use (because I didn't even know some of their names) and how I wanted them arranged. She was really enthusiastic and encouraging with my theme, even adding details to vases and centerpieces to match my bicycle themed wedding. I had a large bridal party (9 bridesmaids, 11 groomsmen, and 5 ushers, plus 3 flower girls and a ring bearer, plus Godmothers and readers) and Patty took care of them all! The arrangements were also sturdy, with many wedding guests taking them home at the end of the night. My now sister-in-law even sent me a picture of her bridesmaid bouquet the Tuesday after the wedding. She's using it to decorate her dining room table, after carrying it through a wedding, a humid photo shoot in the woods, a trip on a party bus, a six hour reception, and then drive back to Minnesota. We hired Patti for our September Wedding after she did an amazing job for my cousin's wedding. She was friendly and super sweet. What she promised was not delivered. We had 2 very lengthy meeting were I provided pictures of everything from the cake to the Mothers' bracelets. The swags for the gazebo were tiny and not what we expected, the Mothers' braclets came on cheap ribbon, not the pearl bracelets that were discussed (twice?), my husband went into detail about these 6 foot branches/centerpieces that were not delivered and my bouquet died before the end of the ceremony. To top it off no flowers ever were placed on my cake...I was left with a plain cake! It looked terrible in photos. I was very disappointed and emailed her when we got back from the honeymoon. I used Oh My Floral for my wedding and was so happy with Patty that I used her again for a Bridal Shower I threw my Sister-in-Law. She absolutely loves what she does and it comes through in her work. We hired Patty to do the floral for our May wedding. We wanted very simple, inexpensive floral on the tables and on the chairs lining the aisles at the ceremony. We had made lots of our own decorations and Patty also offered to arrange them for us -- including hanging a somewhat complicated origami crane mobile from an archway. The awesome: Patty was very reasonable, incredibly flexible on budget. What Patty did looked very nice and we were pleased with it. She definitely listened to our requests. My bouquet was full of beautiful orange tulips and my bridesmaids and groomsmen flowers were also lovely. She did a beautiful job with our reception table and the guest tables at the reception were simple but very nice too. She used the pinwheels and origami cranes we made to create adorable details on the cocktail reception tables. The decorations that were there were sweet and exactly what I wanted. Patty is also a sweetheart and seems to really enjoy what she does. The less than great: My mother in law never got her flowers and neither did one of my special guests. Was I supposed to make sure they got them? If yes, I wasn't aware of it. Trust me, you're not thinking of other people's flowers on your wedding day. The head table had no floral at all. The ceremony aisle had no floral at all. I emailed Patty after our honeymoon and she said the cocktail table decorations were supposed to be moved into the reception space to decorate the head table. That would have been great, but who was supposed to do this? She also said that since the chair covers were set up late (completely true and my fault -- I dragged my feet moving our ceremony inside due to weather!), the floral in the ceremony space couldn't be set up in time and it went directly on the reception tables. This did not detract from our ceremony in the least, but we weren't notified that some of the floral would be missing as a result of the chairs. We really liked working with Patty. And we think she provided good service for the money. But we also felt communication could have gone more smoothly so that we weren't surprised on our wedding day. read more

I recently used Patty for my wedding in July after 2 people I knew recommended her. My initial impression was that I was getting a great deal, I should have known from the get go it was too good to be true. Every contract that Patty sent to me had numerous things that needed to be corrected. When we meet Patty and me came up with 3 different centerpieces for my tables. The day of the wedding when I walked into my venue only 1 of the 3 was close to what we talked about. I was told there would be "ton" of candles on every table, there might have been a total of 10 spread throughout 26 tables. None on my head table and gift tables. She was also providing photo frames with all of my table numbers. Although she was aware of the number of tables at the reception, 5 tables had no frames. Instead the thin piece of paper was placed on a table stand flapping in the wind. I did not think I needed to specify what I wanted the corsages to look like because every corsage I've ever seen has had a few small spray roses with filler and greenery. The corsages that showed up that day were one large wilted rose. I was embarrassed for our moms to wear them. Also we were missing our only grandmothers corsage. For the picture that was painted to me during our meetings, I was sadly disappointed with the product that was delivered. My bouquet and the girls bouquets were very pretty, but the flowers looked like they had been sitting out all night, not fresh. I thought I was over reacting until family members later mentioned how browned some of their flowers were. When I reached out after the wedding to state how dissapointed I was Patty was not professional enough to email me back. That is bad business to me. read more
