This theater used to be great when it was the Gold Class. Unfortunately after a name and management change, it has gotten progressively worse and we finally decided we won't be returning. During our last trip, after booking specific deluxe seats ahead of time over the phone, we arrived and were given different seats. We went back and asked for the seats we had booked and they they said they were not available, but finally gave them to us. Once we got into the theater, it had not been cleaned. The blankets and empty glasses and dishes from the previous customers were still at our seats. After cleaning our seats, we waited for the server to come, which didn't happen until another frustrated customer left the theater to get the server who then came running in to take orders. The seats themselves are getting worn and most or all of them squeak when you recline. At $10 per seat, I could live with these problems. At $27, I can't. read more

We went to see The Dark Knight Rises on opening weekend and weren't sure what to expect, but were hoping for good things as our tickets were pretty pricey. Our seats were clean and super comfy and came with a pillow and blanket on them. I was seated the end so could open up the side compartment and throw them in there until needed. The only problem with the seat was that it made a loud farting noise as it moved up and down, so I was careful not to switch positions during any quiet parts! The waiter was very personable and took our order during the previews. I had read the reviews on here and wasn't expecting to get our food until an hour into the film but it actually was served before the previews were even over! The food was good (the mahi mahi sliders were amazing! (but bring a wet wipe if you get them). The only "complaint" we had about the evening was that they switched our cards so one of us was charged more than should have been. All in all, it was a great experience and we will totally be going back again! read more

I have such a hard time going to a regular movie theater after my visit to iPic. Talk about the word, "LUXURIOUS!" You walk in and your mouth drops. Its like a sexy, chic lounge with all-natural ingredients in their AMAZING cocktails. I could not have had better service and I just truly felt special being there. To have the attentive staff make sure me and my girlfriends felt welcomed, taken care of and that we had a drink in-hand is all I could ask for. The food is fabulous and I love just grabbing my drink and making my way to my movie theater at my leisure. The vibe is so cool and chill you could enjoy a date, drinks with the girls or even a chill watching a sports game with your buds. And to have reclining chairs with a fuzzy blanket and pillow to boot?! ITS OVER I will never go anywhere other than iPic Theaters again!!!!!!!!! read more

You need to make an account in order to buy a tickets online. I only needed one ticket, and I didn't like the fact that I wasn't able to reserve a seat anywhere in the theater. I could only book a seat next to someone else. I like at least one seat between me and a stranger. The non Premium Plus seats aren't very comfortable, and don't recline at all. At Lincoln center you get reclining seats for $4 less a seat. The popcorn was burnt, tasted slightly fishy, and Thread the worst theater popcorn I've ever had. Sure you can get a drink in your seat, if you can find a server. Go to Lincoln center and drink at the Parlor or Lucky Strike beforehand. read more

So today, I finally went to the Ipic Theater in Redmond (at the continuing prodding of my other half). Didn't know what to expect, but upon entering, angels broke into song! The place was beautiful, had a wine bar, and express food service off to the left as you enter, and the ticket counter and full service bar at the right. We got our tickets and looked around for a little bit. Full service wine racks at the wine bar....expensive, but so cool looking. We decided on the full service bar instead. For the first time, I had a drink called the "Apple Lion Beer-tail". It was apples marinated in Amaretto and ginger, mixed with Mac and Jack's African Ale and something else.....not sure what it was but it was DAMN GOOD. Absolutely the best drink I've ever tasted. My other half had a plain Mac and Jacks. We sat for about 15 minutes with our drinks, then made our way into the actual movie theater (choir of angels following us all the while). We took our seats off to the back right of the theater. There was a nice, warmy-warm blanket and a pillow, waiting for me, at an electric, reclining seat. Then, a waiter came up and took our orders. I ordered the Angus Trio - three angus beef sliders with applewood bacon, sharp cheddar, romaine lettuce and tomato. Tater tots (with bacon ketchup) and mozzarella sticks with marinara as sides. And of course, another Apple Lion Beer-tail. I have officially died and gone to movie heaven. The movie was Star Trek, and our food arrived just as the movie started. Ohhhhh....ahhhhhh. The movie was great, and the servers came back twice during the movie to see if we needed anything else. I decided to have one more Apple Lion Beer-tail. The bill came just as the movie ended. It was a little spendy, but you get what you pay for....definitely worth the money. I highly recommend this experience to anyone that wants to spend a little money or splurge a little, as I was definitely lifted to a higher place. 5/5 stars! One more thing....the theater is not crowded at all. Even full to capacity, the seats are so roomy (and they recline ALL the way back), that you don't have to worry about bumping into anyone or getting in anyone's way. Keep in mind that this is the full service seating in the back of the theater, not the front rows (which are not full service, but still allow food and drink to be taken with you - you just have to go get it yourself). read more

I'm a member here and have been going regularly for a couple of years. The experience is usually great; no waiting, reserved seats, etc. I liked the new seating when they changed as well. Last two occasions have been sub-par. For $50, I kind of expect good service. The last two times, I have had to literally tell the staff to leave me alone during the movie. The first occasion came with two people felt it necessary to interrupt me three times in 20 minutes to see if I wanted anything. Last night, the server told us "I walk up and down the aisle so just signal" Except, he stops by to ask if you want anything. Then he stopped by to see if I'd signaled. Then he stopped by to clear plates away by leaning in front of me. At this point, I looked up and said "Please GO AWAY!" You'd think that'd do it. 20 minutes later, he leaned in front of me to place the check folder upright on the little table so it stuck up into the film. I'll still go there once in a while, but now I've made a note to tell the wait staff ahead of time to not bother me at all during the filming and it's no longer my 'go to' theater. Also, would it kill the place to get some new 3D glasses? Every time I see a 3D film there, I miss so much because it darkens the film.... read more

My husband and I have been going to Ipic Redmond for about four years. At the beginning, it was sporadic. In the past couple of years, we've been fairly regular. Our initial few times were Premium Plus seats. Since then, we've mostly sat in the Premium seats. In recent months, we've become increasingly unhappy and it has nothing to do with kids being allowed in the theater, it's the cocktails, and now I had a sad moment with the food, while attending alone on Saturday. Premium Plus, for us - while the seats are wonderfully comfortable, we ended up not liking the interruptions during the film, for both us and the people around us. Premium - If you arrive early enough, you're able to order both food and drinks and bring to your seats before the movie. Even if you arrive later than you want, you're still able to order food and drinks and for the food, you'll be given a pager to let you know when your food is ready. Works for us, both for price of the seat and being able to have cocktails and dinner. Kids - We/I haven't experienced any issues with kids. And, have actually enjoyed bringing one of our kids, whom is 13. He's attended with both off us and just with me. I would definitely speak up during the film, if I felt there were issues, as I would with adults who cause problems during a film. I haven't experienced it at Ipic but I have definitely heard people around me barking at other ADULT attendees, after the film, that their neighbors had been less than respectful to others - there were no kids present. Side note - we generally go to earlier show times - no later than 7 or 8. We have our favorite cocktails and food. We were able to find those things because we were able to order them multiple times. The past few months have been a HUGE disappointment with the cocktails - The last SIX times we've been at the theater (at least six), they either didn't have the alcohol necessary to make the drink, or didn't have the other items to make the drink. And, they've also made the drink and didn't bother to tell us before making it that they didn't have the proper ingredients. What's the point? I genuinely go there for the ability to get exactly what I want and then watch a movie. Otherwise, I'll go have dinner and then go to a movie wherever a movie I want to watch is playing. During my alone visit on Saturday, I was late and ended up upgrading my ticket to Premium Plus that was away from everyone, so as not to bother anyone, including myself :-) I ordered the chicken Caesar salad - not the Caesar I know at ALL - apparently the Caesar salad you get when you order yourself isn't the same as the one you get in Premium Plus :-( I'm gluten free. The Caesar you get when you order yourself comes in a fun bowl, with dressing you dip into on the bottom and the chicken is on skewers. The bread is wonderful - in long crunchy strips. I can't eat them but they're easy to take out. The Caesar I received in Premium Plus was two strips of romaine with small chunks of chicken, smothered in dressing and small croutons poured over the top, which meant bread smushed into the rest.. Also on the plate was about 6-7 plain pieces of romaine, a small cup of dressing, and some of the long crunchy strips. It was a poor presentation, whether you're gluten free or not. My husband was a hard sell to get him there in the first place, four years ago. It took me a long time to convince him to keep going back. He's a movie junky and this venue allowed me the extra perk to join him. We became regulars. Sadly, we're both not happy anymore. If we can't get what ON THE MENU, why spend the money? read more

Not very clear how to maneuver through the theater or how to catch wait staff attention for orders if this is your first time at the IPic Theaters. THE GOOD: The premium seats IN THEORY are well worth the money....( If you can figure out you ticket price) reclining oversized seats,blanket,pillow,waiter who comes by every 30 minutes to fulfill your food and/or drink needs, free popcorn,relatively small theaters feel more intimate and comfortable so you aren't all up in the personal space of some stranger or that awkward moment you realize you are sitting next to a left handed person she you both go to put your soda in the cup holder... That doesn't happen with the premium seats there's a table I front that you share.you get there early have a drink and take it into the theater with you. Their bathroom is huge with full length mirrors a dressing table and good lighting. THE BAD: mind you what I'm about to say definitely isn't enough to stop me from ever going to I-Pic but you should be aware.... First off they will give you a free membership so you can save a few bucks on tickets but they will charge you 51.00 for 3 tickets and the face value of the tickets ( which is printed on the tickets) will say $12.00 per ticket when you ask why the cheery girl at the register will say oh I typed I in wrong sorry. But I've been there enough to know it happens every time once I paid $48 for 2 tickets but the face value was $15 each. Not sure if I'm the one getting scammed or her boss but with way unethical but still totally worth the higher price. I ordered a salad and asked for no cucumbers or onions when it came out there were cucumbers so in 30 minutes when the waiter came back around I let him know and he happily and quickly brought out another one without cucumbers but with onions since we were so far into the movie and the buffalo chicken spring rolls were great and filling I just took I as a loss. The first time I went my blanket was all crusty and dirty at one end but since no one was I the seat next to me I just tossed it said and grabbed another one. When I took my daughter to see fantastic 4 all she wanted was popcorn and we asked for it 4 times before I finally just got up and got it from the concession area myself. Either I had a bad waiter once or the waiters really cant get you candy from the concession area. Oh and I you want service through your entire movie don't go to the last showing at midnight. If you do about 45 minutes into the movie the kitchen closes bar closes and the waiter seems to disappear other than to give you your popcorn halfway through and have you sign the bill 10 minutes before the movie ends so defiantly don't go to a late night movie read more

I love iPic! It's worth the extra money. The chairs recline and you can snuggle up with the provided pillow and blanket. The cocktails are delicious ( I requested a jalapeño margarita...best I've ever had). I ordered the lobster roll with truffle fries and it was so yummy. Our first experience was awesome ! We saw the James Bond movie and my daughter saw Hunger Games. Loved the pods concept and luxury seats.

The seats were lovely, the staff was very nice. As for the food... The spicy tuna appetizer was wonderful and it went downhill fast from there. Six coconut shrimp out of a box for $14? The pizza I had was covered in very bad cheap cheese, cool in the middle and soggy also not thoroughly cooked. The dough seemed premade and to be honest I have had better frozen pizza. My husband had sliders that were dry. No sauce just blue cheese crumbles and caramelized onions. At the price of $19 that needed something more to make it special. Yes they were the filet sliders but there were just ok at best. The red velvet bread pudding was nice idea though red velvet doesn't usually taste as good warm is it does cool to me. When we spend 100 bucks on dinner we want it to be good and this was just a dispointment. We feel that there are better theaters out there where dinner is close. For dinner and movie combo we're going to stick with cinebarre. At least there they use real butter on their popcorn and actual fresh mozzarella on the pizza as advertised. read more

We have a love hate with ipic. The venue is awesome the.lounge chairs are awesome. We have been there no less than six times in the last few months to watch all of the nominated films. We had guest in town and took them there as well. The love hate is the waiter service. It's great or terrible. Last night watching the movie the waiter took the food order and wS MIA for ov half an hour. Never even got us our drinks or water. He finally showed with the drinks and we reminded him we had ordered food and again ask for water and the included popcorn. The film was half over and he brought the popcorn but forgot the water. We reminded him he brought the water towards the end of the film with the check. Extremely frustrating. This has happened with another waiter a few semaphore ago ,Ike they fall into. Black hole or something. I'm thinking I should just get food and drinks in the lobby there and carry everything in and forget about the table service. When we had guest in town it was it was even more annoying as I spent the better part of the movie looking for the darn waiter while our guest watched the movie and offered to just go get food and drinks from the lobby. read more

I have been going to Gold Class cinemas for a couple of years now. Since our New Years Eve (2010) visit there until today, 09/07/10, the service has continued to deteriorate. Food arrives very late into the movies and often in wrong order, desert before entree. It is very distracting to have to keep pushing the call button for help three time to repeatedly order something to drink because the wait person forgot to bring it the last time you asked for it. For an upscale experience the service is a complete let down these days. Is it worth paying the high movie ticket prices for cozy seats and sub-par service? read more

I LOVE this theater! It is classy, comfy, clean,everything you want in a theater AND you have a table at your seat for your drinks (yes, there's a real bar) and food (and a nice restaurant). Best part? Customer care. We were in a movie a couple of weeks ago when there was a fire alarm and we all had to exit. We couldn't go back into the movie until after the fire dept checked it out and by then it was too late. We were comped passes for all 3 of us plus they charged back the amount of the tickets to our account, and they gave us a $100 gift card to cover the food and drinks we had gotten that day. They definitely made up for the unfortunate circumstances. read more

I wanted to give 5 stars, I really did. The food was amazing, the drinks were phenomenal, and even the movie was great (which I know management has no control over). I have 6 kids, so for our anniversary, we elected to do dinner and a movie and I remembered that some theatres have both. As I said, the drinks were phenomenal. My wife had a martini with rumple minze and salt. I had their salty espresso martinis, and a Belvedere on the rocks. I feel like I need their drink recipe book. We ordered a coconut shrimp appetizer that was so tasty, we ordered a second. I had the fillet slider trio, and my wife had the chicken. We will be back even if there isn't a movie we want to see, just for the food and drinks. All that being said: The service was as bad as the food was good, and unfortunately it wasn't the server's fault (at first). We were told by our server that he was the only server for 3 theaters. This happening was the fault of management, for cutting servers loose too soon. Him telling us was either him keeping us informed, a plea for a larger tip, or both. If my wife wouldn't have had to ask 3 times for a glass of water, I might have believed it was him keeping us informed, and not a sympathy plea for forgiveness for bad service. It took long enough between round 1 and round 2 of drinks, that I ordered 2 at a time to keep pace with slow service. Slow service is forgivable. The food and drinks were great, and makes almost everything else forgivable. Forgetting water wouldn't be a fatal error, if he forgot other things throughout the meal, but he didn't. He ignored the request for water, because (in his mind) zero-dollar items don't affect tips. By the end of the show I was so frustrated I elected not to tip our server. Having been a waiter, leaving nothing as a tip is not something that I do lightly. That's when the real problem occurred. As I checked my bank account this evening, I noticed that there were actually 3 charges from iPic Redmond. The first being the tickets that I ordered online (amazing process). The second was a pending charge for 1 dollar less than my total, and the third was a processed transaction for my exact total. Having been in the service industry, the only way this happens is when a card is run multiple times for different amounts. The second time my card was run was retaliatory. Our server thought that he should have received a tip, and so the card number was processed twice. This resulted in me having to take the time to contact my bank and sort out the issue, and I have better things to do. I'm not going to call the server out here. Karma tends to take care of these things for me. read more

I was there at the tail end of the Mariners game last Thursday. On a first date, Yeek! We stopped by for a drink. My date won tickets to a game in a raffle. Sweet! Was a great time. We have had really bad service the past several times we have seen a movie here. We love this theater as it's in our neighborhood, but the staff have continued to not service us and have made us wait while they talk amongst themselves. We have waited several times for the conversations to end, but they still don't regard the fact that we are there. This happens on week nights when they aren't busy as well??? So I am writing this as a former big fan of Gold Class, and we've been going there regularly since they opened. Maybe that is the problem. I remember when the service was outstanding....when they would escort you to your seat after a leisurely cocktail in the bar area....when they would immediately bring you a pillow and a blanket....when they would be prompt in their service to your seat....when they would actually get the order correctly....when they the food tasted a whole lot better than it did last night! None of that is true any longer. What a huge letdown and disappointment last evening was. We waited and waited for service in our seat and I finally had to get up and go find the server on my own. And then for some reason, not one part of the order was correct. It took three visits before even the glass of wine and the coke were delivered properly (how hard could that be!). Unfortunately, the lack of service is killing this place and it's no longer worth the premimun prices. read more

My boyfriend and I enjoy going to IPIC once a month for movies we are especially anxious to see. This time it was Guardians of The Galaxy 3D last showing at 11:40. We received our tickets and sat down realizing they didn't give us our glasses. After 10 or so minutes a girl comes up and she seemed winded and breathy asking us about drinks. We order and ask for the glasses we never recieved. We also let her know we wanted to order food but were not ready yet. She said okay I will grab some glasses for you two. She leaves and the previews start. After the 2nd preview my boyfriend decided to just get the glasses himself. She never came back to to take our food order. Eventually other people came in to serve drinks. We had to ask them for our food. Everything was good for a while but my boyfriend's drink ran out. So he asked the girl passing out popcorn (which was burnt) for a refill. She also never came back. We asked the first girl who served us on her last rounds and she finally stuck to her word and my boyfriend received his refill after so much hassel. For how much money we spend on tickets and being frequent customers I expected so much better. I gave 2 stars for the movie being great. read more

To all of the those bad reviews out there, you must all be pretty stuck up to give this place a 1 star. I'm a stay at home mom of three boys and decided to take my husband for his birthday. We went to see the last installment of Harry Potter. We paid extra for the premium plus seating, which was a huge orange leather recliner, a large fleece blanket, a pillow, complimentary popcorn waiting for us when we sat down, and piece of mind of paying up front for a good seat. The waitress was prompt, quiet, and sooooo nice. We ordered our lovely food just before the movie started and it came about 15 minutes into the movie which was perfect. I had the fish and chips, which for $13 was amazing. 4 huge pieces of beer battered cod with hot french fries with tarter dipping sauce. You couldn't even tell when they came into to serve us our food because they were so quiet and respectful. The theater wasn't jam packed so the experience was chill, quiet, and I felt like I was at home without my kids!!! It was a perfect treat and I felt completely spoiled! Minus the cost of food our tickets each were $22. At any regular theater it's already $15. I will always pay an extra $7 from now on to have that kind of treatment, food, and experience! First I would like to say this is by far the best movie theater I have ever gone to and now I only see movies here. But the last time I went to see Kingsman on Thursday, February 26th in the evening, I usually sit in the Premium Plus seats but this time I was seeing it, there were only Premium seating available so I decided to just try it out. I sat in the family friendly area before the movie started and our server had the most positive attitude and made sure to keep checking on us even after we got our food just to make sure we were happy that I think even when I go and see other movies there even if I am sitting in Premium Plus I will still come early just to eat in Tanzy Express area again because that was probably the best service I have received from any server anywhere if I remember correctly she said her name was Jenny so if anyone goes or is wanting to go to Ipic Theaters in Redmond I would definitely suggest going and having dinner in the Tanzy Express area because you will have wonderful service. read more

Went here for a NYE package. Spent almost $200 for the two of us. Three separate employees told us the system: enjoy the appetizer bar, use the two drink tickets, order dinner to be eaten in the theater, and then have the dessert bar after the movie is over (chocolate fountain with many dipping choices). We could also go to the lobby at 12:00am to toast the New Year with a glass of champagne, but we'd miss part of the movie. We decided that wouldn't be necessary. After we got out of our movie, at 12:20am, we found the dessert bar to be cleaned up. Everyone seemed confused. We spoke with a manager who told us they already put it away. When we complained, the staff started bringing out cookies, doughnut holes, and plates, but no chocolate fountain, fruit, or rice krispie treats. We found the manager a bit later (she seemed to have gotten "lost in the kitchen") and expressed our disappointment, that after spending so much money, the last part of the evening was ruined. I mean, who wants to eat dessert before dinner? Did they expect us to come out of the theater while the movie was rolling, get our dessert, miss a part of the movie, and then go back in to watch the rest? It felt like the plan was to get the employees out of there quickly, so tearing down the dessert bar would certainly help, but that doesn't seem to be what the employees knew to be the plan. The three DID say the same thing about the system, after all. I'm guessing the manager made the decision to tear down early, and for that I say, not cool. And she didn't even take responsibility, saying it was the employees' fault. Also, not cool. read more

As an avid filmgoer I decided to give this high priced theater a try on my birthday. On that special day when you buy 1 ticket the 2nd ticket is free. The only catch is to signup for free as a Gold Class member & any show is a mere $22 instead of $27 during weeknights & $32 on the weekend as a non-member. I went on a weekday afternoon with the 1st show starting around 3pm. They verified my birthday took my credit card & from a seating chart selected where my wife & I would like to sit. There was 1 other couple behind us with a seating capacity of 40. There online menu said they have fish & chips & I was told they no longer carry it. We decided to split a pizza & they took 45 MINUTES to get back to us. I mean Pizza Hut has been to our house under 30 minutes. The theater was small but had very nice seats with leg recliners & a call button. The lobby is very impressive with a fireplace & bar. I doubt I would go back unless they reduce the admission by at least half & we would just order a drink. As a theater that serves alcohol most shows are restricted to patrons 21 & over like the nearby Big Picture also at Redmond Town Center are both located on the 2nd level read more

I went there based on the recommendation of a friend. It is a very upscale theatre that offers a great place to relax and watch a movie without children running around everywhere, crying during the movie, up and down every 5 minutes. It was so nice. You have to be 21 and over. They have very nice bars that are moderately priced and a great selection of tapas. When you get to the theatre is is broken down into to major sections. The basic ( which is still quite posh) and the premium section. There is seating maybe for 75 in a theatre. The seats come with menu so that you can continue to order tapas and alcoholic beverages up to 20 minutes into the movie. There is button at you chair that you can press to call the waiter. This is definitely how a bar, meets movie theatre. Ingenious idea!!!!!!!!! Who ever invented this deserves to go to heaven! Lol. This is my new favourite spot for movie- viewing. read more

While I really like this place and will continue to go back, I feel like this place is self sabotaging with the food. While we love the premium seats, the popcorn they give for free is almost more salt than popcorn. The food from the in theater menu is expensive and for the price, could be a bit better and more than what it is. The chicken and french toast is 17 dollars for a few pieces of fried chicken tenders and 2 sticks of french toast. While delicious, the value isn't really there. Then if you go with something like the $14 dollar slider trio, be ready to fork over an additional $8 or $9 for fries. Add in a soda and you are at $30 just for one person after tipping the wait staff. This can be said of a majority of the food there, but you are paying for the experience. Like I said, I will go back, but no one should expect to be blown away by their "gourmet" food offerings. My recommendation would be to go eat elsewhere first and enjoy the free water (you will need it) with the popcorn flavored salt they provide with the ticket price. read more

My wife and I are senior citizens. This has become our theater of choice because of the comfort and convenience (as well as fewer obnoxious guests). however, we haven't been in 3 or 4 months because of the holiday season. Today, I tried to get to the web site to make a reservation. Blank screen for an hour. I did eventually find out the problem is they are currently incompatible with Firefox, but that the Microsoft browser works OK. Not a good first impression. In the meantime, I called for information. Between the noise in the background and the speaker's rapid fire presentation, it was impossible to hear well enough to do business. I was also a little concerned about the news that some of the comfortable seats have been pulled out and overall quality has declined. I attended a movie tonight. The change in seating was not too noticeable. However, the refreshment/drink service was almost non-existent. We will go back again, but it is less attractive to us than it used to be. read more
